Mohamed was convicted of felony burglary in 2008. Court records show he had an active warrant for his arrest.

Mohamed was convicted on federal charges in 2016 of being a felon in possession of ammunition, according to court records.

The shooting took place at an apartment complex and two additional people were injured.  As a result of multiple gunshot wounds, Mitchell, 32, passed away.

An additional person was wounded after being shot outside the apartment complex.

As police were responding to the shooting, Mitchell was ambushed while trying to help a potential victim.

“What I can tell you is that Officer Mitchell was attempting to assist the individual that shot him,” BCA Superintendent Drew Evans said at a press conference Thursday night.

As a result of the shooting, both an officer and a firefighter were injured. They have since been discharged from the hospital.

A 70-year-old transgender LGBTQ activist from the United Kingdom stands accused of murdering his husband in an unusual fashion.

Police say that Joanna Rowland-Stuart, a biological male who identifies as female, killed his husband, Andrew, at their home in Brighton Monday evening. The BBC reported that he appeared before magistrates in Crawley on Friday.

Rowland-Stuart, who claims he’s deaf, confirmed his identity through a sign language interpreter after being arrested according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail reported that emergency services responded to an incident at the 15th-floor flat on Lavender Street in Brighton at approximately 7:30 PM on Monday, May 27. Police officers discovered Andrew dead at the scene.

The officers revealed that Andrew was killed by a samurai sword, not exactly an ordinary weapon of choice. It is not known at this point whether the suspect is a fan of Japanese culture.

Detective Chief Inspector Alex Campbell of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, released the following statement in response to the incident:

This is a fast-moving investigation, and our inquiries are ongoing as we seek to establish the full circumstances which led to Andrew’s tragic death.

Our thoughts remain with his loved ones at this difficult time.

In the meantime, we are urging the public not to speculate, but to come forward with any information which may be able to assist us.

Sussex Police have also asked individuals with information on the incident to contact their Major Incident Portal or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously.

The Mail reports Rowland-Stuart has been ordered to appear again in Crown Court on June 3.

GOP Rep. Calls on RNC To Move Convention and Nominate Trump on July 4th – A Week Before Deranged Judge Merchan’s Sentencing (VIDEO)

GOP Rep. Calls on RNC To Move Convention and Nominate Trump on July 4th – A Week Before Deranged Judge Merchan’s Sentencing (VIDEO)

Republican representative Cory Mills (R-FL) is calling on the RNC to move its convention dates to early July so that President Donald Trump can be nominated on July 4th, Independence Day, before communist New York Judge Juan Merchan’s sentencing scheduled for July 11th in the junk lawfare case against the Republican presidential nominee.

Representative Mills floated the idea on Maria Bartiromo’s morning show on Friday.

Maria Bartiromo: “What are they so afraid of? Why are they so afraid of Trump?”

Rep. Cory Mills: “Well, because they know that he can win and he’s gonna take back the presidency and he’s gonna change the corruption in the deep state. He knows that the deep police state, just like when they tried to hire 87,000 armed IRS agents, they’re trying to increase their powers and try to violate our constitutional rights and liberties… the rest of the left and the rest of the deep state knows he’s going to clean house…

…I think about it this way. I think that we, as the Republican Party, first off, to poke them in the eye, we should go ahead and move our GOP conference and elect President Trump as our nominee on July fourth. We know they’re trying to prevent him from coming to the actual GOP gathering, so we should go ahead and start looking at that. But we have to start stepping up our efforts, Maria…

…I’m just sick and tired of this whole thing about one more hearing. I’m going to beat the horse here, but one more hearing, one more piece of evidence, one more this, one more that. We have to start getting accountability, and we can’t just continue to sit on our laurels and say, ‘Oh, well, were the actual party of the role of law. We’re the party of process.’

Look, we have more than enough to continue to move forward. We need to launch investigations. We need to follow the money, find the facts. That’s what this is all about. We have to ensure that something like this never happens again because the precedents that are being set by the left is that no one is safe, that you are guilty until proven innocent, not the other way around, and that they can continue to do this kangaroo-style court and this third-party banana republic where you’re just going to be guilty because we say you’re guilty as a political operative.

Maria Bartiromo: I saw this somewhere else and I just want to reiterate what you just said. Are you saying that you’re proposing moving the Republican National Convention to July 4th, as opposed to July 15th? Is that what you just said?”

Rep. Cory Mills: “That’s exactly what I’m saying. If they’re going to try to do a sentencing on the 11th, which I know will hold him up, I say we bring President Trump, we move it and we elect him as our nominee on July 4th, Independence Day, and we start moving forward. I think that’s a symbolic measure and I think it tells them exactly where we’re at as America.”

This is a brilliant suggestion by Rep. Mills.

Republicans must act. No more weak word games.

Failure to Launch: Boeing’s First Manned Space Flight Aborted at Last Minute Due to Unidentified “Problem” (VIDEO)

Boeing’s extensive incompetence extends beyond their garbage planes and into their spacecraft.

As CBS News reported, Boeing’s Starliner was within minutes of blasting off into space Saturday afternoon before a countdown computer detected a “problem” that triggered the last-minute reversal.

Had the launch been successful, it would have marked a historic first astronaut flight for Boeing.

The next attempted launch will take place no earlier than tomorrow, according to the outlet.

CBS News reported:

The countdown appeared to be ticking smoothly toward a planned launch at 12:25 p.m. EDT. But 10 seconds after the countdown came out of a planned hold at the T-minus 4-minute mark, the clocks suddenly stopped ticking.

An unplanned hold in the countdown of a spacecraft bound for the International Space Station means the launch will be delayed at least 24 hours to enable another opportunity to rendezvous with a target moving at nearly five miles per second.

Below is the full video of the aborted launch.

WATCH:

It’s unclear at this point what caused the issue, but CBS News revealed that NASA claimed “the GLS (Ground Launch Sequencer) did not load the proper configuration files when the countdown resumed.”

The outlet speculates that this could mean a software issue.

This was not the first time the Starliner had failed to take off as expected. CBS notes that back on May 6, The Starliner’s crew, commander Barry “Butch” Wilmore and co-pilot Sunita Williams, came within about two hours of launch on May 6. However they were foiled due to problems with a pressure relief valve in their Atlas 5 rocket and a helium leak in the capsule’s propulsion module.

The problems were resolved and a launch appeared on track Saturday despite a few snags before being called off.
