The widespread farmers’ protests happening all over Europe are having in France one of its most dramatic chapter, as tractors and cars are set to block all highways around Paris, and the security forces are on alert.
In a very typical move, President Emmanuel Macron and his government have ‘caved’ to some farmers demands, but this time around the agricultural workers seem ready to go the extra mile in their protest over low produce prices, high fixed costs, growing red tape and the crippling ‘green’ regulations that expose them to exports from foreign countries.

“Farmers in France, the European Union’s biggest agricultural producer, have complained of unfair competition from rivals in more lightly regulated countries. Over the last week, they have set up roadblocks on motorways to highlight their cause. They have also damaged property, including local government offices.
Some farmers’ unions called for protesters to set up transport roadblocks around the capital on Monday, and to target the Rungis food market near Paris.
‘Our aim is to encircle Paris’, farmer Daniel Faucheux told BFM TV, as he prepared to travel to the capital in a convoy of farmers’ vehicles and tractors.”

Paris police increased security around Rungis market and the Paris Roissy airport, including the use of armored vehicles.
“Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said those measures were to ensure no tractor could get into Paris, but he nevertheless warned of disruption on Monday in the Ile-de-France region, which covers Paris and the nearby suburbs. He added that around 15,000 police would be used as part of the security operation.”
All this happens to the background of upcoming European elections in June. Rightwing parties are predicted to make big gains, and have garnered a lot of farmer support.

“French far-right leader Marine Le Pen – President Emmanuel Macron’s closest opponent in the 2017 and 2022 elections – visited some of those demonstrating in northern France. ‘We have got to get our farming out of these free trade agreements’, she said.”
Macron’s government is a succession of never ending crises and mass protests, from Yellow Vests to Tyrannical Pension Reform to immigrant riots and Islamist rage over Gaza – so they decided to cave, and drop plans to reduce state subsidies on agricultural diesel.
Too little, too late, responded the farmers, not incloined to stop now. So France’s interior ministry Darmanin ordered a large deployment of security forces around Paris.

ABC News reported:
“Darmanin said he ordered security forces to ‘prevent any blockade’ of Rungis International Market — which supplies the capital and surrounding region with much of its fresh food — and the Paris airports as well as to ban any convoy of farmers from entering the capital and any other big city. He said that helicopters will monitor convoys of tractors.
Farmers of the Rural Coordination union in the Lot-et-Garonne region, where the protests originated, said they plan to use their tractors Monday to head toward the Rungis International Market.
France’s two biggest farmers unions said in a statement that their members based in areas surrounding the Paris region would seek to block all major roads to the capital, with the aim of putting the city ‘under siege’, starting Monday afternoon.”

A jury has convicted a man who identifies as “transgender” and his lover for the shocking and horrific torture and murder of a San Francisco man.
Gerald Rowe, 52, and David “Angel” Anderson, 41, met with the victim, 23-year-old George Randall-Saldivar, for what is believed to have been a consensual sexual encounter on February 3, 2019.
The encounter took place at Rowe’s apartment on Market Street in San Francisco.
After the sexual encounter concluded, the transgender man confronted Saldivar with a machete and tied him up.
“A noose was placed around the victim’s neck with the attached rope tethered through a pulley device near the ceiling. The victim’s hands were bound behind his back with zip ties, a strap, and duct tape. The victim was tortured for more than 4 hours in this position as he was screamed at, hit, punched, sodomized, assaulted with plyers, and a bag placed over his head,” the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office wrote in the criminal complaint, according to a report from local station KRON.
After torturing the young man for hours, Rowe left to purchase fentanyl.
The duo injected a fatal dose of the drug into the young man and stuffed him in a suitcase to die.
“Within about 90-seconds, the victim began to convulse and struggle to breathe. Next, while still alive, Mr. Rowe and Ms. Anderson folded the victim into a large rolling suitcase, before zipping it up and waiting for him to die,” the complaint continued.
The next day, roughly 20 hours later, the couple wore disguises to roll the suitcase two miles away and throw it in the water along Rincon Park.
Saldivar’s body was discovered floating in the water on February 18, over two weeks after his murder.
Anderson confessed to the murder two days after the body was discovered. He pleaded guilty to murder, torture, and poisoning.
Rowe was convicted this week of first-degree murder, torture, poisoning, and conspiracy following a jury trial.
KRON reports, “Rowe is currently in custody awaiting his sentencing hearing. He will be sentenced on March 18, and faces life in state prison without the possibility of parole. Anderson is also currently in custody. She will be sentenced to 25–years-to-life in state prison on March 18, the DA’s Office said.”
Local news reports were careful to refer to Anderson as a “woman,” despite being a biological male.

For decades, after the Second World War, Finland maintained a political neutrality, while the Cold War struggle between the West and the Soviet Union and its satellites raged.
After the onset of war in the Ukraine, the northern European country, that shares a 830-mile border with Russia, decided that it needed to align itself to the west.
Finland subsequently became a NATO member, in April 4th, 2023.
Now, in the run-up to its first election since its accession to the military alliance, the Finnish will decide what direction the country is to take moving forward.xxx
The two leading candidates represent the mainstream left and right-wings of Finnish politics, but the hard right candidate has risen in recent polls.
Voting began morning, with nine candidates trying to become the Nordic nation’s 13th president.

