The son of would-be assassin Ryan Routh was arrested for child pornography.

Oran Routh was taken into custody after investigators found hundreds of child porn files on his Galaxy Note during a search of his North Carolina residence over the weekend.

“A review of the SD card located in Device-1 revealed that it contained hundreds of child pornography files,” prosecutors wrote in the criminal complaint, according to ABC News. “These files include videos from a known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina.”

Oran Routh will appear in court on Tuesday on federal charges of possessing child pornography.

The son of Ryan Routh, the man arrested in connection with the second apparent assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, has been taken into custody on federal charges of possessing child pornography.

Investigators say they discovered “hundreds” of files with child pornography during a search of Oran Routh’s residence in Guilford County, North Carolina, on Saturday conducted “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”

The two charges he faces include receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

The “unrelated investigation” referred to Routh’s father — who remains in custody after a judge ordered him detained pending trial Monday — a spokesperson with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Carolina confirmed to ABC News.

Investigators said the pornography was found on a Samsung Galaxy Note device located inside Oran Routh’s primary bedroom in the residence, as well as another Galaxy Note device in Routh’s possession.

Ryan Routh appeared in court on Monday on two gun-related charges where a judge ordered him detained pending trial.

Oran previously spoke with the Daily Mail earlier this month.

“My dad hates Trump like every reasonable person does.” He even went so far as to say, “I don’t like Trump either,” but in the next breath tried to downplay his father’s actions, claiming, “He’s not a violent person.”

“He’s my dad and all he’s had is couple traffic tickets, as far as I know… That’s crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that’s nothing like him.”

“He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii,” Oran said.

The father and son had reportedly had a “falling out,” though Oran declined to elaborate on the reasons.

“I didn’t ask him for more information because we’ve had a falling out. We’ve grown apart.”

Despite their distance, Oran insisted, “He’s not a violent person. He’s a hard worker and a great dad. He’s a great dude, a nice guy and has worked his whole f***king life.”

Gunshots were fired at a Democrat Party campaign office in Tempe, Arizona, on Monday night.

The Tempe Police Department said the gunfire damage occurred overnight, and authorities are investigating the incident as a “property crime.”

Police reported there were no occupants of the office at the time of the shooting.

Sean McEnerney, who serves as the Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager, stated, “Overnight, several shots were fired into our Tempe Democratic Party coordinated campaign office.”

“We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured,” added McEnerney.

Authorities currently have no suspects in custody in connection to the shooting.

A Democratic Party campaign office was the target of gunfire in Tempe. No one was injured.

It’s not clear when the incident happened; a party spokesman on Sept. 23 said it occurred “overnight.” Tempe police said apparent gunfire damage was discovered at the party office near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive and they are investigating the incident as a property crime.

The office was unoccupied at the time, police said.

“Overnight, several shots were fired into our Tempe Democratic Party coordinated campaign office,” said Sean McEnerney, the Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager. “We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured.”

The Mesa Forensic Unit is also investigating the incident alongside the Tempe Police Department.

In yet another blatant example of Democrats’ willingness to silence anyone who dares to expose their hypocritical policies, Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski is under fire after his bold suggestion that residents should take note of homes displaying Kamala Harris yard signs—those same homes should be opened up to the very illegal immigrants that Harris and her leftist allies are so eager to flood into American communities.

Sheriff Zuchowski, a staunch Trump supporter, had the audacity to state what many hardworking Americans are thinking—if Harris supporters want open borders, they should bear the responsibility of hosting these “human locusts,” as the sheriff unapologetically called them.

His remarks ignited a firestorm among local liberals who couldn’t handle the truth being spoken so plainly.

In a Facebook post earlier this month, Zuchowski called out Harris, mocking her as a “Flip-Flopping, Laughing Hyena,” referencing her unpredictable stances and dismissive attitude toward real issues like immigration.

“When people ask me…What’s gonna happen if the Flip – Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say…write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo…when the Illegal human “Locust” (which she supports!) Need places to live…We’ll already have the addresses of the their New families…who supported their arrival!” Zuchowski wrote on Facebook.

But instead of embracing the sheriff’s challenge, local Democrats immediately pounced, scrambling to remove him from his election security duties. Apparently, ensuring secure elections is not something Democrats want a sheriff with strong American values overseeing.

In a 3-1 vote by the Portage County Board of Elections, Zuchowski was stripped of his responsibilities to protect absentee voters—a decision made not based on law, but on leftist fears of accountability.

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office cleared Zuchowski, finding that his post did not break any election laws, according to the Daily Beast.

