Denver Mayor Declares War on Federal Law: Vows to Use Police and Citizens to Block Deportation of Illegal Migrants, Including Gang Members

Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston of Denver, Colorado has declared war on President Trump’s efforts to enforce immigration policies.
Mayor Johnston has made it clear that he will go as far as using city police and local volunteers to physically prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants, including those with potential gang affiliations.
In a recent interview with Denverite, Johnston unapologetically declared his intention to turn Denver into a fortress of resistance against immigration enforcement, framing his actions as a moral crusade.
“We won’t change that, because those are one of our core values,” Johnston said, adding, “We’re not going to sell out those values to anyone. We’re not going to be bullied into changing them.”
“I think we are gonna continue to be a welcoming, open, big-hearted city that’s gonna stand by our values,” Johnston added.
Johnston’s approach, which includes using Denver’s police force and even mobilizing citizens to obstruct federal operations, has drawn comparisons to lawless sanctuary cities.
He boldly claimed that Denverites themselves would rise up to form a human barricade against federal authorities, invoking imagery of the infamous Tiananmen Square protests.
“More than us having [Denver Police] stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Johnston boasted, adding, “It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right?” You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them.”
Johnston’s remarks go further, suggesting that any federal attempt to enforce immigration law in Denver would require “invading” Colorado with out-of-state National Guard units.
“I do not believe that our governor is going to let them use our [Colorado] National Guard at the state level,” he said. “Unless they were planning on bringing national guards mobilized from Texas or Alabama to come invade Colorado, I don’t know where they would find the forces to begin to do that,” the crooked mayor said.
“And that seems to me like a very, very bad idea from start to finish that no reasonable American would support,” he added.
Johnston’s defiance is not without potential consequences.
Mike Davis, the founder and president of the Article III Project (A3P), an organization focused on judicial matters, underscored that Johnston could face charges for conspiracy, obstruction, assaulting federal officers, and numerous other serious federal felonies.
President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for “border czar,” Tom Homan, is uninterested in Democrat politicians’ whiny bluster.
Recently, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker puffed his ample chest out to pledge to keep Illinois a sanctuary for illegal immigrants and hint that his administration will continue to put illegals ahead of citizens.
Pritzker said, “If you come for my people, you come through me.”
Homan replied simply, “Game on. We’ve got no problem going through him.”
“I’ve got 20,000 men and women in ICE who are going to do their job with no apology. Congress has enacted a law that protects this country. People need to understand… entering this country illegally is a crime.”
“Every illegal alien in this country committed a crime to get here. So they’re all criminals.”
“We’re gonna enforce the law without apology… and if any governor wants to stand in the way, go ahead and do it. We’ll see what happens. We’re not gonna be intimidated.”
‘Devout Catholic’ Joe Biden Awards Medal of Freedom to Former President of Planned Parenthood

Joe Biden has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the former president of the abortion provider Planned Parenthood.
Biden, who likes to describe himself as a “devout Catholic,” awarded Cecile Richards the medal during a private ceremony on Wednesday.
“Carrying her parents’ torch for justice, she’s led some of our Nation’s most important civil rights causes – to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality, and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote,” Biden reportedly said during the ceremony.
“A leader of utmost character, she has carved an inspiring legacy that endures in her incredible family, the countless lives she has made better, and a Nation seeking the light of equality, justice, and freedom.”

Richards left Planned Parenthood in 2018 after serving as its president for 12 years. Under her leadership, millions of babies were aborted that might otherwise have had a chance at life.

Richards, who is the daughter of the former Texas Governor Ann Richards, revealed earlier this year she had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
It also happens to be the same condition that killed Biden’s late son Beau.
Her interest in abortion was partially the result of having had one herself, which she said at the time was “wasn’t a difficult decision.”
“I had an abortion. It was the right decision for me and my husband, and it wasn’t a difficult decision,” Richards wrote back in 2014.
“Before becoming president of Planned Parenthood eight years ago, I hadn’t really talked about it beyond family and close friends.”
“But I’m here to say, when politicians argue and shout about abortion, they’re talking about me — and millions of other women around the country.”
The Presidential Medal of Freedom remains America’s highest civilian honor and is typically reserved for those who have made extraodinary contributions to society.
Back in July, Biden awarded the medal to 19 separate people, including former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former Vice President Al Gore and the women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe.

