The Libertarian Party has chosen 38-year-old Chase Oliver as its 2024 presidential nominee.
An openly gay former Democrat who once supported Barack Obama, Oliver used his victory speech to rail against the U.S. “war machine” and demand an end to the “genocide in Gaza,” according to the Washington Examiner.
After author Michael Rectenwald was eliminated from the race during Sunday night’s voting, the final vote was between Oliver and “none of the above,” in which he ultimately prevailed with around 60 percent support. He announced economist Mike ter Maat as his running mate.

Politico reports:
Oliver — who is aligned with a more traditionalist faction of the Libertarian Party, the Classical Liberal Caucus — clinched the nomination after almost 8 hours and seven rounds of voting. He defeated a more hard-line Mises Caucus candidate by less than 1 percent in the penultimate round of voting, before delegates were asked to choose between Oliver and no candidate.

Oliver said his foray into politics came as an anti-war protester in the early 2000s, and that he plans to target young voters angry about the Israel-Hamas war on college campuses, Twitch and TikTok.
“We were looking at who are the most likely populations to be ready to go outside of the two-party system, and we’ve identified young people, and in particular, those who are upset with the war going on in Gaza, upset with the immigration crisis, and upset with cost of living,” Oliver said. “Those are the young people that we’re going to target.”
Also on the ballot was independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr, although he was eliminated druing the first round of voting.
If Oliver had not been selected, the party would have faced difficulties getting a candidate on the ballot in November’s presidential election.
A former sales and HR executive, Oliver was a relatively obscure figure until his unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia in 2022, when he won just two per cent of the vote.
According to his website, Oliver’s policies include open borders, promotion of gun rights, decriminlizaing drugs, low taxation and opposition to all U.S. involvement in foreign wars.

At today’s Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, President Trump met with Gold Star military families who were guests of the event this Memorial Day weekend.

Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee, 23, was one of thirteen U.S. service members killed at Kabul Airport during the chaotic 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal and Joe Biden’s surrender to the Taliban.
On Sunday, Christy Shamblin, the mother-in-law of US Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee told CNN that Joe Biden has never called to console the family after their daughter died in the Kabul blast.

James Carville blasted Democrats for focusing on Gaza and ignoring the economy.
“We keep wondering why these young people are not coming home to the Democrats. Why are blacks not coming home to the Democrats? Because Democrat messaging is full of shit, that’s why,” Carville said.
“Talk about cost of living, and ‘we’re going to help deal with this.’ Don’t talk about f*cking Gaza and student loans!” Carville said.

Last month James Carville threatened young voters.

As New York is completely overrun with illegals from Biden’s invasion, Mayor Eric Adams is reportedly working with ICE to “get around” sanctuary city laws that protect violent illegal alien criminals.
It was reported today that multiple illegals have stabbed each other to death in New York City’s taxpayer-funded shelters.
The New York Post reported,
A migrant was stabbed to death on Sunday morning after getting into an argument with another man outside the East Harlem migrant shelter where they both lived, police said.
The 29-year-old victim got into a dispute with a fellow migrant, 30, when he was stabbed in the chest at around 4:02 a.m. on Third Avenue and East 97th Street, New York City police said.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
This isn’t the first time a dispute broke out into a fatal stabbing at one of the new migrant shelters in the city, with another man stabbed to death on Jan. 7 at the nearby Randall’s Island shelter.
Per the report, police have installed security cameras around the illegal immigrant shelters as the number of violent incidents grew.
These are the violent people that Biden is mass importing into the United States to a neighborhood near you.

This came after Governor Kathy Hochul proudly announced that the New York State Department of Labor is working with nearly 400 employers across the state to put illegals ahead of Americans. The campaign to spread the news and fill a “critical role” across the state would provide opportunities to help asylum seekers and migrants who have obtained work authorizations find employment.
New York will help dangerous illegals, but New Yorkers are on their own with rampant crime, rising taxes, and a fleeing population.
After Trump’s MASSIVE rally in the Bronx and surging support in minority communities, the millions of illegal immigrants and illegal voters are the Democrats’ only hope for another “win” in 2024.
However, according to the New York Post, it’s gotten so bad that Mayor Eric Adams is trying to help ICE bypass MYC’s sanctuary city laws.
“The Adams administration has been working with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to work around New York City’s strict sanctuary city laws — which a top ICE official said have been hamstringing the federal agency’s efforts to remove violent criminals,” the Post reported. “City Council sources confirmed this, telling The Post on Sunday that the two sides have talked about how to possibly amend city laws that prevent any and all coordination between local and federal law enforcement.”
