French President Emmanuel Macron asked Telegram CEO Pavel Durov to move the company headquarters to Paris back in 2018, an offer he refused.

Fast forward six years and Durov was arrested in France at the behest of the Macron regime.

The revelations were first revealed in a bombshell report from The Wall Street Journal:

Six years before Pavel Durov landed in a French holding cell, the antiestablishment founder of the messaging app Telegram was in a very different position in France: having lunch with President Emmanuel Macron.

At the lunch in 2018, which hasn’t been previously reported, Macron invited the Russian-born Durov to move Telegram to Paris, people familiar with the discussions said. Durov declined at the time. The French leader even discussed granting French citizenship to him, one of the people said. A French official said Durov asked Macron for citizenship.

On Saturday, French authorities detained Durov in an investigation that poses the most serious threat to the antiauthority ethos of Telegram since the app was founded in 2013. His arrest has brought into sharp focus the fraught relationships the 39-year-old Durov has had with governments around the world, which have attempted to woo and control him, often failing at both.

According to French prosecutors, Durov is complicit in a variety of criminal activities which include enabling drug trafficking and child pornography for hosting a social media platform.

Note that Mark Zuckerberg is not on the arrest list despite his platforms very public issues with child exploitation.

However, their real motivation is really about Durov's refusal to comply with censorship demands aimed at curtaling freedom of speech around the world.

The Associated Press notes:

The first preliminary charge against him was for ‘’complicity in managing an online platform to allow illicit transactions by an organized group,’' a crime that can lead to sentences of up to 10 years in prison and 500,000 euro fine, the prosecutor’s office said.

Preliminary charges under French law mean magistrates have strong reason to believe a crime was committed but allow more time for further investigation. Prosecutors said that Pavel Durov is, “at this stage, the only person implicated in this case.

They did not exclude the possibility that other people are being investigated, but declined to comment on other possible arrest warrants. Any other arrest warrant would be revealed only if the target of such a warrant is detained and informed of their rights, prosecutors said in a statement to the AP.

President Macron's specific involvement in Durov's arrest still remains unclear. Earlier this week, he took to the X platform to falsely claim that the French judiciary was acting with "full independence" and that his government remains "deeply commmitted to freedom of expressiong and communication."

The Harris campaign is now claiming Kamala does not support an electric vehicle (EV) mandate.

Kamala Harris is currently in office. Her Regime imposed an EV mandate yet the media is helping Kamala Harris by decoupling her from Joe Biden’s failed policies.

Electric vehicles are unpopular, expensive, and bad for the environment but the Biden-Harris Regime went into overdrive to force car companies to produce more EVs while they crack down on gas-powered vehicle tailpipe emissions.

Harris-Biden EPA Administrator Michael Regan last year announced new tailpipe emission standards in an effort to restrict gas-powered vehicles.

Under this plan, Americans will likely be forced to buy electric vehicles, which is exactly what Biden wants.

The new emission standards could force as much as 67% of all new vehicles sales to be electric.

Currently, only 5.8% of vehicles sold in the US are electric, CNBC reported.

The Harris-Biden Regime electric vehicle mandate would require nearly 70 percent of most new car purchases to be electric or hybrid by 2032.

When Kamala Harris was a Democrat Senator (CA) she co-sponsored the Zero-Emissions Vehicle Act of 2019 which requires car manufacturers to sell zero-emission vehicles by 2040.

JD Vance slammed Kamala Harris’s EV mandate on Tuesday during a campaign event so the Harris-Walz team responded by claiming Kamala is against an electric vehicle mandate.

JD Vance again on Wednesday slammed Kamala Harris for her EV mandate after she lied about her stance on Chinese-made electric vehicles.

If you think car prices are bad, wait until Kamala Harris makes everybody buy a Chinese-made electric vehicle. If you think housing prices are bad, wait until Kamala Harris makes it impossible for our truckers to get construction materials to the building site. Kamala Harris’s policies are a DISASTER ladies and gentlemen,” Vance said during a campaign event in Erie, Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

A new voter registration scam has been uncovered in the must-win state of Michigan, whose elections and top law enforcement agency are headed up by Democrats with a less-than-stellar reputation for honesty or fairness.

Last year, the Gateway Pundit reported about a massive statewide voter registration scheme that we discovered after an MI election integrity expert, Phil O’Halloran, shared a shocking MI State Police report with me.

The investigation, which began only one month before the 2020 election, was hidden from the public, and, perhaps even more shocking, it was hidden from Michigan clerks, who are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the elections.

Ann Meisch, the Muskegon, MI clerk, notified the local Muskegon Police Department when she received between 8,000 and 10,000 voter registrations in the mail with the initials “E.M.” (Empower Michigan) and a return address from the Staybridge Hotel in Auburn Hills, MI, (which is on the other side of the state).

Ms. Meisch also received over 2,000 voter registrations delivered by hand from a woman identified as Brianna Hawkins in the police report.

Ms. Hawkins was working as a compliance officer for GBI Strategies, aka Empower Michigan when she was questioned by the MI State Police and investigators from AG Nessel’s office.

In a clip from the interview with Ms. Hawkins, she tells MI AG Investigator Morse that she identified at least 1,000 fraudulent voter registration applications in the Muskegon GBI Strategies office.

