The new Slovakian Prime Minister, Robert Fico, has publicly confirmed what he had been saying since his campaign: he will not follow the previous government’s policies towards Ukraine.
In fact, Fico has now vowed to thwart Kiev’s plans in a number of ways, from vetoing their NATO membership, to stopping all military aid, up until joining Hungary’s blockage of EU’s €50 billion package.
Since MSM is asleep at the wheel, we went to find this story in Azeri and Ukrainian news sources.
EN reported:
“Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico said that at a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmygal, which will take place on January 24 in Uzhgorod, he will announce that he will block Ukraine’s membership in NATO since this would mean the beginning of the Third World War, APA reports citing Political Lore.
‘I know what I’m going with (to the meeting with the Ukrainian prime minister), I’m going with humanitarian aid, we’ll confirm that they will not receive any weapons from the Slovak army and from state warehouses, I’ll say that there are things on which our views are completely different. […] I will say that I am against Ukraine’s membership in NATO, that I will use the right of veto and block it because this will be the foundation of the Third World War’ – Fico said on Saturday.”
Fico thinks the January 24 meeting in Uzhgorod will be ‘interesting’.
The Slovak government will focus on humanitarian assistance and no longer send weapons to Ukraine.
“The Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Fico, did not approve the proposal of the previous government, which concerned sending the next package of military assistance to Ukraine for 40.3 million euros.”
Slovakia had sent 13 packages of military assistance worth 671 million Euros, so far.
Slovakia’s Fico and Hungary’s Orbán: right and left wings united against Globalism.
Ukrainian World Congress reported:
“’It is not surprising that the party that holds the majority in the Slovak government would not agree to Ukraine’s NATO membership, as it would be the beginning of the third world war’, Fico stated in an interview with InfoVojna.
Fico stated that Slovakia would veto decisions as long as ‘[he has] the ability to influence the Slovak political scene‘. At the same time, the Slovak Prime Minister is convinced that Ukraine will never join NATO. Additionally, Fico believes that Ukraine needs years to join the European Union, but he will not oppose this accession.
‘If making such an overrated political gesture is needed to support Ukraine, I have no problem with it… but it must fulfill all the conditions’, concluded Fico.”
That means that Fico half-heartedly supports the Ukrainian EU accession, but not the financial aid, and backs Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán’s fight with the block.
The Fico-Orbán alliance is unusual, but the leftist Slovakian and Hungarian right winger seem to have found a lot in common.
Associated Press reported:
“Following bilateral talks in Budapest, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico said he agrees with Orbán’s position that the EU should not finance a planned 50 billion euro ($54 billion) aid package to Kyiv from the bloc’s common budget, and echoed Orbán’s assertions that the war in Ukraine cannot be resolved through military means.
‘We have listened very carefully to the proposals that Prime Minister (Orbán)… has already put forward in relation to the review of the budget and aid to Ukraine, and I will repeat that we consider them to be rational and sensible’, Fico said.”

American military personnel overseas make tremendous sacrifices from afar for our nation. While deployed, they often gain new perspectives that they bring home with them. Such is the case for Jason Nelson and Benjamin Riley who retired from the U.S. Army after being deployed across the Middle East.
What they found when they came home concerned them. Through their roles in civil affairs, they had to help stabilize communities that were in crisis. What they saw there is echoing through events they see happening in the United States today.
“I’ve been to other countries where there was a supply chain breakdown, and it doesn’t take war to break it,” Nelson said. “Once that happens, most become 100% dependent on government assistance, and that comes with massive strings attached.”
The two disabled veterans formed Prepper All-Naturals, a company that specializes in high-quality freeze-dried beef for long-term storage. But they knew they didn’t want to sell “beef crumbles” or the scraps other companies sell as “beef chunks,” so they became the first company to offer shelf-stable high-end cuts such as Ribeye, NY Strip, and Tenderloin.
Nelson and Riley believe our food supply chain is in jeopardy. With food processing plants mysteriously being destroyed, bird flu continuing to spread, trains derailed, cattle herds dying suddenly, and an incessant push by globalists for bugs and lab-grown meat, it’s clear that America is on the verge of a major food crisis.
“We came home and saw a plethora of challenges hammering most Americans,” he said. “It’s all adding up to one huge problem but the simple solution was to streamline a source of protein that people could stockpile for the lean times ahead.”
Prepper All-Naturals beef is cooked sous vide with one ingredient: beef. It is then freeze-dried and put into mylar bags with oxygen absorbers to make it shelf-stable for 25 years or more. As real meat continues to be hit from every angle, Nelson and Riley believe Americans are going to need as much long-term storage beef as possible.
“We will never use lab-grown meat or cows that have had mRNA injections, both of which are coming in the near future,” Nelson said. “Meat should come from a pasture, not a petri dish. We believe in America which is why we want Americans to have as much high-quality beef as they can get.”

