During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan suggested that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz would be horrible on free speech if they win the election, clamping down on sites like Twitter.

Rogan correctly points out that Harris admitted as much in a recent interview, saying that Twitter must follow the same rules as Facebook and other social media sites. He also pointed out that Tim Walz said that disinformation and ‘hate speech’ are not protected by the First Amendment. They absolutely are.

The fact that Rogan is talking about this is a sign that people know about this issue and are (rightly) concerned about it.

In my youth, I ordered a cheap inflatable canoe from China. The vessel’s maiden voyage ended in disaster just 50 yards from the shore, when the placid waters of the Little Maumelle River proved too much for the rapidly-deflating canoe.

While this inland naval disaster appears to be a problem with the quality of the country’s exports, recent events have shown that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy suffers from similar sinking problems.

And Beijing didn’t lose an inflatable dinghy to Davy Jones’ Locker, but its newest nuclear-powered attack submarine.

Attempts to cover up the humiliating loss have now been exposed by satellite imagery.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a Zhou-class submarine, the first of its kind, sank at a shipyard near Wuhan. It’s believed the vessel sank in May or June.

The loss was not announced by the Chinese military or local officials, two groups that are still silent on the incident.

Former U.S. submarine officer Thomas Shugart appears to be one of the first to publicly post about something strange happening in the Yangtze River.

“I recently acquired some updated imagery from Wuchang Shipyard in Wuhan – China’s primary shipyard for non-nuclear submarine construction,” Shugart wrote on the social media platform X on July 16. “It appears there may have been something…odd going on there in June.”

Shugart noted the location was where he originally spotted a submarine, which he then identified through grainy satellite imagery as a potential diesel-electric Yuan-class vessel.

First, an older image from 29 May shows nothing unusual – a presumably new-construction Yuan-class submarine (Type 039 variant) in the usual spot where newly-launched boats are fitted out.

He followed up the post with newer satellite images showing crane barges clustered around the location where the submarine had been. The floating pier now seemed to be moved aside, and Shugart noted something “roughly submarine-sized” that the cranes appeared to be working on.

United States government officials are unsure whether the submarine had nuclear fuel on board, but experts cited by the Wall Street Journal said it was likely.

Although the sub now appears to have been raised, Shugart told WSJ that the vessel is nowhere near seaworthy.

“The whole boat would be full of water. You’d have to clean out all the electronics. The electric motors may need to be replaced,” he said. “It would be a lot of work.”

Even a complete refit of the submarine would not address whatever originally caused the sinking.

Whereas a human error such as an open hatch could be an easy fix (by sending the offending sailor to one of China’s re-education camps, for instance), a technical or structural flaw may prove to be much more difficult to address.

The sinking is a major blow for the Chinese navy, which is expected to play a major part in a potential war over the communist superpower’s mortal enemy, the Taiwan-based Republic of China.

The island, just a stone’s throw away from the mainland People’s Republic of China, is a favorite target of Beijing, which considers it a rebellious and wayward province.

In the event of a war, United States forces are poised to help Taiwan’s defenders cast off any invaders who set foot on the island.

President Trump was speaking about Nancy Pelosi’s career of insider trading that has made her and her San Francisco family very, very rich.

This week news broke that Nancy Pelosi’s husband dumped at least $500,000 of their Visa stock worth up to $1 million just weeks before the Department of Justice slapped the financial giant with an antitrust lawsuit.

Trump is right.

This isn’t the first time Paul Pelosi has traded at an opportune moment in time.

On July 3, a disclosure showed that the former Speaker of the House’s spouse unloaded 2,000 shares of Visa, valued somewhere between $500,000 and $1 million. All this, just three months before the federal hammer dropped.

“Speaker Pelosi does not own any stocks, and she has no prior knowledge or subsequent involvement in any transactions,” the congresswoman’s spokesperson told The Post.

Visa shares plummeted by 5.5% after the news of the lawsuit hit the markets. And yet, the Pelosis dodged that bullet by a matter of weeks. Coincidence? Skeptics are right to ask: How much did Nancy Pelosi know? Did her perch as a top Democratic power player give her insider knowledge that her husband conveniently acted upon?