Elon Musk has been flexing his opinion muscles all through Europe in comments on his social media platform X, having called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz ‘a fool’, harshly criticizing the Italian Judiciary for hindering Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s plans to send migrants to Albania, and finally saying that the United Kingdom has gone ‘full Stalin’ with their inheritance tax plans.
Now, as British MPs endeavor to investigate him, Musk is doubling down on his comments.
“Elon Musk has hit back at MPs’ threats to summon him to Britain to probe him in his social media platform X’s role in so-called ‘disinformation’ during the summer riots.”
An inquiry in the House of Commons is meaning to investigate the rise of ‘harmful’ AI content online by calling tech heavyweights to probe the ‘spread of content that can mislead and harm’.
Labour’s select committee chairwoman, MP Chi Onwurah has called on the Tesla and SpaceX owner to explain his alleged ‘promotion of pure disinformation’.
“But Musk has hit back in kind, warning MPs that ‘they will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens’.”
Musk replied to a post by Malaysian political commentator Ian Miles Cheong calling his invitation to the committee a ‘trap’.
“’This is a trap’, Cheong warned, adding that MPs would ‘detain him at the border, demand to see the contents of his phone, and charge him under counter-terrorism laws when he refuses’.”
They will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens
MP Onwurah wants to see ‘how he reconciles his promotion of freedom of expression with his promotion of pure disinformation’.

Cenk Uygur, founder and lead host of The Young Turks, appears to have distanced himself from his party’s usual rhetoric.
In the wake of Kamala Harris’s crushing defeat, Uygur is not only lambasting his own party but cozying up to unlikely allies, including Elon Musk and even Donald Trump Jr.
Earlier this year, Uygur stunned his base when he announced he was “considering” voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. instead of Joe Biden. On his show, Uygur accused the Democrat establishment of sabotaging democracy to maintain its grip on power.
[RFK Jr.] right to be concerned about Biden being a threat to democracy himself, maybe not for the reasons that he’s stating, but Biden did support anti-democratic movements within the primary. The Democratic Party cancelled the election in Florida; they tried to keep out every candidate in North Carolina, Tennessee, et cetera.
So they love to rig elections; yes, I used the word rigged, so you can go cry about it in mainstream media. How about you do you job and talk about how they cancelled an election in Florida and just declared Biden the winner. So if you’re going ot make the argument you are a champion of democracy, you should probably try it in your own primaries.

RFK Jr. later dropped out of the race, urging his supporters to vote for Donald Trump.
After Harris’s catastrophic defeat, Uygur’s criticisms only intensified, shifting his focus toward the broader failings of Democrat leadership.
In the aftermath of Kamala Harris’s defeat, Uygur took to X to voice his frustrations with the Democratic establishment. His posts lambasted the party for its intolerance and elitism, claiming they now embody the very corporate culture he once despised in the GOP.
He wrote:
“When I became a Democrat, it was the more tolerant party. Republicans were run by religious nut jobs and corporate robots. Now, the Democrats are in a lot of ways the less tolerant party.
The least tolerant part is actually the establishment wing of the party that says anyone opposing their anointed leaders is committing heresy. If you try to give constructive criticism of the party to improve it, they drive you from the party while screaming, “He’s not a real Democrat!!”
They hate populists. They have become the corporate robots I couldn’t stand. They hate their base. They insult our intelligence by pretending that the donors are not in charge. They think we should be controlled and learn how to follow orders. And they have no idea how elitist they sound.
Predictably, their unironic reaction to this post will be, “Heretic!!””
Uygur’s disillusionment didn’t stop at criticism; it veered into the bizarre when he pitched himself to Elon Musk as a potential ally in slashing government waste. Responding to Musk’s calls for budget efficiency, Uygur volunteered:
“Hey Elon Musk, put me in charge of the Pentagon. I’ll slash $400B easy. That’ll get you 20% to your goal of $2T, right out of the gate. I went to Wharton three years before you. I own a media company, so I know how to run a business. If you really want to cut, put me in, coach.”
Musk’s response? Surprisingly open: “Specific suggestions are welcome.”
Uygur doubled down, suggesting a ten-year ban on generals taking jobs with defense contractors to curb wasteful spending. The idea earned him a rare nod from Donald Trump Jr., who called it “a great idea that has been discussed.”
“As you know, you’d need to see the line items in the budget, but I have one suggestion already. The generals are not allowed to get a job with defense contractors for ten years. They authorize so much wasteful spending because they’re going to get hired by those same companies.”
Uygur responded with unexpected praise for Trump Jr., stating, “While the left is yelling at me not to work with MAGA, here’s Donald Trump Jr. saying we should limit generals from working for defense contractors. That’s a policy we’ve been pushing for and gotten nowhere with Democrats on. Who cares who does it as long as it gets done?”
In another post, Uygur hammered home his newfound skepticism of the Democratic Party’s inclusivity. He contrasted the openness of Musk and the populist right with the rigid orthodoxy of Democrat elites.
“I asked Elon Musk to put me in charge of cutting the Pentagon. And he said – what are your suggestions? I run the largest left-wing network online and a Democratic leader has NEVER asked me that question. The idea that they would take advice from a populist is disdainful to them.
Now, which side seems more open and inclusive? Which side seems more welcoming and which side tries really hard to drive you away if you disagree even a little with orthodoxy? Which side is asking for suggestions and which one is demanding compliance and obedience?”

