November 23, 2024

Russian President Vladimir Putin holds a meeting with several ministers following the success of the Oreshnik missile strike in Ukraine on Thursday.

Vladimir Putin cheered the successful strike of the Oreshnik hypersonic missile in Ukraine following the successful in-field test on Thursday.

As reported earlier by Paul Seran, the Russian leader says, “No air system can intercept Russia’s new Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missile.

And Putin mentioned on Friday that Russia has supplies of the Oreshnik missiles for future strikes.

The Oreshnik can be fitted with nuclear heads that give Russia a decisive advantage against the West and NATO.

So what is Joe Biden and NATO going to do next? Continue to poke the Russian Bear?

Vladimir Putin held a meeting (http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/75623) with senior Defence Ministry officials, representatives of defence industry companies, and missile systems design engineers. Key statements by the President:

The test of Russia’s newest Oreshnik missile system, involving the firing of a ballistic missile with a non-nuclear hypersonic warhead, was a success. Russia will continue to carry out tests of this kind, including ones held in field conditions, as suited to the situation and in accordance with the nature of security threats it will be facing. The country has sufficient supplies of such missiles systems ready for firing.

The President thanked all the designers of the Oreshnik missile system, including all research teams, production facilities, and workers who took part in its creation. The people who designed the system and managed its production will most certainly be put forward for state awards.

The results achieved and the speed at which the system was developed are worthy of pride and admiration and show most conclusively that the Russian missile design school has enormous potential.

Russia possesses a massive technological base and a solid home front in terms of industry and research; the weapon system tested yesterday is another reliable protector of the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Russia is forming an entire lineup of intermediate- and short-range systems: apart from the Oreshnik, the country is now developing several such systems, and once tested, those weapons will also go into production.