Still, the outcry from left-wing activists, led by the local NAACP chapter, has fueled unnecessary hysteria.

Frank Hairson, a spokesperson for the group, fanned the flames, claiming that Harris supporters were suddenly afraid to vote. Afraid? Or just upset they were called out for their glaring hypocrisy?

In a public statement, Democrat Randi Clites, the county elections board chair, insinuated that having deputies present at polling stations would somehow intimidate voters.

Really? Is it intimidating for law-abiding citizens to see law enforcement ensuring a safe election? Or is this just another excuse for Democrats to strip authority from anyone who challenges their dangerous immigration policies?

Zuchowski, for his part, didn’t back down. While the sheriff acknowledged that his comments were perhaps “a little misinterpreted,” he clearly stands by the essence of his message.

He wrote:

“As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Portage County, I have sworn to protect ALL citizens of my County. Recently, I placed a post on my personal facebook page that may have been a little misinterpreted??

I…as the elected sheriff, do have a first amendment right as do all citizens. If the citizens of Portage County want to elect an individual who has supported open borders (which I’ve personally visited Twice!) and neglected to enforce the laws of our Country…then that is their prerogative. With elections, there are consequences. That being said…I believe that those who vote for individuals with liberal policies have to accept responsibility for their actions! I am a Law Man…Not a Politician!

I would also like to Thank…The Overwhelming Support I am receiving from many people in Portage County who are afraid or are Not allowed to agree with me publicly!

Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) fired off a letter to Kamala Harris and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Friday, seeking a correction to Harris’ lies about active-duty military troops who are placed in harm’s way in the Middle East.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Kamala Harris falsely bragged in the September 10 debate with President Trump that there are no American men and women serving in a combat zone today.

This was instantly fact-checked by U.S. Military troops serving in a combat zone who were watching this in real time.

Americans are not only serving in dangerous areas and war zones; they are still being injured and killed, as Gosar's letter to Harris and Austin notes.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Gosar also sent a letter to Lloyd Austin in February highlighting and requesting information regarding the military's presence in the Middle East following an airstrike that killed three troops and injured over 40 Arizona National Guardsmen at Tower 22 in Jordan. "In the response, the DOD claims U.S. troops are deployed to the Middle East to counter Iranian influence, but could not discuss the status of service members overseas," Gosar writes.

While Kamala Harris claims that not a single American troop is currently serving in a combat zone, Gosar emphasizes that a June 2024 press release from the U.S. Central Command states, "From January to June 2024, ISIS has claimed 153 attacks in Iraq and Syria" and underlines ISIS's pathway to "more than double the total number of attacks they claimed in 2023."

The Arizona Republican further suggests that Harris's denial of troops in combat zones infers that these troops do not deserve combat pay or will be withdrawn before they can receive increased pay.

"These false statements dishonor the men and women still stationed abroad and those American soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation," Gosar writes, adding, "Vice President Harris's public denial of their presence in combat zones is detrimental to morale."

Gosar's letter to Austin and Harris concludes with the following ask:

I request that you immediately correct the record. These false statements dishonor the men and women still stationed abroad and those American soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defenseof our nation. Further, I respectfully request the following information:

• If the belief is still held that there are no troops in combat zones, how do you define the term, "combat zone?"
• Does the term differ in use by the White House compared to the DOD?
• Please provide a list of the combat zones recognized by the White House.
• How many active duty service members are stationed in combat zones?
• Are these service members receiving combat pay, also known as imminent danger pay?
• How many members of the Arizona National Guard are still deployed to Jordan?
• Is the mission in Iraq still to counter Iran or has the mission evolved?
• How does this affect greater risk to service members?
• How is the DoD protecting U.S. service members overseas from this known pattern of attacks?
• The Congressional Research Service reports there are eight permanent bases and 1 other U.S. military sites in the Middle East. Is this accurate?
• Reuters reported the United States is planning to withdraw some U.S. troops from Iraq in 2025. Is this accurate?
  • Is there aplan to withdraw our service members from any ofthese foreign facilities?

This week I sent letter to Vice President Harris and Department of Defense Secretary Austin in response to recent false claims by the Vice President that “there is not one member of the United States miliary who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world, the first time this century.”  This is a bold face lie.  In fact, the United States has 2,500 troops being fired or in harm’s way in Iraq and 900 troops in Syria, both designated combat zones.  U.S. naval ships are under constant attack by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea.