“And if I found 1,000 false ones in mine, I can only imagine what they [Muskegon Clerk’s office) found in theirs! I can only imagine…” she said

When Brianna was asked how GBI Strategies owner Gary Bell responded when he was informed of the massive number of fraudulent voter registrations found at the GBI Strategies office that were brought in by his canvassers in Muskegon, he didn’t express any concern and told them “Don’t worry about it,” and assured them “It was okay.”

were the Michigan State Police, MI SOS Benson’s office, and AG Nessel’s office.

Although the MI AG investigator can be seen telling Ms. Hawkins that several crimes were committed by her organization, and MI SOS Analyst Corey Ames admits to identifying a “quantity of the voter application forms” that are “clearly fraudulent” from the samples he reviewed, no charges were ever filed against GBI Strategies employees, management or the owner, Gary Bell.

During a raid of the Southfield, MI GBI Strategies headquarters by the MI State Police, it was discovered that Gary Bell, who was in Iowa at the time of the raid, left behind a Pelican case with four semi-automatic rifles joined with suppressors or silencers and customized (modified) pistols.

Above the guns was a whiteboard that read: Hot Topics. Under “Hot Topics,” it was written, “weapons in the field, prepared for shifts.”

In addition to the cache of weapons found in the GBI Strategies headquarters, a group that was solely funded by Democrats, including the campaigns of Senator Gary Peters and Joe Bidens’ presidential campaign, the raid uncovered pre-paid cards used to discreetly pay their employees as well as burner phones used by employees of GBI Strategies.

The Democrat-funded GBI Strategies/Empower MI was clearly not your typical “voter registration” or “get out the vote” operation…

It’s now been revealed that a local Detroit news station, WDIV, has uncovered a new voter registration scam in Michigan, which is equally disturbing, given how easily fake voter registrations can be created by individuals or groups with nefarious intentions.

The scam involves targeting innocent citizens who receive a text message that reads:

We have you in our records as not registered to vote. Check your registration status and register to vote in 2 minutes.

The text message then asks the recipient to click the link they provide.

There are a few possible outcomes a recipient could encounter:

1. They may be asked to fill out a form that will tell them they are registered to vote, and their information will be used to register a fake voter. Fake registration can turn into absentee ballots filled out in boiler rooms and delivered to drop boxes. The Gateway Pundit showed over 13 minutes of surveillance footage of individuals or teams dropping stacks of ballots into drop boxes throughout Detroit during the 2020 election.
2. The other option is an individual or group phishing for social security numbers or personal information to steal the recipient’s identity.

Given what we know about how easy it is to create fake registrations that allow Democrats to win elections in critical swing states, it’s highly likely these text messages could lead to phony voter registrations, which lead to manufactured absentee voters, who, in the case of the critically important swing state of Michigan, could ultimately determine the outcome of the presidential race in the 2024 election.

In a statement to WDIV, MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s office claims they will investigate the text message voter registration scam and turn it over to AG Nessel’s office or the proper law enforcement authorities.

Considering that MI AG Nessel never mentioned the GBI Strategies voter registration crimes to the public and then downplayed its significance after the Gateway Pundit exposed the statewide investigation, why should we believe that if a Democrat group is behind these text messages, they will be held accountable for their crimes?

In this deranged modern society, children sometimes face appalling obstacles.

On Monday, the Philadelphia Police Department in Pennsylvania announced an investigation into four recent armed carjacking incidents.

Tragically, the PPD identified the two suspects as a 17-year-old black male and another black male aged 10-12.

The four carjacking incidents occurred between Aug. 16 and Aug. 22. Each incident took place under cover of darkness, either at night or very early in the morning.

In each case, the suspects approached on foot and stole the vehicles at gunpoint.

Victims included three men and a 74-year-old woman.

In the case of the three male victims, the suspects reportedly used a handgun to steal the vehicles.

When robbing the 74-year-old woman, however, the suspects allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and took her keys and wallet along with her vehicle. They did this while toting a handgun.

Furthermore, three days after stealing their second vehicle, the suspects got into an accident involving that vehicle. Then, they immediately stole the third vehicle.

In other words, they seem to have grown more brazen and violent with each successive theft.

Thus, the PPD investigation involves both the Central Detective Division and the Major Crimes Carjacking Task Force.

One shudders, of course, at the idea that a child as young as 10 could have any involvement in such crimes.

To those whose thoughts tend in a historical direction, such incidents might call to mind the great reformers of the 19th century who fought tirelessly to keep children out of factories or any other setting in which the depravity of the adult world forced them to grow up too quickly.

Many of those reformers were Christians. Thus, they expected the hitherto-exploited children to find security in schools and stable homes.

Today, however, a 10-year-old who otherwise lacks the maturity to make any meaningful decisions might nonetheless receive attention from adults who have an unhealthy interest in the child’s sexual identity.

Furthermore, today’s 10-year-old faces the dire prospect of growing up with an absent father. That might or might not apply to the young carjacking suspect in question. But one cannot ignore the possibility.

In fact, the absence of fear over potential consequences could also explain the suspects’ mounting audacity and escalating violence. Fathers instill that very healthy fear.

Meanwhile, the 17-year-old suspect himself can barely make decisions. But he knows right from wrong and chooses to ignore it, so one can easily imagine the influence he has had on the younger suspect.

In the end, one hopes that the police will track down these two lost boys before they hurt someone irrevocably.

American taxpayers are spending millions of dollars on planes, helicopters, motorcades and Secret Service to ferry Biden’s family of parasites all over the country on endless vacations.

Marine One costs approximately $20,000 per hour and Air Force One costs $177,843 per hour, according to Department of Defense documents. Biden’s frequent trips and vacations to Delaware have cost US taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.
