Judge Juan Merchan on Thursday afternoon said he will consider four new Trump gag order violations as he weighs whether to hold the former president in contempt.
Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s prosecutors last Thursday claimed Trump violated the court’s gag order ‘seven more times.’
Bragg’s office on Monday asked the court to impose a $1,000 sanction for each of the 3 prior Truth Social posts, order Trump to take them down, and warn him that further violations would result in jail time.
The DA’s office was referring to was related to a New York Post article bashing Michael Cohen as a “serial perjurer.”
Last Thursday, prosecutors claimed Trump violated the gag order seven more times since Monday when he quoted Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Judge Merchan held a hearing on the so-called gag order violations this week but he held off on issuing a ruling.
A new hearing on the gag order violations was scheduled for May 1.

Judge Juan Merchan said he signed the order to show cause regarding four new violations of a gag order for former President Donald Trump.
He signed the order to show cause from the district attorney for the first 10 violations, too.
This means he will hear the additional four violations they have now added. He hasn’t made a decision yet or held Trump in contempt.
Trump blasted the judge this week as the ‘hush money’ trial played out in a Manhattan court.
“The Gag Order imposed on me, a political candidate running for the highest office in the land, is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Nothing like this has ever happened before. The Conflicted Judge’s friends and party members can say whatever they want about me, but I am not allowed to respond. The Trial is Rigged and should never have been allowed to take place on a charge that virtually every legal scholar and expert say is bogus, THERE IS NO CRIME. This is a Political Witch Hunt – ELECTION INTERFERENCE!” Trump said on Truth Social.

Globalist poster boy, and former Rothschild banker, French President Emmanuel Macron can be rightfully credited as one of the main architects of the decadence of Europe, by accepting and amplifying the failed, crippling policies emanating from Brussels, such as abortion and euthanasia, unchecked mass migration and climate alarmism, to name but a few.
Now, as his party is headed for a crushing defeat in the upcoming European elections, Macron tries to pass himself as a voice for the salvation of the old continent.
He has given what he believes to be a landmark speech, saying that Europe ‘must rise to the challenges of a changed world and scale up its defense’.
He further warned that the EU was ‘not sufficiently armed’ to take on global threats such as Russia’s war in Ukraine.
France24 reported:
“‘Our Europe today is mortal and it can die’, said Macron. ‘It can die and this depends only on our choices’, he noted. ‘We need to build this strategic concept of a credible European defense for ourselves’.”
Macron says an ‘uninhibited’ Russia has no longer any clear limits, while also criticizing the disrespect of global trade rules, calling on the European Union to ‘revise its trade policy’.
“‘Our Europe, today, is mortal and it can die. It can die and this depends only on our choices’, said Macron, warning that Europe was ‘not armed against the risks we face’ in a world where the ‘rules of the game have changed’.”
Macron called for ‘European sovereignty’, with an autonomy in defense and the economy.
“‘How can we build our sovereignty, our autonomy, if we don’t assume the responsibility of developing our own European defense industry?’ he asked. Europe ‘must show that it is never a vassal of the United States and that it also knows how to talk to all the other regions of the world’, he said.”
Macron pretends to be a voice for European salvation.
Europe needs cyber defense and cybersecurity capabilities, he added.
A ‘revision’ of EU trade policy is needed, since China and the US are ‘no longer respecting the rules of global commerce’.
“Macron’s speech comes as his party is facing embarrassment in June European Parliament elections, ranking well behind the far right in opinion polls and even risking finishing third behind the Socialists, and as the EU is drawing up its new strategic agenda for 2024-2029.”
Macron’s centrist coalition are polling much lower than Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN), while the Socialists are now vying for second place.
RN will call for parliament to be dissolved if Macron’s Renaissance party and its allies suffer a crushing defeat.

You just can’t make this stuff up.
Joe Biden on Friday morning called into “The Howard Stern Show” in an unannounced appearance on the far-left shock jock’s SiriusXM show.
“I think I should leave now,” Biden joked as Howard Stern slobbered all over him.
“I know everyone’s going to think I’m doing a fake interview with you, but you are really here,” Stern said.
The live interview went sideways after Joe Biden absurdly claimed he “got arrested standing on a porch with a black family” during the civil rights movement.
Biden recounted a conversation with his mother: “She said Joey, remember – true story – remember when they were desegregating… the neighborhood, you know, 70 homes built…and there was a black family moving in and people were down there protesting. I told you not to go down there and you went down. Remember that? And you came and got arrested for standing on the porch with a black family and they brought you back, the police? I said, yeah mom, I remember that!”
This is why Biden’s handlers do not allow him to do live interviews.

