‘The war over the future of the church is far from over’
There have been a number of divisions in the Catholic Church since its stated foundation during the time of Jesus’ apostles.
One of the big events was the East-West schism in which the Roman Catholics separated from Eastern Orthodox churches in 1054 A.D. and each group went its own way.
There are others in the history books, and today, individual Catholic groups are deeply embroiled in disagreement over issues including the LGBT lifestyle choice, clerical sexual abuse, celebrating the liturgy and much more.
Religion News Service reported not long ago that Pope Francis’ Synod on Synodality recently found, “Participants felt this division as a profound sense of pain and anxiety.”
The report noted, “A controversy about whether Catholic pro-choice politicians, including President Joe Biden, should be allowed to receive Communion at Mass has fractured Catholic communities in recent years and led U.S. Bishops to launch a $28 million three-year process to ‘restore’ and ‘revive’ the Eucharist.”
Such division of opinion already has been described in published reports as scandalous.
And now it’s worse.
A report at Just the News explains that, “For the first time in recent memory, the ‘s-word’ is being dusted off and bandied in some circles.”
That word is schism.
The report said, “Just after the one-time Catholic Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio was elected Pope Francis in 2013, he made an infamous lament over dinner with the cardinals who had just voted for him. ‘May God forgive you for what you’ve done,’ he said.
“Now, more than a decade later, an increasing number of church leaders openly agree with that sentiment, loudly bemoaning the direction taken by the first pontiff to be born in the Americas.”
In fact, “schism” is “being dusted off and bandied in same circles,” the report said.
Those talks mostly are being pushed by “progressive” changes that are being made by Francis, the pope, including how the church views homosexuals, transgenders, women, divorcees and more.
The pope also has been busy demoting multiple conservatives in the church hierarchy.
The report said the disagreements have gotten so serious “some 90 leading church thinkers – more than a dozen of them from the U.S. or with strong ties to the U.S. church – signed an open letter last week to ‘all cardinals and bishops of the Catholic church.’”
They are calling for Francis to withdraw a declaration from late last year that gave Catholic priests auathorization to “bless” homosexual duos. even though the Bible condemns homosexual behavior.
The report explained it’s just the latest extremist move by Francis, who earlier had been blasted for his criticisms of nationalism and capitalism.
The report noted, “Francis is now 87 and in poor health, which means his critics will probably have to wait out his papacy while launching barbs from the sidelines. But the war over the future of the church is far from over: The next battle will be over Francis’s successor.”
Just the News noted of the 130 or so “cardinal electors” for the church, Francis has appointed 95, all expected to be of his own liberal ideology.

Former President Donald Trump is more popular with young voters than any other age group.
Generation Z represents those currently between the ages of 18-24.
A recent Harvard CAPS–Harris survey found 57 percent of voters approved of the job Trump did as president, and 41 percent disapproved.
When breaking that approval rating down by age group, a massive 64 percent majority of Gen Z voters approved of the job Trump did as president.

However, the results could be yet another warning sign for President Joe Biden’s reelection hopes. In 2020, young voters were crucial in Biden’s victory, as Generation Z and millennials supported Biden over Trump by margins of about 20 points in the record-breaking turnout, according to analysis by the Pew Research Center.
The age group with the second-highest approval rating of Trump’s presidency in the Harvard CAPS–Harris survey were respondents aged 55 to 64 (60 percent), followed by those aged 25 to 34 and 35 to 44 (both 58 percent).
A separate poll released Monday by Axios-Generation Lab also showed that Biden is only slightly favored over Trump by voters between ages 18 and 34, with 52 percent choosing the president and 48 percent choosing Trump.
One factor the pollsters found is really hurting Biden with younger voters is his staunch support for Israel, according to a report from Axios. Trump has had a nuanced position on the region, repeatedly saying that there would have been peace if he was still the president.
Democrats have traditionally counted on the young vote to swing their way, but times may be changing.

