Governor Greg Abbott announced today that the state has successfully removed over one million ineligible voters from its voter rolls since the enactment of Senate Bill 1 in 2021.

This decisive action includes nearly 500,000 deceased individuals and thousands of noncitizens.

“Election integrity is essential to our democracy,” said Governor Abbott.

“I have signed the strongest election laws in the nation to protect the right to vote and to crackdown on illegal voting. These reforms have led to the removal of over one million ineligible people from our voter rolls in the last three years, including noncitizens, deceased voters, and people who moved to another state.

“The Secretary of State and county voter registrars have an ongoing legal requirement to review the voter rolls, remove ineligible voters, and refer any potential illegal voting to the Attorney General’s Office and local authorities for investigation and prosecution. Illegal voting in Texas will never be tolerated. We will continue to actively safeguard Texans’ sacred right to vote while also aggressively protecting our elections from illegal voting.”

The extensive review process conducted by the Secretary of State’s office and county voter registrars has yielded significant results, including:

• Over 6,500 noncitizens
• Over 6,000 voters with felony convictions
• Over 457,000 deceased individuals
• Over 463,000 voters on the suspense list
• Over 134,000 voters who confirmed they had moved
• Over 65,000 voters who failed to respond to examination notices
• Over 19,000 voters who requested cancellation of their registration

In total, these actions account for over 1.1 million ineligible voters being removed from Texas’ voter rolls.

According to the press release:

Of the over 6,500 noncitizens removed from the voter rolls, approximately 1,930 have a voter history. The Secretary of State’s office is in the process of sending all 1,930 records to the Attorney General’s Office for investigation and potential legal action. To better crackdown on illegal voting, Governor Abbott signed House Bill 1243 into law last year, increasing the penalty for illegal voting, including voting by noncitizens, to a second-degree felony.

In 2021, Governor Abbott signed Senate Bill 1, Senate Bill 1113, and House Bill 574 into law. Senate Bill 1 elevated lying while registering to vote to a state jail felony, criminalized ballot harvesting, required the Secretary of State to conduct randomized audits of elections every two years, banned distribution of unsolicited mail-in ballot applications and ballots, and required ID for mail-in ballots. Senate Bill 1113 empowered the Secretary of State to withhold funds from counties that fail to remove noncitizens from their voter roll. House Bill 574 made it a second-degree felony to knowingly count invalid votes or refuse to count valid votes.

In 2017, the Governor signed Senate Bill 5, which increased the penalty for election workers who knowingly permit noncitizens and other ineligible persons to vote.

French President Emmanuel Macron is now lying about his country’s commitment to “freedom of expression” after government officials locked up the founder of Telegram when he departed a plane at Le Bourget on Saturday night.

On Saturday, the CEO of the popular messaging app Telegram was arrested at Le Bourget airport in France for refusing to comply with the country’s censorship laws.

Pavel Durov, 39, was arrested on the tarmac as he got off his private jet from Azerbaijan.

Durov is currently a hostage of the French government for not censoring unapproved speech on his social media app. His incarceration may last until August 28th.

Pavel Durov fled Russia when they demanded he turn over information on opposition party leaders. Now it is the French, and globalist left, who have thrown him in prison.

On Monday French President Emanuel Macron tweeted out about Durov’s arrest and detention in prison. Macron insists it’s “not politically motivated” and that France really, truly is committed to freedom of expression – if it is approved by the tyrannical government.

Macron’s tweet was immediately criticized by X users who called out his BS.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski blasted the French President. Rumble was forced to shut down operations in France because the country has NO commitment to freedom of expression.

Joe and Jill Biden took a taxpayer-funded weeklong vacation in Santa Ynez, California last week.

Secret Service agents violently pushed peasants out of the way so Jill Biden could go on a shopping spree on Friday afternoon.

Jill Biden made a ‘surprise visit’ in Los Olivos and bystanders with cameras were roughly cleared out.

One woman was violently pushed away.

“Out of the roadway! Move now! Go!” one member of Jill Biden’s security detail shouted as he violently pushed a woman.

“Jill Biden visited Los Olivos for a little shopping accompanied by her son Hunter Biden and family along with more than 10 Secret Service agents and local law enforcement,” a local station reported last week.

“During the Biden family visit, the group stopped at several stores,” the local reporter said.

Jill Biden and the rest of the Biden parasites spent just 30 minutes in Los Olivos. They disrupted the small town and spent taxpayer money on nearly a dozen Secret Service agents and local law enforcement officers so Queen Jill could go on a shopping spree.

This is why Jill Biden covered up her husband’s dementia. She is a power-hungry elitist who loves watching peasants get manhandled so she can stroll and shop on taxpayer dime.

Notice how Jill Biden’s security detail is all men. The ponytail brigade is only reserved for President Trump.

President Trump visited Detroit, Michigan on Monday to speak at the 146th General Conference and Exhibition of the National Guard Association and he had a surprise in store for the audience.

Early into the event, former Hawaii Democrat Representative and Kamala Harris slayer Tulsi Gabbard took the podium and endorsed Trump for President, just days after another prominent Democrat, RFK Jr., gave a brilliant speech while backing the 45th president.

In her speech explaining why she decided to endorse Trump, Gabbard explained one reason she decided to do so is that America is closer to nuclear war than ever before in history, and she believes only Trump can bring about world peace.

As The Gateway Pundit readers know, Gabbard is helping Trump prepare for his debate showdown with Kamala Harris on September 10. She brings some critical qualities as a debate advisor to Trump. For example, she has policy experience as a former member of Congress and is a female when Trump is facing his second woman as his general election challenger.

Fair or unfair, a man going after a woman during a debate is looked at differently by the public than when another male is involved.

Most importantly, Gabbard has faced Harris in a debate and effectively ended her campaign. During a July 2019 Democratic Presidential debate on CNN, she destroyed Harris’s garbage record as California Attorney General and San Francisco District Attorney.