A decorated US Marine Veteran, 20 Year NYPD Police Officer, Husband and Father of three turned himself in to authorities in October 2022 to serve the longest sentence that a Judge has handed to a J6 Defendant to date at that time – 10 Years!
Please see the never-before-seen and heartbreaking video below that proves Marine Thomas Webster’s innocence and exculpatory footage of a DC Metro Police Officer provoking him and punching him straight in the face before they wrestle to the ground.
The exculpatory video clips containing in the video above of the officer punching Webster was not handed over to Webster’s attorney until just one week before trial and has been withheld from the public entirely.
The video shows an indignant Webster walk up to the police line and verbally challenge the Metro DC Police after the crowd was attacked with smoke grenades, tear gas, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and people literally being thrown to the ground in the minutes before he reached the gate. An indignant Webster wanted answers, but instead got decked with a loaded left hook by DC Metro Police Officer Noah Rathbun, who had antagonized him with hand gestures seconds earlier and seemed to be challenging him to a fight.
A shocked Webster’s Marine Corps flag drops from his hands and the aggressive officer crossed over the gate to reengage with Webster, who waved him to stay away. The officer still comes forward and grabbed Webster’s flag pole. Webster sensed danger and says he reacted in self defense. The men wrestle to the ground. The office rammed the flag pole twice into the side of Webster’s mouth. Webster admits he grabbed at he officer’s gas mask, but did not strike him, although he could have if he wanted.
The Dishonorable Judge Mehta does not believe in due process and over-sentenced Webster to make an example of him.
The biased jury still found this man guilty on all charges and he will now serve a decade in prison for this scuffle. It is noteworthy that the officer he “attacked” never reported the incident and said he didn’t remember it, until he was approached by the FBI to testify. Officer Rathbun’s body cam footage shows he initiated the fight and punched Webster, therefore it is likely he did not want to draw attention to himself. An incident report is required by DC Metro directives regarding use of force like striking. He said he went to the hospital on the night of January 6th for another injury to his hand, yet never reported an injury or the incident involving Webster. At Webster’s trial Rathbun said he was not hurt and would not issue a victim’s statement.
The biggest part of this story may be what many don’t know- which is that Officer Rathbun was under investigation for the lethal shooting of Vedo Hall on May 24th, 2021. Vedo happens to be black. This is notable as the story of a black man shot and killed by a white cop generally equates to tremendous Mainstream Media coverage, but this particular story is COMPLETELY BURIED and no one heard about this incident. An incident like this gets viral national attention and the attention of Black Lives Matter. YET THERE IS ONLY A MINUSCULE AMOUNT OF INFORMATION RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC. Even more suspicious- according to the brief report on NBC Washington, “for the first time since the District enacted a law requiring the release of body-worn camera footage any time a D.C. police officer uses lethal force, Mayor Muriel Bowser will not release video of the most recent police killing.“ Muriel Bowser is a big supporter of the Black Lives Matter Movement, so this makes little to no sense. Black Lives Matter would surely demand release of this body-cam footage if they caught wind of this story, yet it was BURIED.
Those close to the matter suspect that the story was covered up and the lid kept tight because Officer Rathbun’s credibility and reputation was needed to stay intact so he could testify as star victim witness against Webster. The case against Webster would go up in smoke if Rathbun was nationally exposed and demonized to the jury. With a possible use of force investigation that could result in national notoriety and jail time, the Government literally had Rathbun by the cajones, and the reluctant Rathbun had to testify to put Webster away. The morning of the first day of the trail the prosecution announced that the investigation into Rathbun’s shooting incident was over, and the jury could not be made aware of it, and the Officer could not be questioned about it in the trial.

