The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor reported Saturday that the rock band Foo Fighters threatened President Trump with “appropriate actions” after their 1990s hit “My Hero” was played while Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. took the stage at a rally in Glendale, Arizona Friday night. Now, news has emerged suggesting that they should be the ones facing said “appropriate actions.”

The Foo Fighters posted two comments on X/Twitter Friday night about “My Hero” being played at the Trump/Kennedy rally. The first was a simple “No” when asked if they had given approval and later a brief “Let us be clear” comment that post-quoted the earlier comment:

The rock band said it would not only take legal action against the Trump campaign but also donate any royalties from its lawsuit to the socialist Harris/Walz ticket. The Trump campaign responded by insisting that they did have a license to play “My Hero,” however.

One news outlet has uncovered the truth, and it turns out the Foo Fighters lied. The Independent reported Saturday that The Trump campaign DID have permission to play “My Hero” at the rally.

The paper has seen documents that confirm that Team Trump licensed the song from BMI’s Songview service.

The Foo Fighters ignored the fact they sold their rights to BMI while threatening to sue the Trump campaign. What dishonest, virtue-signaling leftists.

TGP’s Taylor previously posted an explanation of the music rights issue via WRC-TV:

“You do not need to license the master recording of the song for a live performance only. So, what would normally happen is when you go to a concert, the venues themselves get what’s called a blanket license from the performance rights organizations.”

But even with that license, an artist or license holder can still object. So, campaign organizers often just press play on a song and hope it doesn’t anger those holding the rights to it.

…Artists, however, do not always have control over how and when their music is played. Political campaigns obtain licenses from performing rights organizations like ASCAP that enable them to use a wide variety of songs from the catalogs of recognizable artists at live events. If an artist objects to its use, the song is pulled from the license.

“If the artist has already gone to the PRO and told them to stop using it …your first step is a cease and desist letter from a lawyer. And sometimes that will work. And it does in many cases,” Freundlich said. “Now, once it’s pulled, technically, it’s a copyright infringement for the campaign to continue to use it.”

But not every campaign immediately complies, risking up to $150,000 in statutory damages from the copyright infringement for each work used.

The next question is whether the Trump campaign will attempt to sue the Foo Fighters for defamation. While many would say this is a waste of time, some of his 45th President’s biggest fans want him to take this step.

According to multiple reports, Hamas ‘affiliates’ are harassing the relatives of hostages taken after the October 7 terror attacks with threatening phone calls and messages coming from their loved ones’ phones.

The calls demand ransom payments and threaten that without action, they may never see their loved ones again.

The messages also included warnings such as, “If you don’t fight the government, you won’t see your loved ones return.”

Some messages even promise to tell heartbroken relatives where their loved ones are being held.

The Jerusalem Post reports that the terror group sent ransom requests, claiming that without payment, the hostage families wouldn’t receive information about their loved ones.

The families have since passed the phone numbers to the Shin Bet.

An initial investigation suggests that those behind the threats are hostile actors, either of Iranian origin or affiliated with Hamas.

Knewz.com reports that one relative, Gil Dickmann, began receiving these communications as early as November of 2023, only a month after the attacks.

In Dickmann’s case, the first communication read: “Family: This is a message from Al Qassam.”

The phone the message was sent from belonged to Carmel Gat, Dickmann’s cousin, who along with her (Gat’s) mother, Kinneret, were kidnapped.

“We have proposed to your administration a hostage exchange, but it wasn’t accepted,” the communication continued.

“If you want to know the situation of all your hostages be in touch with us,” the message concluded, and shared a contact link to the militant group.

Dickmann soon learned that his aunt had already been murdered by Hamas and the sick communication was a phishing attempt.

Dickmann received additional messages suggesting they knew where some hostages were being held.

Forbes reports:

Days before the release of hostages began, Dickmann received a separate flurry of WhatsApp messages from what appeared to be a Jordanian phone number. “Are you a relative of our detainee Carmel Gat?” it said. “I have some news about her that I want to convey to her family.”

The person claimed to know the guard who has been patrolling the house where Gat is allegedly being held in Gaza—and that she is “still alive and in good health” but that they are low on food, water and medicine and that disease is beginning to spread.

When Dickmann inquired about other relatives, the person said he knew their whereabouts as well. “Yes my friend,” he responded a minute later. “Know where all the kidnappe[d] are. And I know what their circumstances are like. Who died and who survived. Unfortunately, there are approximately 80 abductees who were killed due to Israeli air strikes.”

While conducting herself with incredible class and decorum, Melania has always been far more private than many first ladies and rarely makes strong political pronouncements or comments about her extraordinary life as Donald Trump’s wife.

Given her reserved personality, this should make her memoir all the more interesting. And should Trump win in November, we can surely expect another volume.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Joe Biden and his handler/wife, Jill Biden, jetted off for TWO vacations after Sleepy Joe’s disastrous speech at the DNC Convention last week.

Biden on Saturday was lounging in Santa Ynez, California, a Southern California town located in the heart of wine country and just 31 miles from Santa Barbara. He reportedly stayed with billionaire Democratic donor Joe Kiani’s estate.

A taxpayer-funded vacation while freeloading off of one of the wealthiest people in America. It must be nice to be a Biden.

Upon learning Biden would be in the area, some Trump fans thought it would be a good idea to go trolling. And their actions did not disappoint.

CBS News reporter Sarah Svoboda captured footage of the Trump trucks driving through Solvang on Saturday afternoon, just seven miles from Biden’s vacation spot in Santa Ynez.

Trucks draped in Trump gear and American flags move along the streets of Solvang’s downtown area, loudly sounding their horns to announce their presence.

The caravan lasts just shy of 30 seconds.

There’s a good chance Joe Biden was sound asleep after ‘working’ hard to leech off the U.S. taxpayer. Hopefully, the horns were loud enough to wake him from his nap.

The Biden crime family is reportedly headed to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for yet another vacation. With Kamala Harris campaigning for his ‘job,’ it’s an open question of who is running the country now.

One can only hope that MAGA nation will give Joe a similar greeting to the one in Solvang.

A Michigan judge has ruled that far-left candidate Cornel West must be allowed to appear on the state’s presidential ballot.

Despite the best efforts of Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Judge James Robert Redford ruled that election officials were “ordered to qualify” West and his running mate, Melina Abdullah, as presidential candidates in Michigan.

The effort was celebrated by the Fair Election Fund, which seeks to expose fraud and malpractice across nationwide elections, who announced that Benson’s voter suppression efforts were just overturned in a win for democracy and a loss for Democrats.

A staunch socialist and BLM activist, West is undoubtedly a thorn in the side of the Democratic Party because he is likely to draw votes away from Harris and could potentially aid Trump’s return to the White House.

He has already qualified by ballot access in a handful of crucial swing states, including Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, despite efforts from the Democratic Party to stop him.

West’s presence on the ballot is particularly troubling for Democrats in Michigan given its large Muslim population, many of whom are furious with the party for its lukewarm support for Israel and what they see as their complicity in a genocide in Gaza.

During the Michigan primary earlier this year, over 100,000 voters were “non-committed,” a defacto vote against then-candidate Joe Biden. It is unclear what proportion of those voters will vote for Harris in November.

Following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to drop out the race and endorse Donald Trump, the only remaining third-party candidate is the Green Party’s Jill Stein, who is standing on a largely anti-war platform.
