The adult son of an Israeli diplomat has accepted a plea deal and avoided jail time after being accused of purposefully running over a Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, police officer on his motorcycle.

Avraham Gil, 19, hit a police lieutenant who was conducting a traffic stop in January, and his lawyer claimed that he was protected under “diplomatic immunity.”

Avraham is the son of Eli Gil, a diplomat at the Israeli consulate in Miami.

Last Wednesday, it was announced that Gil had completed the plea deal terms and would be going to Israel that evening to serve in the Israeli military.

The sweetheart deal included a $500 donation to a hospital, 100 hours of community service, and traffic school.

The Miami Herald reports:

Late last month, after writing a letter to injured Sunny Isles Beach Police Officer Ruben Zamora that was filled with apologies and lessons learned, Avraham Gil told the court that after his “significant wake-up call,” he’d decided to actively serve in Israel’s military.

The state then agreed to an unusually lean punishment — no prison time if Gil attended traffic school, completed 100 hours of community service, agreed not to drive and donated $500 to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

After learning he’d completed the requirements Wednesday, Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Teresa Pooler sent Gil on his way. His attorney Stephen Millan told the judge the family’s visa was set to expire by the end of the month and that they were heading back to Israel after the hearing.

Gil was crying and red-eyed in his mug shot and had originally been charged with two felonies.

The Tribune report added:

It also turned out Gil’s late January confrontation with the Sunny Isles police officer wasn’t his first brush with the law. A month earlier on New Year’s Eve, he was stopped by a Miami Shores police officer, also for allegedly speeding and careening in-and-out of traffic.

The officer said Gil had a cover over his diplomatic license plate that read “PLS CHASE.” The officer eventually let him go after learning of the teen’s father’s job with the Israeli consulate general’s office in Miami. Earlier, Miami Police said they also spotted Gil dangerously racing down Biscayne Boulevard. But they gave up the chase as a precaution.

Turkish strongman Reccip Tayyip Erdogan has suggested that he could invade Israel in order to protect the rights of Palestinians suffering under the country’s war against Hamas.

Addressing members of his ruling Justice and Development Party in the Black Sea city of Rize where he grew up, Erdogan appeared to threaten the possibility of military action against the Israeli state.

“We should be very strong, so that Israel cannot do this stuff to Palestine,” Erdogan said.

“Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we can do similar to them,” he continued, a reference to his invasion of neighboring Armenia back in 2021.

“There is no reason not to do it,” he added. “We must be strong to take these steps.”

Erdogan has long been a staunch opponent of Israel, accusing its military of genocide in Gaza. He has previously compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler and described him as both a “psychopath” and a “vampire.”

Turkey broke off all diplomatic relations with Israel in the early months of the war and has also halted all trade with its Middle Eastern neighbor.

However, Erdogan has never previously gone so far as to propose a military intervention, a move that would inevitably escalate diplomatic tensions and may even lead to a third world war.

Posting on the X platform after his remarks, Turkey’s communications minister Fahrettin Altun attempted to play down Erdogan’s remarks, claiming that his boss had “devoted his life to fighting injustice and cruelty.”

“Our message to Israel is clear: Stop the genocide and accept Palestinian sovereignty if you want lasting peace and security,” he wrote.

“The Israeli leaders are condemning their own people to perpetual war,” he continued. “Their attempts to hide this fact by manipulating public opinion will not work. You cannot hide your war crimes by targeting our leader.”

Joe Biden landed in Austin, Texas on Monday afternoon ahead of remarks at the 60th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act during a visit to the LBJ Presidential Library.

Reporters shouted questions as Biden stood on the tarmac.

One reporter asked Joe Biden about House Speaker Mike Johnson’s “dead on arrival” comment about his push to reform the US Supreme Court.

Joe Biden proposed a radical overhaul to the US Supreme Court – an equal and separate branch of government.

Biden and Harris want to expand and pack the Supreme Court with radical Marxists.

Speaker Johnson blasted Joe Biden and said, “This dangerous gambit of the Biden-Harris Administration is dead on arrival in the House.”

Biden appeared to threaten Speaker Johnson.

“Speaker Johnson said it’s dead on arrival,” a reporter said to Biden.

Biden replied, “That’s what he is.”

The reporter asked for clarification: “That he is?”

Biden hit Johnson with a threat: “He is. Dead on arrival.”

Kamala Harris has a Jeremiah Wright-type problem as she is about to become the Democratic Nominee for President.

As Fox News reported, her pastor, Rev. Amos Brown of Third Baptist Church in San Francisco, is on record as blaming the United States of America for the 9/11 attacks and supports slave reparations.

Just days after radical Islamist terrorists attacked our nation, Rev. Brown used a Day of Remembrance event to say it was all America’s fault.

“America, America, what did you do – either intentionally or unintentionally – in the world order, in Central America, in Africa where bombs are still blasting?” Brown asked.

“America, what did you do in the global warming conference when you did not embrace the smaller nations?” he continued. “America, what did you do two weeks ago when I stood at the world conference on racism, when you wouldn’t show up?”

His sick remarks sparked outrage and even angered Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who criticized him afterward.

“The act of terrorism on Sept. 11 put those people outside the order of civilized behavior, and we will not take responsibility for that,” Pelosi stated.

These disgusting comments bring to mind what Barack Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United Church of Christ, who infamously bellowed “God D*mn America,” said about the United States in a sermon five days after the worst attack in American history.

“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye,” Rev. Wright told his congregation.

“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” he continued.

In addition to Brown’s 9/11 comments, Breitbart revealed that he served as a vice chair of California’s Reparations Task Force.

Below is his biography highlighting his “expertise” from the Reparations Task Force website:

The final report stated that “160 years after the abolition of slavery, its badges and lingering negative effects of the incidents remain embedded in the political, legal, health, institution of slavery on descendants financial, educational, cultural, environmental, social, and of persons enslaved in the United economic systems of the United States of America.”

The report went on to claim “this system of white supremacy is a badge of slavery and continues to be embedded today in numerous American and Californian legal and social systems,” and urged California to create a “state reparations statute or program.”

Despite Brown’s past comments and radical views, Fox News notes Harris has lavished her pastor with praise on multiple occasions.

“I just want to, if you don’t mind for a moment, take a moment of personal privilege to talk about Dr. Brown. He has been on this journey with me every step of the way, from when I first thought about running for public office almost two decades ago,” Harris said during the 2022 NAACP National Convention. “And he has been such a voice of leadership, more leadership, and leadership in our nation. And so I want to thank you, Dr. Brown, for all that you are – all that you are.”

Harris’s gushing over her pastor continued at the annual session of the National Baptist Convention, USA in 2022.

“For two decades now, at least, I have turned to you,” Harris stated. “I have turned to him. And I will say that your wisdom has really guided me and grounded me during some of the most difficult times. And – and you have been a source of inspiration to me always. So thank you, Rev. Brown, for being all that you are.”

Harris even posted a photo of her with Rev. Brown on Instagram last year, bragging about what an “honor” it was to spend time with him and that he will “always” remain an inspiration to her.

“It is always an honor to spend time with my pastor, Rev. Dr. Amos Brown of the Third Baptist Church of San Francisco,” she wrote. “He remains a source of inspiration to me always.”

Whether this disturbing revelation will become a potential headache for Harris remains to be seen.
