As the White House Correspondents’ dinner featured another unfunny comedy act, a disastrous speech by the so-called leader of the free world, and that so-called leader enjoying his dinner like an Alzheimer’s patient at the nursing home, take a moment to remember last year’s annual event, Joe Biden laughed hysterically at Americans struggling to afford everyday goods.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost was the designated “comedian” for the White House Correspondent’s Association dinner on Saturday. After “roasting” Trump and Biden with a series of tame and not-particularly-funny quips, Jost launched into an emotional tirade about his late grandfather, he began slobbering over Biden’s supposed “decency.”
Biden later slurred as he openly joked about spearheading prosecutions against his main political opponent Donald Trump. Such decency!
In 2022, former Daily Show host Trevor Noah hosted a similarly pathetic comedy performance, and Biden, during his speech that year, called President Trump “a horrible plague.”
The most viral moment from the show went like this:
Noah: I think ever since you’ve come into office, things are really looking up. Gas is up, rent is up, food is up, everything.
The DC elites, journalists, and Joe Biden roared at the not-particularly-funny joke while Americans suffered Bidenflation under Bidenomics.
It was true that everything was — and still is — going up under Joe Biden, but one thing continues going downhill fast: Biden’s mental health.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Joe Biden Saturday evening stayed up past his bedtime to deliver remarks at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner with Hollywood elitists.
Biden struggled to eat his food. He isn’t used to eating solid food and feeding himself. Saturday night’s dinner was different than his usual pureed food spoon-fed to him.
He appeared confused as he pushed the salad around on his plate and got distracted by a dinner roll. Biden struggled to break the bread roll and barely got his fork to his mouth.
He also smeared Trump and repeated the debunked “bloodbath” hoax.

Joe Biden is officially the least popular president in 70 years, with an approval rating of just 38.7 percent, according to a Gallup Poll released Friday.
No first-term president in the poll’s history has been reelected with an approval rating this low.
“With about six months remaining before Election Day, Biden stands in a weaker position than any prior incumbent,” the pollsters determined.
Biden’s challenger for the White House, former President Donald Trump, had a 46.8 percent approval rating at the same point in his presidency.
Approval ratings at this point in their presidencies for the last 70 years were as follows:
Dwight D. Eisenhower (1956): 73.2%
Ronald Reagan (1984): 54.5%
Richard Nixon (1972): 53.7%
Bill Clinton (1996): 53.0%
George W. Bush (2004): 51.0%
Jimmy Carter (1980): 47.7%
Donald Trump (2020): 46.8%
Barack Obama (2012): 45.9%
George H.W. Bush (1992): 41.8%
Joe Biden (2024): 38.7%
The New York Post reports:
Even Nixon and Carter had higher ratings than Biden, with 53.7% and 47.7%, respectively, and Eisenhower had the highest rating at 72.3%, according to the poll.
The results of Gallup’s presidential approval polls, which the organization has compiled since the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower began in 1952, have been strongly predictive of re-election success.
Historically, every incumbent in the past seven decades with an approval rating above 50% has won a second term. Only Barack Obama bucked the trend: his 2012 victory came despite a middling 46% approval six months ahead of that year’s general election.
No first-term president in Gallup’s history has returned to the White House with approval numbers as low as Biden’s — whose results this quarter ranked among the worst of the post-World War II era, in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters going back to 1945.
Gallup surveyed 1,001 Americans from April 1 to April 22. The results have a 4-point margin of error.

Matthew Lathers
Update: Matthew Lathers was fatally shot by an officer.
Three Kenner, Louisiana police officers were shot in a standoff with a suspect who shot two other people on Sunday.
The wounded officers were taken to a hospital. They are in stable condition.
The two victims are in critical condition.
According to NOLA.com, officers got into a standoff with 31-year-old Matthew Lathers.
Lathers was wanted for attempted murder and armed robbery. He critically injured a man in a shooting on Tuesday in Kenner. According to WVUE, Lathers has a long rap sheet and was convicted of armed robbery back in 2012.
Police had been searching for Lathers since Tuesday after he shot a 56-year-old man. According to NOLA, police received a call around 9:45 am on Sunday where they had a standoff with Lathers.
The SWAT team was on the scene at the home on Farm Avenue and Kenner Avenue. Neighbors heard flashbangs and several exchanges of gunfire.
Update: Lathers was fatally shot by a Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy according to ABC News.