Webster, a pawn in the Biden Regime’s agenda, is the unfortunate one that will pay with a decade of his life and leave his wife and teenage children behind.
Decorated Marine Thomas Webster is being used as an example by the Biden Regime. Webster served Honorably and with Distinction in the most decorated 1st Battalion of the United States Marine Corps.
“Under normal circumstances, a person’s long history of service would be considered in sentencing,” said Micki Witthoeft (Ashli Babbitt’s mother) of Citizen Against Political Persecution. “This is NOT a normal America that we are living in. It is extremely disturbing that the judge in this case DID NOT take into consideration Thomas Webster’s valiant service to this country.”
Even more egregious is the fact that the Dishonorable Judge Amit P. Mehta went so far as to essentially rule that Thomas Webster was a LIAR for claiming “Self-Defense” when Webster testified the officer he wrestled with punched him straight in the face and incited the fight. The video posted in this article shows that Webster was NOT lying- in fact the video shows multiple angles of DC Metro Police Officer Noah Rathburn deck Webster as he argued with him at a gate holding his Marine Corps flag.
The Dishonorable Judge Mehta does not believe in due process. The Obama appointee is part of the Regime and over sentenced Webster to gain brownie points with the Regime.
The clear and blatant weaponization of the Law Enforcement and Judicial system at the highest levels in America is on full display in Thomas Webster’s case. Statistically, the FBI, DOJ, and even the Federal Judges are going extremely hard after anyone involved with January 6 who are decorated military veterans, former/active Law Enforcement, and Constitutionally-conservative in their political ideology.

This included training hundreds of NYPD Recruits, and serving in many prominent positions – to include serving on the Personal Protective Detail for NYC Mayor Bloomberg.

On January 6, 2021 Thomas Webster attended his very first political rally EVER! At 2pm he arrived at the capitol building and went to the West Terrace – along with thousands of others – after being told there would be a speech. As Tom walked closer to the gathering of protestors the reality of the situation began settling in. Tactics being used by the police were hurting and ultimately killing protestors – to include Benjamin Philips and Kevin Greeson. Tom witnessed elderly people covered in blood, terrified children, and people who had been severely injured from projectiles. Women being assaulted and beaten – even when their hands were in the air! Bodies were being carried off on makeshift stretchers! Tom say he also also witnessed people praying in groups, forming circles of support, and begging for God’s grace to survive this madness.
At 2:28pm Tom Webster walked up to a police line, in disbelief at how Americans were being treated by LAW ENFORCEMENT! He approached the barrier to express his 1st Amendment Right. Metropolitan PD police officer Noah Rathburn immediately reacted with very aggressive shoving, instead of de-escalation. At one point Rathburn looks up at Webster’s Marine Corps flag and initiates physical contact – over the barrier! The officer pushed Webster – the push can be seen from several angles when it happens.
An indignant Webster approached DC Metro Police and demands to know why the people are being attacked. He is decked in the face by DC Metro Officer Noah Rathburn and they wrestle to the ground.
Noah Rathburn gives no verbal warning! Instead he reaches over the police barricade, lunges, and pushes Webster multiple times. Frustrated by the Officer’s repeated escalation of physical contact, Webster pushes the bike gate. With a deliberate wind-up, officer Rathburn then punches Webster hard in the face with a GLOVED-HAND. Webster said the punch hit like a freight train, and he was left seeing stars. Noah testified that he attempted to push Webster’s shoulder and slipped, hitting his face. Webster reacts to the hit in self-defense, swinging his flag at the gate rail, never making contact with the officer.
The officer crosses over the gate rail to re-engage Webster. Webster had backed away from the police barrier and reacts to the officer coming towards him. Webster waves the officer to stay away, as at this point Webster believes the officer is after him. The officer crossed the gate rail and grabs the flagpole away from Webster. Webster feels the crowd move forward and feels pressure from a red-hatted man behind him. Tom felt the need to defend himself. The officer then rams the flagpole twice into the side of Webster’s face and mouth. Webster pushes up the officer’s gas mask but doesn’t strike back.
After clearly being assaulted – by a Law Enforcement Officer – Thomas Webster is now forced to turn himself in to serve a 10-Year Prison Sentence where, as a former Law Enforcement Officer himself, he will be surrounded by violent criminals with a target on his back!
Webster was accused of attacking the DC Metro Bully with his pole, and this carefully curated picture was used excessively by the fake news media and prosecutors to demonize him. Ironically, it shows the DC Metro Cop shoving the pole in the face of Webster. The is no video documentation to show Webster ever making contact with the pole as popularly believed due to lazy fake news reporting.
