After years of ignoring the issue, Vice President Kamala Harris will finally visit Arizona’s border, but many Black voters have already made up their minds. According to a Suffolk University/USA Today poll, 29% of Black voters in Arizona support Trump. This shift breaks the long-standing assumption that Democrats own the Black vote.

This trend isn’t limited to Arizona. In Michigan, 19% of Black voters also plan to vote for Trump. More African-Americans now reject the idea that they must vote Democrat. They see Trump’s record on jobs, border security, and economic opportunity as more appealing.

The New York Post reports,

New polling in the Grand Canyon State shows Donald Trump making major gains with a historically Democratic constituency, driving one of his biggest leads in any swing state.

The Suffolk University/USA Today survey conducted Sept. 21 to 24 finds the Republican nominee up 6 points against Kamala Harris.

And black voters are contributing to that 48% to 42% lead for the former president, with 29% of them backing Trump in this survey over the vice president, who has 67% support among the group.

This black support, if it manifests, would fulfill a Trump campaign goal to especially turn out black male voters. A previous USA Today poll of Michigan suggests it may not be a single-state phenomenon either; 19% of African American voters in the Wolverine State say they’ll check the ballot for Trump.

Harris’s sudden border trip feels like a desperate move. She received the “border czar” title years ago but did nothing until now. Her timing exposes a failure to take border concerns seriously. Black voters in Arizona, however, recognize this and support Trump’s direct approach.

Trump isn’t just gaining support among Black voters. He’s also closing the gap with female voters, trailing Harris by only 5 points. Harris’s approval rating stands at just 39% in Arizona. The numbers show she fails to connect with voters, regardless of gender or race.

Arizona’s shift reflects a national trend. Black voters are now seeing through empty Democratic promises. They want real solutions, and Trump offers them a proven record. While Harris scrambles, Trump delivers a clear, direct message that resonates.

Fox News pollster Sandra Smith and pollster Daron Shaw broke down how Kamala Harris is hemorrhaging support among Hispanics, a constituency the Democratic Party has typically relied upon.

In a segment on Friday afternoon, Fox News host Sandra Smith and pollster Daron Shaw cited a poll showing Donald Trump with a three-point lead over Kamala Harris in Arizona, noting that the Democratic nominee falling was losing support among women and Hispanic voters.

“I want to take you to look at some of what is happening in Arizona, and the preference right there is for Donald Trump by three points in the latest Fox News polling,” Smith said. “But there are some warning signs for Harris and questions of whether or not she can close this gap.”

“Some of the warning signs are coming from the Hispanic voters. She had an 18-point lead with them in August in that state. That has now shrunk to 11,” she continued. “When it comes to voters under 30, not only has that margin shrank, but it’s gone to the deficit. She had a 13-point lead there, and it’s now gone to a 12-point deficit.”

Shaw, meanwhile, described the polling trends as “devastating news for her campaign.”

“The Democratic coalition relies heavily on African American voters, on Hispanic voters, on younger voters, as you just pointed out. In 2020, Biden’s margin — you know, Trump barely got double digits with African American voters. He was in the 30s with Hispanics. He was in the 30s with voters under 30 years of age,” Shaw noted.

“Now you’re talking about numbers amongst Hispanics in the 40s, numbers close to W. Bush’s numbers. Amongst younger voters, these are smaller sample sizes so we have to be a little cautious here, but the fact that he is competitive, let alone leading amongst younger voters, is devastating news for her campaign.”

“She desperately needs those voters to swing back to their traditional patterns she’s going to win a state like Arizona,” he continued. “This is a state decided by 12,500 votes last time. You can’t hemorrhage voters from your key coalitions and expect to carry a state like Arizona.”

Fox News prematurely called the state of Arizona for Joe Biden on the night of the 2020 presidential election, a move that led to outrage among viewers and the Trump campaign.

Biden ended up “winning” the state by a margin of just over 10,000 votes, despite widespread evidence that this was the result of Democratic voter fraud.

Background:  

• Michigan law requires that clerks mark absentee ballot envelopes with the date the ballot was received, verify the voter’s signature (and thus their identity), and provide a statement on the envelope that the signature was verified and the ballot is approved for tabulation.
• If either the date or the approval statement is missing, Michigan law requires that the ballot not be tabulated.
• During this year’s statewide primary, the RNC Election Integrity team discovered that many ballots were approved for tabulation without the required statement that the signature was verified.
• This is a direct result of Secretary Benson’s guidance to election officials, which omits the requirement that clerks mark ballots with a statement that the signatures have been verified.
• These are basic absentee voter safeguards that Secretary Benson continues to undermine, and we have filed suit to require compliance with election laws.

RNC Chairman Michael Whatley celebrated the key win on Friday.

"Great election integrity news out of battleground Michigan," Michael Whatley said. "Clerks were counting mail ballots without proof of signature verification, opening the door to fraud. The GOP sued."

When a would-be assassin’s bullets began flying at former President Donald Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania, rally, it didn’t take long before it was the gunman’s turn to take incoming fire.

The fire and ferocity of one law enforcement officer’s response is now being realized as the public learns more details about the July 13 shooting.

The situation first erupted at the rally when a suspicious man climbed on a roof overlooking the rally grounds and opened fire on Trump as the former president spoke. Trump and two rallygoers ultimately survived after being hit in the gunfire, while a third victim, Corey Comperatore, was killed.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman, was able to put eight shots downrange before security engaged Crooks and killed him.

After Crooks’ initial eight shots, an officer from below his position fired a round from his M4 rifle that likely disabled the shooter’s gun.

Rep. Clay Higgins noted in a congressional report last month that this officer’s shot struck the buffer tube of Crooks’ AR-15 rifle, likely ending its ability to cycle ammunition.

The incredible shot also “fragged” Crooks — peppering the shooter’s neck and face with bits of metal and plastic exploding out from the rifle’s struck stock.

Now, we finally know who this heroic officer is.

During Thursday’s hearing held by the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump, Higgins revealed him to be Adams Township Police Department sergeant Aaron Zaliponi while reading the officer’s testimony about action taken after he heard the shots.

“I hear the first three, crack, crack, crack,” Higgins read aloud in the hearing, “and at this point I’m like OK, where are we at here? I look up and when I see Crooks, I got his head and shoulders and can see a rifle.”

Zaliponi, who was deployed to Iraq as an infantry squad leader with the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 28th Infantry Division, moved to directly engage the shooter.

“At that point I hear another crack and when I start pulling my weapon up, he gets three off. As I’m getting my target acquired and getting my red dot up, I see the gas emit from his barrel, his muzzle. After that I hear the snap of a fifth shot go off and immediately after that I pressed one off and that’s when he immediately goes down.”

Zaliponi’s shot, the ninth of the event, was quickly followed by a Secret Service counter-sniper’s round, which is considered the killing blow. Despite the official narrative, the Pennsylvania cop is certain he hit Crooks.

“I know I hit him,” Zaliponi’s transcribed interview says. “Like, there’s no doubt about it.”

Higgins says his own investigation leads him to believe the officer’s shot did more than disable the shooter’s rifle, but actually hit Crooks in some way and stopped him.

Photos of Crooks’ rifle and other evidence shows the serious impact the ninth shot had.

“Zaliponi never took his red dot off of Crooks,” Higgins told The Blaze, “and as Crooks rose up from shot 9, Zaliponi was a half-second away from pressing another round into Crooks when the USSS southern counter-sniper team ended the threat.”

Law enforcement and the Secret Service both received criticism for a seemingly sluggish response to Crooks, who was seen and recorded by many people at the rally grounds just before the shooting.