The hope of the Nikki Haley campaign to defeat President Trump in the New Hampshire GOP presidential primary on Tuesday with independent (“undeclared”) and disaffected Republican voters appears to being going down in flames with Trump now over 50 percent support overall, leading Haley 53 to 36 percent, while almost catching up to Haley with independents 44-45 percent, according to the daily tracking poll of 500 likely GOP primary voters by Suffolk University, the Boston Globe and NBC 10 released Saturday. (Previous TGP report on the N.H. tracking poll.)

The January 17 tracking poll had Trump leading Haley 50 to 34 percent among all voters while Haley led with independents 44 to 38 percent. Much of Trump’s gain likely came from supporters of Ohio businessman Vivek Ramaswamy who dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump on Tuesday night after finishing fourth in the Iowa caucus and from previously undecided voters.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), is a distant third, coming at 7 percent support in Saturday’s poll, an increase from the 5 percent support he had in the January 17 poll.
Haley, the former GOP governor of South Carolina, had secured the support of New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) who has campaigned with Haley around the state in the past few weeks. Sununu told reporters this week he now expected Haley to finish second.
One interesting point for Haley in Saturday’s poll, though not enough to make a difference, is a gain in Republican support from 24 percent in the poll released on the 17th to 29 percent in the poll released Saturday. In the same polls, Trump went from 61 to 59 percent. The daily polls have a margin of error of 4.4 percent.
Trump stunned Haley on Friday by securing the endorsement of former 2024 rival Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). Haley had appointed then Rep. Scott to the Senate in 2012, giving him national stature.
Haley’s stunned reaction to the news of Scott’s endorsement of Trump was captured on video Friday by Mark Halperin:

Haley later released a statement calling Scott a ‘Washington insider’:

Sununu similarly dismissed Scott’s endorsement, saying “nobody cares,” in a video clip posted by Washington Post reporter Dylan Wells:

The vote for New Hampshire Republican primary is open to those who registered by October 6, 2023 as Republican or “Undeclared”. It has been reported a few thousand Democrats switched to “Undeclared” before the October deadline, but apparently not enough to make a difference for Haley.
Politico reported Democrat groups are trying to damage Trump by targeting undeclared voters to vote for Haley. That plan may be undercut by a write-in effort for Joe Biden who skipped the traditional first in the nation primary in New Hampshire in favor of South Carolina. Undeclared voters can vote in either the Republican or Democrat primary.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) fired up the crowd last night at the Trump rally in Concord, New Hampshire.
Stefanik was one of the first members of Congress to endorse Donald Trump for President.
This was a great speech. It is widely known that Rep. Stefanik is being mentioned as a possible running mate for President Trump.
Rep. Elise Stefanik: Every election, we say, is the most important election of our lifetime. But this one, this Election, this NoVember, we know the fate of our great nation is at stake. We know this is the most important election of our lifetime because we have seen, under Joe Biden, crisis after crisis after crisis. Compare that to the incredible strong leadership of President Donald J. Trump. Let me start with the border. The border crisis, which is Joe Biden’s doing. It is an absolute catastrophe across this country. Every district is a border district. Every state is a border state. We’re in a border state right here in New Hampshire. How do I know that? Because I represent a border district as well. And I will tell you, we have seen over 8 million illegal crossings plus across our southern border.
But we’ve also seen a skyrocketing of illegals crossing across our northern border, including in the Swanton sector, which covers my district. And right here in New Hampshire, over a 550% increase in illegal crossings, including individuals on the terrorist watch list. This is Joe Biden’s doing. We know what works when it comes to securing our border. We know that President Trump, we had the most secure border in our nation’s history. We need to build the wall. We need to end catch and release, and we need to restore the remain in Mexico policies that worked. And we need to hold Joe Biden accountable.
And it’s not just a border crisis. It is an economic crisis every single day that hardworking families are facing. Hardworking families right here in New Hampshire, hardworking families in my district in upstate New York, and hardworking families across America. Because of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer’s trillions of dollars of reckless spending, we now have the highest rate of inflation, bidenflation in my lifetime.
I was so proud that President Trump rebuilt our nation’s military. Today, what we’re seeing under Joe Biden is a Department of Defense that’s more focused on woke policies rather than lethality, and making sure that we have the strongest military in the world. We are seeing weakness because of Joe Biden. We saw it with the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, an unbelievable embarrassment that our adversaries were watching. We have seen war in the Middle East, and our most precious ally, Israel, under attack under Joe Biden’s watch. And it is because he is the weakest commander-in-chief we have ever seen.
Joe Biden needs to be fired and we need to restore American strength in the White House. We need to restore and elect Donald J. Trump as the next commander-in-chief because we know he was our strongest commander-in-chief. And let me tell you, every single day, President Trump is fighting against a corrupt and weaponized federal government. We need to save this country, to save our constitution. Just look at this schedule that President Trump, he’s here today in New Hampshire.
They’re trying to remove President Trump from the ballot illegally, to suppress the will of the American people. It’s Democrats who are attacking democracy. We are going to save our constitution and save this country. And that starts with making sure that President Trump wins in New Hampshire. And I just want to comment. President Trump is on the right side of history. You in this room, are on the right side of history. I was so proud to ask those university presidents a moral question about being on the right side of history. We are on the right side of history…
…I have been so proud to stand up for my district, for the american people in the toughest fights. Whether it’s holding those university presidents accountable, whether it’s leading the charge against the sham impeachment part one, holding Adam Schiff accountable, whether it’s standing up for election integrity, whether it’s defeating Liz Cheney to unify the Republican Party, whether it’s being the first member of Congress to endorse President Trump. I know that the people are behind him, you know, and I know and Joe Biden knows that Donald Trump is going to win this November.

