President Joe Biden’s terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad week since the presidential debate is getting worse.

As if the open panic among Democratic politicians and pundits about Biden’s disastrous performance Thursday weren’t enough, polling results leaked Tuesday to the digital news outlet Puck show he has done more than lose ground in swing states.

Now, even states considered Democratic strongholds are in play, according to a memo from a polling firm influential in Democratic circles.

The memo, reported by veteran political journalist and former CNN correspondent Peter Hamby, came from the progressive polling group OpenLabs.

The nonprofit OpenLabs “conducts polling and message-testing for a constellation of Democratic groups, including the 501(c)4 nonprofit associated with Future Forward, the preferred Super PAC for Biden’s reelection campaign,” Hamby wrote.

But its news about polling in the 72 hours after the Atlanta debate could not have been comforting for the Biden team.

It found that 40 percent of voters who supported him in 2020 now think he should withdraw from this year’s race, Hamby wrote. An OpenLabs poll in May had that number at only 25 percent, according to Hamby.

Hamby offered a caveat about the results but also noted that OpenLabs carries weight among Democratic strategists.

“This is, of course, only a single poll, conducted during the initial aftershocks of the debate. It will take a few weeks to determine if Biden’s slippage in the polls is a trend and not a blip,” he wrote. “But given their reputation inside the party and connections to Future Forward, OpenLabs is a firm that Democratic campaigns take seriously.”

The poll found Biden’s support in the swing states that will decide the November election badly dented by the debate.

“In the tipping-point state of Pennsylvania, Biden now trails by 7 points, compared to 5 points before the debate,” Hamby wrote. “He has also dropped in Michigan, where he now trails Trump by 7. OpenLabs also found that he is now losing by roughly 10 points in Georgia and Arizona, and by almost 9 points in Nevada.”

By itself, that points to disaster for Democrats, but data Hamby reported about states that might have been thought to be safely in the blue column should have even Jill Biden paying attention.

“Biden is now only winning by a fraction of a point in Virginia, Maine, Minnesota, and New Mexico — and he’s now only winning Colorado by around 2 points,” Hamby wrote.

All of that is likely to only increase the clamor among some Democrats to find a way to get Biden to withdraw from the race and for the party to find a new standard-bearer to battle the presumptive GOP nominee, former President Donald Trump.

In the immediate aftermath of Thursday’s debate, even the reliably left-leaning talking heads on CNN and MSNBC were rattled by Biden’s performance.

In the days since, even the most left-leaning establishment media outlets have been forced to cover Democratic unease about the president going into November.

And Tuesday, Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett became the first congressional Democrat to declare that Biden should follow the example set by President Lyndon Johnson in 1968 and withdraw from the race.

Texas is solidly red, of course, and Doggett’s words weren’t likely to change anything about the outcome in the Lone Star State.

But Virginia, Maine, Minnesota and New Mexico are a different story. For Democrats, losing in those states would be like reliving the nightmare of Republican Ronald Reagan’s 49-state landslide in 1984. (For most American voters, clearly, that wasn’t a nightmare at all.)

If those states are as competitive as the leaked memo indicates, for Biden’s team and Democrats in general, there is nothing good about that.

Tucker Carlson had stunning news Wednesday on X that he has secured an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As Gateway Pundit readers know, Tucker has been a vociferous critic of Zelenskyy’s corrupt government for years.

He has also lambasted the Biden regime’s never-ending aid to the war-torn nation.

In his tweet making the announcement, Tucker notes that he and his team had been trying for two years to make this happen and intensified their pursuit following his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin back in February.

“Looks like we’ve got the Zelenskyy interview,” Tucker wrote, “We’ve been trying for two years, and with particular intensity after interviewing Putin in February.”

He then explained why he was interviewing a man in charge of the most crooked country in Europe outside of Russia and hoped he would be able to air it soon.

“The point is to bring Americans much-needed information about the conflict that’s completely reshaping their country’s position in the world,” Tucker added. “Coming soon we hope.”

Considering the noted animosity between the two men, this is a development no one saw coming. In fact, Zelenskyy went off on Tucker for daring to perform an actual act of journalism and interview Putin.

“I don’t have time to hear more than two hours of bull**** about us, about the world, about the United States, about our relations and this interview with a killer,” Mr Zelenskyy whined.

One can be sure that assuming Zelenskyy does not go wobbly and sits down with Tucker, he is going to get some pointed questions about his government’s corruption, his assault on democracy and religious liberty, and the prosecution of his war with Russia.

These are questions the corporate media has never dared ask their globalist darling.