Three Louisiana police officers were wounded by gunfire Sunday in a standoff with a man suspected of shooting three other people in the past week, authorities said.
The injured officers were taken to a hospital after being shot Sunday morning at a home in Kenner, about 15 miles (24 kilometers) west of New Orleans, Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley said. Their conditions were not immediately known.
SWAT team officers were still outside the home Sunday afternoon, The Times-Picayune/The New Orleans Advocate reported. No arrests had been announced.

Democrat Senator Tim Kaine was on NBCs “Meet the Press” with moderator Kristen Welker on Sunday to discuss the chaos on college campuses.
“He (Speaker Mike Johnson) said that the National Guard should be called in. Is that something you would support?” Welker asked Senator Kaine.
“I think that would be a very, very bad idea. I think there are other ways, using campus security, but also again, offering students more opportunity to have dialogue that is civil and constructive where people hear one another,” Kaine said.

Although civility is always preferrable, the agitators on many of these college campuses pose a threat to people’s safety in addition to interrupting the learning process.

“Do you think the Biden administration, the President has a role to play in this moment in addressing what we are seeing on these college campuses,” Welker asked.
“People have a right to protest and make their views known and almost you know overwhelming percentages of people do that peacefully. But there are those that intimidate and harass others,” Kaine continued.
“Hold up some examples of colleges in the country and I think there are a number of them, where discussions about difficult topics, like Israel and Gaza are happening but happening in a way that really can be a model where people can express their points of view,” Kaine said regarding Biden administration’s role.

Despite Senator Kaine’s claim that the “overwhelming percentages” of protestors are peaceful, the actions of those on many college campuses say otherwise.
The police on the campus of ASU were tearing down tents put up by agitators last week.

The Biden regime is all smoke and mirrors.
OnlyFans content creator Farha Khalidi has made waves after claiming on a podcast that she created “political propaganda” ads for the Biden regime on TikTok.
During the interview with political science researcher Richard Hanania on his podcast, Khalidi opened up about her entry into the world of online revenue through TikTok and OnlyFans.
“So you were in school — you were still in college when you started as a TikTok person, right? Or did you start OnlyFans when you were in school, too?” Hanania asked.
“No, I started TikTok, like, the spring semester of my senior year and I was like, ‘F—k, I finally have to start applying for law school,’ and then, like, you know, female privilege: ‘life so easy for a woman.’ Obviously, I lucked out. No, I’m just kidding.”
“[But] I lucked out and then TikTok was basically full-time for me. Like, I was taking ads by the time I graduated college from, like, the Biden administration, Planned Parenthood and, like, dating apps and stuff. So it was, like, fully financially sustaining me,” Khalidi said.
When Hanania pressed Khalidi about her claim of making money from the Biden regime, she openly admitted to creating “political propaganda” content.
“Yeah, I was doing full-on political propaganda,” Khalidi stated during the podcast.
Khalidi recounted being approached to promote then-Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, highlighting her identity as a “brown person” following her nomination to the high court by Biden.
“Yeah, honestly. The funny thing is they’re, like, ‘Do not disclose this as an ad’ because they [were], like, ‘Technically, it’s not a product, so you don’t have to disclose it’s an ad.’ Because I think they just wanted, like, some edgy girl of color to just tell people — like when they nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson, they’re, like, ‘Can you say ‘as a person of color,’ you know, that you feel ‘reflected?’”
“It’s, like, a White woman emailing this and she’s giving me this script. And I’m, like, ‘No,’ and she’s like, ‘Please,’ and I’m like, ‘No.’ I’ll talk about the news of it, but I’m not gonna be like — I’m not gonna have a White person tell me to be, like, ‘This is how I feel as a person of color.’ It’s just so — I think that black-pilled me slightly on political propaganda,” she added.
Despite these claims, Khalidi later clarified that a third-party media company was the conduit through which the Biden administration operated.
It’s ironic that a recipient of 81 million votes has to pay people for support.

How many influencers did the Biden administration pay to push their propaganda?
TikTok influencer and de facto Biden spokesperson Harry Sisson was also paid to promote the administration’s messaging.
According to recently uncovered Federal Election Commission data, the Democratic National Committee / DNC Services Corp made payments totalling $210,000 to a social media talent management agency called Palette Media.
Palette Media manages over 60 social media influencers across various platforms including many of the young “activists” with the liberal organization “genzforchange.” This agency also represents two of the largest democratic social media content creators on tiktok, Harry Sisson and Chris Mowrey.