Far-left MSNBC host Elie Mystal this week suggested Joe Biden can order a preemptive strike on Mar-a-Lago as he argued against Trump’s immunity claims.
“So if the Supreme Court says that the presidents have this, you know, complete immunity from prosecution and whatever, what’s to stop, oh, I don’t know, the actual president Joe Biden from launching a preemptive strike on a rebel stronghold at Mar-a-Lago to engineer regime change? What’s to stop Biden from doing that, right?” Elie Mystal said.
He continued, “For the record, as Andrew [Weissmann] was saying, I do not think that Biden has the power to launch a strike against his political rival, right?”
“Trump doesn’t seem to understand — and the people who support Trump don’t seem to understand — that the powers he calls onto himself must be given to every single other president. But I think John Roberts will understand that,” Elie Mystal said.

Elie Mystal’s insane rant echoed absurd hypothetical arguments about Trump’s immunity claims lobbed by hired gun Jack Smith and Biden-appointed judge Florence Pan.
Earlier this month President Trump’s attorney John Sauer appeared before a three-judge panel for the DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday morning to argue Trump’s immunity claims in Jack Smith’s DC case.
The three-judge panel hearing oral arguments on immunity claims: Florence Pan (Biden appointee), Michelle Childs (Biden appointee), and Karen Henderson (George W. Bush appointee).
Recall that Jack Smith went completely off the rails and told a federal appeals court that Trump’s immunity argument would allow him to order his supporters to murder opposing lawmakers.
Trump’s lawyers argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged ‘crimes’ committed while he served as US President.
Jack Smith argued Trump is not immune from prosecution because he could order the murder of his political opponents or sell nuclear secrets.
“The implications of the defendant’s broad immunity theory are sobering. In his view, a court should treat a President’s criminal conduct as immune from prosecution as long as it takes the form of correspondence with a state official about a matter in which there is a federal interest, a meeting with a member of the Executive Branch, or a statement on a matter of public concern,” according to Jack Smith’s 82-page filing reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.
Jack Smith’s team argued that if Trump is protected by the presidential immunity argument, what could stop him from telling his “inciting his supporters during a State of the Union address to kill opposing lawmakers…”
A three-judge panel heard oral arguments on Tuesday and appeared skeptical of Trump’s immunity claims – one judge, a Biden appointee, asked attorney John Sauer if Trump would be subject to criminal prosecution if he ordered SEAL Team 6 to assassinate his political rivals.
“Could a president who ordered SEAL Team 6 to assassinate a political rival, and is not impeached, would he be subject to criminal prosecution?” Judge Florence Pan, a Biden appointee asked John Sauer.
John Sauer, former Solicitor General of Missouri and friend of The Gateway Pundit, replied, “If he were impeached and convicted first… my answer is qualified yes, there is a political process that would have to occur under the structure of our Constitution which would require impeachment and conviction by the Senate in these exceptional cases…”