The locals are making their presence felt on a San Diego beach, and the tourists are, at turns, mesmerized and terrified by them. We are talking about sea lions.

These huge beasts, which are protected under the Marine Mammal Protection Act and can’t be approached by humans, are said to usually not be aggressive towards humans.

But in La Jolla Cove, chaos ensued, and dozens of beachgoers in San Diego were left running for their lives when a sea lion charged at beachgoers who apparently approached its pups.

The New York Post reports:

“The sea lion was captured on video swimming around La Jolla Cove with the babies before it began barking at the swimmers on June 23.

‘Oh, they are kind of close, get out of the water, fat ass’, one person can be heard saying before the sea lion rushes out of the water.”

People jumped up and backed off as the sea lion charged toward them.

Some took their sweet time carrying their belongings away while others tried to document their close encounter.

“’Visited La Jolla, CA this weekend to see the Sea Lions in their (natural) habitat and to learn more about these protected ecosystems’, [Beachgoer Lauren] Bertrand said on TikTok. ‘The people were peopling and this big guy was NOT having it’.”

An adult sea lion and a juvenile come in full sprint toward swimmers, forcing them to scramble out of the way however they can.

Luckily, the hefty beast stopped the attack before anyone was injured.

A mere 200 yards away from La Jolla Cove is Point La Jolla, a rocky stretch of coastline that turned into a hot spot for sea lions.

“Point La Jolla was closed for public access indefinitely last September following complaints from residents and activists to protect the sea lions.

The unanimous city council decision came months after a similar situation where two large sea lions charged at beachgoers wading in the waters of La Jolla Cove.”

Joe Biden on Wednesday emerged from hiding to attend his first public event for the day at 4:45 pm ET.

Biden delivered remarks at a Medal of Honor Ceremony at the White House in the East Room.

“President Biden awarded posthumous Medals of Honor on Wednesday to two Army privates who were part of a plot to hijack a train and destroy Confederate infrastructure during the Civil War. Mr. Biden said the honor was a “long time coming.”” – CBS News reported.

“The president honored Philip Shadrach and George Wilson for their “gallantry and intrepidity” in carrying out a covert operation called the “Great Locomotive Chase,” which played out 200 miles behind Confederate lines in Georgia in 1862, the White House said. Union soldiers dressed as civilians infiltrated the Confederacy, hijacked a train and drove it north for 87 miles, destroying Confederate infrastructure along the way.” CBS News reported.

Biden robotically shuffled into the East Room. His son Hunter was also in attendance.

O’Keefe Media Group has released part three of its Disney Tapes series, exposing Disney’s Creative Marketing Director by day and professional drag queen by night, Amit “Genie” Gurnani, who revealed Disney’s “unspoken” LGBTQ agenda for children.

Gurnani revealed that a “pride campaign across Disney and television” is set to “take up the rest of the next four or five months.” He says that children seeing LGBTQ content on their televisions is “the unspoken thing.” This includes pride celebrations at Disney parks and other LGBTQ projects advertised to children.

Gurnani also says he would “love to” have drag queens at Disney Land, and he’s “sure that would happen at some point.”

Some of the soft-core LGBTQ content has already been introduced to Disney programming as early as 2014 when Disney’s “Good Luck Charlie” featured a lesbian couple, reportedly for the first time on the network.

It can be recalled that O’Keefe Media Group released an undercover video last month of the Senior Vice President at Disney detailing discriminatory hiring practices.

The senior VP on Disney Tapes Part One told OMG’s undercover journalist that Disney is not considering any white men for the job.

“Nobody else is going to tell you this, but they’re not considering any white males for the job,” says Michael Giordano, a Vice President of Business Affairs, “there’s no way we’re hiring a white male.”

Giordano revealed Disney uses “code words and buzzwords” to avoid legal action and even mentions a candidate being rejected for not looking black enough. Giordano also admitted Disney gives bonuses to executives for practicing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), agreeing that “diversity helps with financial incentives.”

The Disney VP said there will be a lawsuit at some point over the company’s discriminatory hiring practices.

Some of the possible ‘code words’ or ‘buzz words’: “They might say something like, ‘We’re not looking for the usual suspects for the job,’ so it’s not like a legally actionable thing. But everybody knows what it means.”

In Disney Tapes Part Two, it was revealed by Disney’s Television Director of Production/Finance, Sohrab “Dave” Makker, that Disney has discriminatory hiring practices for C-Suite roles (CEO, CFO, COO, etc). He said that Disney does not hire anybody “who’s not white or not Jewish” for C-Suite roles.
