A Salvadoran fugitive with ties to the notorious MS-13 gang and wanted for murder back home was detained by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston in Foxboro on February 19.
This isn’t his first, second, or even third rodeo with U.S. immigration authorities. The 44-year-old has been removed from the United States not once, not twice, but three times before.
According to ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd Lyons, the arrest is a significant achievement in safeguarding the community.
“This unlawfully present fugitive is a member of a violent transnational criminal organization who is wanted for murder in his home country,” said Lyons.
“The people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are safer today now that this fugitive criminal has been arrested. ERO Boston continues to help make our communities safer by our unwavering commitment to protecting public safety every day,” he added.
The Boston Herald has learned that the fugitive is identified as Wilmer Alexy Garcia-Manzanarez, according to a “Red Notice” from INTERPOL, the International Criminal Police Organization headquartered in France, issued at the request of El Salvador. The notice details his charges in Spanish as “Organizaciones terroristas.”
Garcia-Manzanarez initially entered the U.S. illegally across the Canadian border in New York in March 2001 and was served with a notice to appear before an immigration judge. After failing to appear and being ordered removed in absentia in March 2002, he was eventually deported in January 2007 by ERO Phoenix.
In May 2010, Garcia-Manzanarez entered the U.S. again, was arrested in Texas, and was removed a second time in July of that year. His third unlawful entry resulted in another arrest in September 2012 and subsequent removal the following month.
Despite these removals, Garcia-Manzanarez illegally reentered the U.S. and was living in Massachusetts until his most recent arrest by ERO Boston. He is currently in ICE custody pending his removal proceedings. If deported, this would mark his fourth removal.
According to ERO, “In fiscal year 2023, ERO made 170,590 administrative arrests, a 19.5% increase over the previous year. ERO arrested 73,822 noncitizens with a criminal history; those arrested had an average of four charges and convictions per individual, including more than 33,209 charges or convictions for assault, 7,520 for weapons offenses, 1,713 for homicide-related offenses, and 1,615 for kidnapping. Removals also included 3,406 known or suspected gang members, 139 known or suspected terrorists, seven human rights violators, and 108 foreign fugitives wanted by their governments for crimes including homicide, rape, terrorism and kidnapping. Also in fiscal year 2023, ERO conducted 142,580 removals to more than 170 countries worldwide.”

Kilmeade compares Steve Bannon and Matt Gaetz to the communist Squad members.
This guy is unbearable. When was the last time Brian Kilmeade was right side of a political decision?
On Tuesday morning Kilmeade took an indirect swipe at President Trump by attacking Steve Bannon and Rep. Matt Gaetz on FOX and Friends.
Kilmeade compared Steve Bannon and Rep. Gaetz to the communist, anti-American Squad members. Kilmeade finds Bannon, Gaetz and millions of Americans extreme for wanting a secure border, a rational spending plan, and an honest, unbiased Justice system in America.
That was a low blow for this longtime anti-Trump RINO.
Brian Kilmeade: Well, I think both candidates have to realize this, that on the left, if Joe Biden listens to The Squad, he loses. And I think if Donald Trump listens to Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon, he loses. They have to understand that most of the people are not on the extremes. And if you could understand that, you’re going to win. The first one to understand that and does what they think they should do. And now what the extremists are bullying them to do is going to be successful.

The city of Denver has been struggling for weeks now to pay for services for illegal border crossers. Early in February it was announced that the city would start cutting some services for taxpayers, and unsuccessfully tried to blame Republicans.
Now the city is going to start cutting the hours of city employees, in some cases down to zero, in order to keep paying for services for illegals.
This is simply not sustainable and anyone with an ounce of common sense knows it.
City of Denver says it IS NOT laying off employees to pay for the migrant crisis
But the city IS telling hourly employees they may have their hours reduced to zero
For now, It could impact coaches, lifeguards, front desk staff etc. at rec centers
But don’t call them layoffs… pic.twitter.com/ixroZMvdM2

“We’re not laying you off to pay for illegal immigrants, we’re just not giving you any hours…so we can pay for illegals.”