“The two leading contenders, Alex Stubb from the right-wing National Coalition Party and Green politician Pekka Haavisto, both have a wealth of foreign policy experience – an important qualification for the role which is largely ceremonial, but retains a constitutional lead on foreign affairs outside of the EU; with the office holder also commander-in-chief of the Finnish military.
Recent polls have put Stubb and Haavisto within a few percentage points of each other, and as close as 0.6% – and with neither candidate likely to get more than 50% in the first round, the top two will head to a second-round vote in February.
‘There definitely is a sense of excitement’, said Haavisto, who was campaigning in the capital region ahead of polling day.”
Unlike regrettable US elections that take forever to sort out (and rig), results in Finland are fast to come out.
Associated Press reported:
“Ex-Prime Minister Alexander Stubb was projected to win the first round of Finland’s presidential election on Sunday and face runner-up Pekka Haavisto in a runoff next month.
Finnish public broadcaster YLE projected that Stubb won the first round of the presidential election with 27.3% of the votes, while Haavisto, an ex-foreign minister, took second place with 25.8%. Parliamentary Speaker Jussi Halla-aho came in third place with 18.6%.
The projected result will push the race into a runoff on Feb. 11 between Stubb and Haavisto, because none of the candidates received more than half of the votes.”
Stubb represents the conservative National Coalition Party, He was Finnish Prime Minister in 2014-2015, while Green veteran politician Haavisto, an ex-U.N. diplomat, is running for the post for the third time as an independent candidate.
In Finland, the President formulates foreign and security policy, as well as act as the supreme commander of the military, – a relevant question in Europe’s current security environment.

Nikki Haley went on Meet the Press on Sunday morning to trash Trump and distance herself from his 74 million voters.
Haley is hoping that by slamming Trump on liberal television she will gain more base Democrat voters in the upcoming contests.
During questioning, Haley told Kristen Welker that she absolutely trusts the New York City jury who awarded serial liar E. Jean Carroll $83 million for defamation in a rape case she filed but is not even aware of the season, month, or year it took place.
As reported earlier – Here’s what you need to know about E. Jean Carroll. Most of this information was deemed “inadmissible” by the judge per John LeFevre:
She couldn’t recall the date, month, season, or year the incident happened
She never told anyone about it, despite being publicly obsessed with her own sexuality
The dress she claims to have been wearing didn’t exist at the time
Her description of the dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman was inaccurate, making her sequence of events impossible
Her lawsuit was bankrolled by Jeffrey Epstein pal and Democrat (and Nikki Haley) mega-donor Reid Hoffman
Democrats created a law (The Adult Survivors Act in 2022) to enable her lawsuit to proceed
Her accusation is the exact plotline of an episode of Law & Order (one of her “favorite shows”)
Trump’s Apprentice was also one of her favorite shows
She has a history of falsely accusing men of rape, including Les Moonves
She told Anderson Cooper, “most people think of rape as being sexy. Think of the fantasies.”
She made a career promoting promiscuity, even writing glowingly of sexual assault and naming her cat Vagina
The jury was a farce and any so-called Republican who does not understand the lawfare taking place in America today is unqualified for office – unless she’s running as a Democrat – which may be the case.
Nikki may be trying to shore up the Democrat vote but at some point, unless she has voter manufacturing system like Joe Biden, she will have to attempt to capture a few Republican votes.

Nikki Haley: “I absolutely trust the jury, and I think that they made their decision based on the evidence. I just don’t think that should take him off the ballot. I think American people will take him off the ballot.”

The Texas National Guard this weekend installed more razor wire in Shelby Park amid an escalating border battle with the Biden Regime.
The US Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden Regime and allowed Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire installed on the Texas-Mexico border.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R) previously installed about 30 miles of razor wire at the Texas-Mexico border near Eagle Pass to stop the flood of illegal aliens being let in by the Biden administration.
In October Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Biden Regime regarding their cutting razor wire at the border.
The lawsuit made its way to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals after a federal judge sided with Biden. The appeals court last month said agents could NOT cut the razor wire.
In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court granted Biden’s emergency request last Monday afternoon.
Conservative justices Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett (Trump appointee) sided with the liberals and granted the Biden Regime’s emergency request.
The Texas National Guard is still allowed to install razor wire. Texas is not backing down.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday evening vowed to defy the Supreme Court’s ruling on razor wire at the southern border.
Earlier this month Texas took control of Shelby Park and blocked federal agents from accessing the 47-acre city in Eagle Pass and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is not backing down.
Ken Paxton on Friday rejected Joe Biden’s demands for access to Shelby Park.

On Wednesday Governor Abbott invoked Texas’ Constitutional authority to defend itself against the lawless Biden Regime.

“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now,” reads the statement. “President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.”