Kamala’s latest lie is particularly galling here at home.  Last September, more than 350 Arizona Guardsmen were deployed to the Middle East as part of Task Force Spartan in support of CENTCOM.  Tragically, on January 28, 2024, a drone strike in Jordan killed three U.S. service members and injured over forty others.  Most of the injured were members of the 1^st Battalion, 158^th Infantry Regiment, or “Bushmasters,” of the Arizona National Guard, including Guardsmen from Phoenix, Tucson, Florence, Prescott, and Buckeye.

Kamala Harris cannot dishonor our troops for political gain, nor should our service members overseas feel abandoned by their country.  VP Harris’ public denial of their presence in combat zones is detrimental to morale and is a slap in the face to all brave men and women in combat’s harm.

Kamala has promised to make rents and homeownership more affordable, but her multi-step plan will likely lead to a housing shortage, higher prices, and excessive government control over businesses. At the same time, it risks increasing people’s dependence on government assistance. By interfering with market dynamics and imposing restrictions, the plan could backfire, reducing private investment and worsening the very problems it aims to solve.

Kamala Harris’ multi-step housing plan aims to build 3 million affordable rental units and homes, penalize companies that hoard available units to drive up prices, and provide up to $25,000 in aid for first-time homebuyers. It also seeks to outlaw new forms of price-fixing by corporate landlords, reduce regulatory barriers, and cut red tape to expedite housing construction. These efforts are designed to make both renting and homeownership more accessible while addressing supply shortages and price inflation.

Building 3 million affordable housing units means developers would essentially be forced to sell below market price, possibly even below cost. To make it worthwhile, the government would need to subsidize them, meaning taxpayers foot the bill. This turns into a double waste: not only are public funds used to subsidize housing that could be sold for more, but those who qualify for these homes are often paying less in taxes, making it an inefficient redistribution of resources at the expense of taxpayers.

Since this is a government-funded program, the government can impose any requirements they see fit on developers, such as vaccine mandates or DEI hiring quotas. They would also control where and how many units get built, essentially central planning, which is a hallmark of communism. The promise to “cut red tape” could be used to force low-cost, multi-family housing into higher-end neighborhoods, driving down property values, increasing crime, and overburdening local schools, all while taxpayers are left funding a program that undermines their own communities.

The Joe-Kamala axis have proved that they love inflation and offering $25,000 aid for first-time homebuyers will help to inflate the housing market. Giving people free money artificially inflates demand without addressing the core issue of supply. This pushes housing prices higher, making the market even less accessible for buyers. This policy will worsen affordability by adding unnecessary pressure on an already tight market.

Outlawing price-fixing by landlords is a populist move designed to win over voters who feel their rent is too high, but the reality is different. Price-fixing among landlords isn’t the cause of rising rents. While collusion could happen, nothing prevents new landlords from entering the market and charging lower rents, and homeowners can rent out spare rooms at a lower price. The truth is, rent increases reflect market conditions, not conspiracy.

One major reason landlords charge more now is because eviction laws have become so liberal that it’s nearly impossible in some states and jurisdictions to evict tenants who don’t pay. As a result, landlords must raise rents, demand higher deposits, and conduct more invasive credit checks to protect themselves. And we can thank the Joe-Kamala axis for these weak eviction laws, which only make it harder for property owners to protect their investments.

Letting markets determine rental prices is a more effective approach than government-imposed restrictions. When the government interferes with voluntary price-setting, it discourages investment in rental properties. Landlords may pull their units from the market or stop renting altogether, which would worsen the housing shortage. Ironically, these landlords could then be accused of violating Kamala’s proposed hoarding law. The government’s heavy-handed approach could end up creating the very crisis it’s trying to solve by undermining both supply and market efficiency.

To curb hoarding, the government would first need to define it clearly. Would hoarding laws limit how many units a company can own, or would they dictate how long a property can be held? What if the market is in a downturn and an owner wants to wait for prices to rise—is that considered hoarding? This aspect of the plan is particularly alarming because it gives the government control over the quantity and timing of property sales. Not only does this violate free market principles, but it also infringes on private property rights, which are essential for a market-driven economy to function properly.

Preventing builders from earning a profit or timing their sales will discourage investment in properties outside government-subsidized programs. This lack of private investment would lead to a shortage of government-backed housing while simultaneously driving up prices for everyone else. By distorting the natural incentives for builders, the plan risks creating scarcity in both subsidized and private housing markets, ultimately hurting buyers across the board.

If Kamala manages to sign her plan into law, taxes will increase, government debt will rise, and inflation will surge. Homes outside the government building scheme will become scarcer and more expensive, forcing more Americans onto waiting lists for government housing—just like in communist countries. This will lead to greater dependence on the state, as people find it harder to secure housing through the free market, with the government controlling an ever-larger share of the housing sector.