Fani Willis and lover Nathan Wade
Terrence Bradley will take the stand again today in a third hearing to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting the sham election interference case against President Trump after she was accused of misusing funds and having an inappropriate relationship with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Bradley is the former divorce lawyer and law partner of Fani Willis’ lover and Trump prosecution lead, Nathan Wade.
Earlier this month, Willis and Wade were subpoenaed for an evidentiary hearing stemming from a lawsuit filed by Michael Roman, a co-defendant in Trump’s RICO case. Ashleigh Merchant, representing Roman, has accused Willis’ office of “intentionally withholding information.”
The Gateway Pundit reported extensively on the explosive testimony in the previous hearings by Nathan Wade, Fani Willis, and Fani’s ex-Black Panther daddy.
Recall that Terrence Bradley testified on February 15 but claimed that the Georgia Bar Association had advised him not to answer questions due to the application of Rule 1.6 of confidentiality.

Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing the case, has reportedly determined that some communications are not privileged, and Bradley can no longer hide behind “what the person at the Bar told us.”
This comes after damning findings of potential perjury by Fani Willis and Nathan Wade.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Saturday that the attorneys for Trump and Roman geo-tracked Nathan Wade and found that Wade likely made at least 35 visits to Fani’s home BEFORE he was appointed to lead the case. However, they both testified in court that they met at Willis’s home no more than ten times and started a relationship AFTER he was appointed to lead the Trump election interference case.
It was also discovered that Wade and Willis exchanged over 2,000 voice calls and almost 12,000 text messages in the 11 months of January to November 2021 before Nathan Wade was hired.
Their testimony is further contradicted by Robin Yeartie, who worked in Fani Willis’s office and testified in the first hearing that Fani Willis and Nathan Wade started their relationship in 2019 – before Willis assigned Nathan Wade as lead prosecutor in the RICO lawfare case against President Trump.
Atlanta News First reports,
Bradley was called to testify two weeks ago in a court hearing held to determine whether Wade, Willis and her staff should be disqualified from their sprawling RICO case against former President Donald Trump and his allies.
On the stand, Bradley declined to answer questions about the now-acknowledged relationship between Willis and Wade, and said he’d been advised by the State Bar of Georgia not to testify about it, citing attorney-client privilege.
Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee notified attorneys in the case late Monday that some communications between Bradley and Wade are not protected by attorney-client privilege, sources said. McAfee made his decision after a closed-door meeting with Bradley on Monday, the sources confirmed.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a clip on Italian TV brutally mocked Biden, showing the world what they think of his pathetic leadership. Now, they have released a sequel parody.
This new skit opens up with a demented Biden walking like Frankenstein as he approaches the podium on the White House lawn before falling flat on his face. His handlers race to help him to his feet.
Once they help him up, he collapses AGAIN. When asked if he is okay, he grunts, “Yeah.”
After wandering aimlessly for a few seconds, the Biden character attempts to find his way to the podium and walks beside it. He cannot locate the object even after his handlers consistently point it out to him.

After finally discovering the podium, he asks it, “What’s your name? He is still to the side of the object.
After not hearing a response, the Biden character exclaims, “My name is Joe Kennedy!”
His handlers immediately correct him and say the name “Biden.” He responds by giving them a clueless look.
He then turns his back to them and begins to wander off. Biden’s handlers beg him to come back.
When he finally arrives at his original place to the right of the podium, he says, “My Name is Joe Kennedy” again.
Biden’s handlers can only laugh. He gives them another blank look in response.
America is truly a national laughingstock under this clown. This was never the case under President Trump.

On February 20th, Parents Defending Education (PDE) filed a federal civil rights complaint against the largest school district in Denver, Colorado, for allegedly requiring staff to participate in a “Black Excellence” pledge.
The complaint cites an internal memo referencing the pledge and alleges the initiative is backed by the district’s superintendent, school board, and senior leadership.
According to the complaint, the pledge reads in part, “all educators need to understand the prevalence and deep harm whiteness brings to students,” and promises “conversations about racism and white supremacy culture.”
The pledge suggests teachers “dismantle the system that allows certain students to excel and others to perish.”

The complaint was filed with the U.S. Department of Education against Denver Public Schools “for discrimination on the basis of race in programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance in violation of both Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), 42 U.S.C. § 2000d et seq., and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”
The Daily Mail reports:
‘The district should be embarrassed for promoting curricula that exemplifies the ‘deep harm whiteness brings to students’,’ said Caroline Moore, a vice president at PDE.
No student, even those who are white, should go to school and feel ashamed for what they look like. Discrimination is discrimination, end of story.’