Of course, this conversation never happened. Biden was never arrested for standing on a porch with a black family.
This is one of Biden’s favorite lies (he has many).
The Washington Post did a fact-check on this dubious story and concluded there is no evidence to back up Biden’s claim he was arrested on the porch.
Biden never participated in the civil rights movement. He has told a version of this lie many times.
This lie has been repeatedly debunked.
In 1987, Joe Biden falsely claimed he marched in the civil rights movement and eventually dropped out of the presidential race.

Joe Biden granted clemency to 16 criminals on Wednesday, with 11 individuals being granted pardons and five commutations.
The majority of the individuals granted pardons were convicted of drug offenses such as distributing cocaine and having possession of hard drugs.

Leshay Nicole Rhoton of Bristol, Tennessee. Offense: “Conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute 280 grams or more of cocaine base and 5 kilograms or more of cocaine.”
Margaret Ann Vandyke of Ellenville, New York. Offense: Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance (crack cocaine)
Jason Hernandez of McKinney, Texas. Offense: “Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances; possession with intent to distribute cocaine base (two counts); possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, methamphetamine; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine/cocaine hydrochloride; distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.”

President Joe Biden has granted clemency to 16 people who were convicted of non-violent drug crimes, issuing pardons to 11 men and women and commuting the sentences of five other people in the latest use of his clemency power to address racial disparities in the justice system.
Biden said in a statement Wednesday that April is Second Chance Month and that many of the individuals getting clemency had received “disproportionately longer” sentences than they would have under current law.
The Democratic president is campaigning for reelection in November and is grappling with how to boost support from communities of color that heavily supported him over Republican Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The two rivals are headed for a likely rematch in November.

The Utah State GOP Nominating Convention will be held on Saturday, where State GOP Delegates will decide who is eligible for the June primary and the November general election.
Trent Christensen told The Gateway Pundit, “One Day 1, my administration will begin an investigation into every aspect of Utah’s electoral system. We will look into the ballots and the mail-in ballots; we will test the voting machines; we will interview the country clerks and their staffs; we will investigate the voter rolls. We will also work with the State Legislature to change the laws as needed and ensure that Utah’s elections are, in fact, the safest and most secure elections in the country.”

The tactics currently being used against President Trump—arresting and indicting him, and his lawyers, and his advisors, and his supporters, etc.—show the desperation of the left. But it would be a mistake to think those tactics are reserved only for the liberal left in the D.C. Swamp. The cowardly tactics of personal destruction used to win elections at all costs have spread, and are being used now even by those who claim to be on the right.
It’s happening here in “red state” Utah.
Last year, a coordinated attack was made against our Attorney General. It was a two-sided attack, with open, brazen, and spurious legal actions taken against him on the one hand; and,additional threats of ongoing attacks against him and his office being made behind closed doors. Now, after the Attorney General declined to run for re-election, some would want to brush this under the rug and move on. I, for one, believe that the fight is far from over.
The Republican State Convention happens this Saturday, April 27, where the Republican State Delegates will make their voices heard. This will not be a normal convention—it’s impact will have national ramifications. The votes of the delegates will not only decide who advances to the Primary, their voices will demonstrate whether the same tactics being used against our former (and hopefully future) President will be condoned here in Utah.
Will we allow it? The lawfare and the intimidation? Will we bow to the pressure and the propaganda, slick ads paid for by those who prefer the Governor have a hand-picked Attorney General, rather than a check against his power and an ally to President Trump?
Or will we stand up and vote to drain the Salt Lake Swamp, to save both our state and our country?
Make no mistake, our new Attorney General must be willing and ready to stand up and fight alongside President Trump. Utah has critical issues that the next Attorney General must contend with, issues with Utah’s election integrity, supporting law enforcement, securing Utah’s borderfrom the invasion of illegal aliens, crushing the fentanyl trade, fighting to protect and reclaim our lands from the federal government, and many others.
At the same time, President Trump will need the support of those Attorneys General who will actively, and gladly, push back on all the liberal, unconstitutional, and oftentimes insane policies enacted over the last four years. We have several such Attorneys General already around the country. We need more.
President Trump will only have four more years to enact his America First agenda, and to dismantle the liberal policies currently destroying this country. I am ready to fight this fight with him on Day 1. Sign me up, and let’s Make Utah and America Great Again!