A few days ago, CBS News reported that Parks and Rec services are cutting back over this:
Cuts to Denver Parks & Rec services begin Tuesday with reduced days, hours
Reductions in days and hours at Denver Parks and Rec centers began on Tuesday. Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced the cuts earlier this month.
The cuts in service to Denver Parks and Recreation do not involve layoffs for current employees. However, hourly workers can expect fewer hours, and on-call and seasonal workers will be most impacted.
Beginning Feb. 20, Denver Recreation Centers will begin to reduce hours. Regional Centers open 7 days a week will only be open 6 days a week. Those open 6 days a week will stay open for the same number of days but the hours of operation will be reduced.
Summer Recreation Programming in Denver will be reduced by 25% across the program. The city will also forgo planting annual flower beds this year.
It’s amazing that the taxpayers of Denver are putting up with this. They are the people who pay the bills for the city and they’re getting shafted.

Data obtained by AP VoteCast found that 40 percent of those who voted for Nikki Haley in the South Carolina primary were Democrats who voted for Joe Biden in 2020.
AP VoteCast surveyed over 2,400 voters participating in Saturday’s Republican primary in South Carolina.
The Associated Press found, “About 9 in 10 Trump voters said they were driven by their support for him, not by objections to his opponent. Haley’s voters were much more divided: About half were motivated by supporting her, but nearly as many turned out to oppose Trump.”
The report added, “Who is her coalition? Haley dominated among South Carolina voters who correctly said that Democrat Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election. Roughly three-quarters of her supporters say Biden was legitimately elected president in 2020, and about 4 in 10 voted for Biden in that election. Her problem is that about 6 in 10 Republican primary voters say they believed Biden was not legitimately elected.”

A poll conducted ahead of the Iowa caucuses by NBC News, the Des Moines Register, and Iowa pollster Selzer & Co. had similar results and found that Haley supporters in Iowa were twice as likely to vote for Joe Biden as Donald Trump.
The pollsters asked likely Iowa caucus-goers, “If Donald Trump is the Republican nominee in the general election in November, would you vote for him, vote for Joe Biden, vote for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., or vote for some other third-party candidate?”
Across the board, just 11 percent of Republican caucus-goes across the board said they would flip and vote for Biden if Trump became the nominee. Looking only at Haley supporters, that number jumped to a whopping 43 percent.
Just 23 percent of Haley’s supporters in Iowa said they would vote for Trump over Biden.
In 2019, Haley was elected to Boeing’s board of directors months after leaving her post in the Trump administration. At the time, she had a net worth less than $1 million.
“Post her tenure, reports surfaced that Haley boosted her fortune eight-fold — to $8 million — after leaving the Trump administration,” the New York Post reported at the time.
Soon after, the former UN ambassador purchased a $2.4 million waterfront estate on Kiawah Island.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBP) at the Otay Mesa Commercial Facility found over $3 million worth of cocaine hidden in a shipment of limes on Thursday.
Otay Mesa is in the southern portion of San Diego, just north of the border between the U.S. and Mexico.
According to a CBP press release, “At approximately 11:22 a.m., CBP officers encountered a 42-year-old man driving a commercial tractor-trailer with a shipment manifested as Persian limes. The driver, a valid border crossing card holder, was referred for further examination by CBP officers along with the tractor-trailer and shipment.”
In the secondary inspection area, a K-9 unit alerted officers, prompting them to examine the shipment more closely.
“Upon further examination, CBP officers discovered and extracted a total of 158 suspicious packages,” the press release explained. “The contents of the packages were tested and identified as cocaine with a weight of 435 pounds with an estimated street value of $3,355,800.”
CBP said, “all subjects were turned over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations for further processing. The narcotics, semi-truck, and trailer were seized by CBP officers.”
“Rain or shine are officers work tirelessly to ensure our communities are free of these dangerous drugs,” said Rosa Hernandez, Port Director for the Otay Mesa Port of Entry. “I’m proud of the efforts our officers make day in and day out.”
The cocaine seizure was part of Operation Apollo.
“Operation Apollo is a joint regional operation comprised of federal, state, and local agencies working to combat the threat from fentanyl, and other illicit synthetic narcotics,” CBP said. “More information about Operation Apollo can be found here.”
