Meathead Rob Reiner Throws in the Towel, Deletes His Social Media Following Trump’s Victory

One of Hollywood’s most deranged anti-Trump voices has finally given up on his social media accounts.

The actor and director Rob Reiner has spent years using the platform to make ridiculous statements against Donald Trump and in support of Democratic candidates.

Reiner’s final post before the election took place was one for the ages.

“A woman gave birth to each and every one of us,” Reiner posted the day before the election. “Tomorrow a woman will give birth to a renewal of our Democracy.”

“Kamala Harris will be the 47th President of the United States.”

After Trump’s extraordinary victory, Reiner then went silent for several weeks before finally breaking his silence.

His post read:

Now that America has elected a Convicted Felon with Authoritarian proclivities, I fear that Democracy’s return won’t be any time soon.

The long term solutions are daunting. Democrats need to re adopt the 50 state strategy. And most importantly, a competitive information distribution system must be built to combat the massive disinformation currently being fed to the American people.

By a “competitive information distrubition system,” Reiner is of course referring to a platform that aggressively censors conservative viewpoints and only allows content that furthers the entrenched progressive worldview.

Reiner later followed up by calling for Trump to be removed from office and claiming that Russian leader Vladimir Putin had successfully destroyed America.

“The case against Donald Trump is beyond a slam dunk,” Reiner wrote. “If he is not thrown out of office, Putin will have been successful in destroying our 243 year Democratic Experiment.”

The 77-year-old Stand By Me director was among the millions of leftists who have migrated to Bluesky, an alternative social media platform and left-wing echo chamber designed to compete with the X platform.

However, that experiment was also unsuccessful, with Reiner complaining that the platform had been infiltrated by "MAGA scum" who had turned it "vile, racist and evil."

Last week, Reiner announced that he was checking himself into a facility to help deal with the devastating loss.

“I have made the decision to take the next few days to check into a facility for peace and relaxation," he wrote. "No phones, social media, no trolls, just calmness to heal my pain.”

Let's hope Meathead gets the help he so desperately needs.