Public records and filings don’t lie. Even though Paul Pelosi’s stock dump didn’t occur at the height of the market fallout, the timing of the sale—mere weeks before a bombshell antitrust lawsuit—raises a cloud of suspicion.

Last year, Paul Pelosi dumped 20,000 shares of Google stock in December – a month before the Department of Justice and Merrick Garland filed their antitrust lawsuit.

In 2022, Paul Pelosi exercised $1 million to $5 million Alphabet call options before Democrats proposed a congressional stock trading ban. In the same year, Paul Pelosi sold all of his NVIDIA stock just one day before Congress was set to vote on a bill that would boost domestic production of semiconductors.

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed evidence in the January 6 case in his latest attack against President Trump.

With 40 days to go until the presidential election, Jack Smith sent Judge Tanya Chutkan evidence in the January 6 case.

Judge Chutkan will decide whether to release the filing to the public.

President Trump’s attorneys are expected to object to the release of the filing.

The size of the filing was not disclosed, however, Judge Chutkan granted Jack Smith’s request to file a 180-page ‘opening brief’ on President Trump in the January 6 DC case.

Jack Smith knows he can’t get to trial before the election so he is trying to release a “hit piece” on Trump in the January 6 case as he addresses the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling.

Trump’s attorneys previously asked Chutkan to deny Jack Smith’s request to file a 180-page opening brief because it is quadruple the page limit in DC.

“The Motion is a new development illustrating the unprecedented and irregular nature of the Office’s approach on remand, as they are seeking permission to file a document that would quadruple the standard page limits in this District. The Office cites no case in which such relief was granted, just as they cited no authority for the previous request to file a free-standing brief relating to Presidential immunity that is not responsive to a pending defense motion,” Trump’s lawyers wrote in a 9-page court filing reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

Filings from special counsel Jack Smith laying out never-before-seen evidence in the election subversion case against Donald Trump – including interview transcripts and notes from an investigation that counted among its witnesses former Vice President Mike Pence, Ivanka Trump and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows – are now in the hands of a federal court.

It will now be up to District Judge Tanya Chutkan to determine how much of that evidence the public gets to see and when they will be able to see it.

Prosecutors filed the documents under seal as of 4:40 p.m. ET, according to Peter Carr, the special counsel office’s spokesman.

In an exclusive interview with TGP, Eduardo Bittar, leader of the Venezuelan libertarian resistance group “Rumbo Libertad”, issued a stark warning about how Chavismo hijacked the law to establish a dictatorship in Venezuela.

Since founding Rumbo Libertad in 2016, Bittar has been a vocal opponent of Nicolás Maduro’s socialist regime, which he says follows the authoritarian model set by Hugo Chávez.

Bittar detailed how the Chavista regime, initially masked as a democracy, manipulated the country’s legal structure to crush opposition, erode democratic institutions, and consolidate power in the hands of a socialist elite. In his interview, he stated:

“Chavismo learned to use democracy’s own tools to destroy it. They distorted the Constitution 12 times to change the laws, and now Maduro rules without limits.”

The Rumbo Libertad movement emerged as a response to the growing oppression of the Chavista regime and its brutal crackdown on dissidents.

According to Bittar, Venezuela’s current state is the direct result of a systematic dismantling of individual freedoms and democratic institutions, leading to the establishment of an authoritarian dictatorship that governs through impunity and fear.

Bittar also pointed to the country’s economic collapse as undeniable proof of the failure of Bolivarian socialism. He stated:

“Socialism destroyed the economy, created mass poverty, and left millions of people without access to basic necessities: food, medicine, and safety.”

Persecution of the Opposition

According to Eduardo Bittar, any attempt at political opposition has been crushed with violence. He claims the government’s strategy is to maintain absolute control over institutions while fostering a campaign of fear. He explained:

“Anyone who dares speak out against the regime is persecuted. They use arbitrary arrests, torture, and intimidation. This has become common practice to silence internal opposition and ensure the regime’s survival.”

Bittar also warned of false opposition figures, who act as a “supporting arm” of Maduro’s communist regime, such as Edmundo González. González ran against Maduro, won, but chose to flee to Spain rather than fight for the legal recognition of his victory.

This alliance of fake opposition serves to legitimize the dictatorship while weakening any real challenge to Maduro’s rule.
