RFK Jr., Democrat Senator Angela Alsobrooks

President Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee on Thursday.

Thursday’s confirmation hearing before the HELP Committee comes one day after Senators on the Finance Committee grilled RFK Jr.

Once again, the confirmation hearing devolved into chaos as Democrat Senators showboated and asked RFK Jr. ridiculous questions.

RFK Jr. did a great job hitting back at Democrat Senator Angela Alsobrooks (MD) during a testy exchange.

“I will be voting against your nomination.. your views are dangerous to our country,” Democrat Senator Alsobrooks said to RFK Jr.

“You said the following, ‘We should not be giving black people the same vaccine schedule that is given to whites because their immune system is better than ours,’” Alsobrooks said to RFK Jr.

“What different vaccine schedules would you say I should receive?” Senator Angela Alsobrooks asked RFK Jr.

“Articles suggest that blacks need fewer antigens,” RFK Jr. replied.

“This is so dangerous,” Alsobrooks said.

“It’s science,” RFK Jr. said. “This is published peer-reviewed studies.”

“I yield,” Senator Alsobrooks said.

A preliminary FAA report indicated that staffing at the DCA Air Traffic Control tower was “not normal” at the time of the helicopter-plane collision.

According to NBC News, at the time of the collision, one controller was overseeing both helicopter and airplane traffic.

Typically, one controller focuses on helicopter activity.

An American Airlines flight carrying approximately 64 souls collided with a Blackhawk helicopter near Washington D.C. Reagan National Airport (DCA) late Wednesday evening.

All 67 people perished.

Webcam video from the Kennedy Center showed the Blackhawk helicopter seemingly flying into the American Airlines plane.

The FAA report revealed the staffing at DCA ATC was “not normal” for the amount of traffic at the airport in the evening.

NBC News reported:

A preliminary FAA report on the collision found that air traffic control tower staffing at Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) was “not normal” for the amount of air traffic and for the time of day, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.

The tower typically has a controller that focuses specifically on helicopter traffic. But at the time of the crash last night, the source said, one controller at DCA was overseeing both airplane and helicopter activity.

FAA guidelines do allow for this position to be combined, permitting one controller to control both airplanes and helicopters.

The Black Hawk’s crew was operating under night vision conditions, and the purpose of the flight was to maintain required operational proficiency.

“It was an annual proficiency training flight,” said Hegseth in a video statement.

“When we look at the crew, and not all can have been notified, so we’re going to withhold the ranks and names at this point. We do know on our side who was involved.

He added, “It was a fairly experienced crew that was doing a required annual night evaluation. They did have night vision goggles.”

The much-anticipated showdown between President Trump’s FBI Director nominee, Kash Patel, and crooked Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) became an easy rout for Patel as Schiff face-planted over a simple word.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Patel sat down this morning to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee for confirmation beginning at 9:30 A.M. Patel’s impressive qualifications include several high-ranking positions in the intelligence and defense communities, such as Department of Defense Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of National Intelligence under President Trump.

The Gateway Pundit recently revealed that Patel is already working with Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and building plans to crush the deep state. Comer revealed that he had a lengthy discussion with Kash Patel and said, “Mr. Patel is the right man for the job. He recognizes the importance of ending the weaponization of federal law enforcement and holding Deep State bureaucrats accountable. Change is here!”

However, Patel’s incredible record as a change agent is precisely what Democrat senators fear. After watching several of his fellow Democrat colleagues get dunked on by Patel this morning, Schiff decided to press his luck in the most disgusting and weird way possible.

After smearing the FBI nominee with predictable lies for a few minutes, Schiff decided to try to pin Patel with a bizarre question regarding Patel supposedly recording alongside the January 6th choir while debating the definition of the word “we.”

Of course, ‘we’ generally refers to you and a group of people. Still, an individual can also use it to signal solidarity with another entity or group of individuals. For example, sports fans often use ‘we’ when discussing their favorite team, even though they don’t play alongside them.

But this fact was unsurprisingly lost on Schiff.

“When Trump recited the Pledge of Allegiance, then WE went to a studio and mastered it, digitized it, and put it out as a song exclusively on the (unintelligible),” Schiff read. “WE, WE, WE!”

If you had nothing to do with it, Mr. Patel, why did you tell Steve Bannon and all of his listeners that you did?

But Patel quickly put Schiff on the defensive by pointing out the obvious.

“That’s why it says ‘we,’ as you highlighted,” Patel replied.

“But you’re part of the ‘we’ right,” Schiff responded. “That includes you, Mr. Patel, doesn’t it.”

“Not in every instance,” Patel answered.

WATCH:

This caused a confused Schiff to pause momentarily before he tried again to pin down Patel.

“That’s new!” he exclaimed. “So, when you said ‘we,’ you didn’t really mean ‘you.’ Is that your testimony?”

“Not unless you have a new definition of the word ‘we,’ Patel calmly replied.

“Well, I thought the word ‘we’ always included the person who pronounced the word,” a stunned Schiff concluded. “But maybe not!”

Three wildfires have erupted near North Carolina towns that were severely impacted by Hurricane Helene last year.

The first wildfire, called the Crooked Creek Fire, started in McDowell County on Wednesday. It burned nearly 250 acres and was only 55% contained.

A second wildfire, the North Fork Fire, started hours after the Crooked Creek Fire burned 60 acres and is 0% contained.

The McDowell County Emergency Services stated, “Local fire departments are on scene and working in coordination with the U.S. Forest Service to provide structure protection and monitor fire behavior.”

“Emergency personnel will continue to remain on-site throughout the day to monitor the situation and ensure further containment of the fire,” added fire officials.

There have been no fatalities or injuries from teh wildfires as of Thursday morning.

Per CBS:

A second wildfire has erupted in western North Carolina’s McDowell County, an area that was ravaged by Hurricane Helene just four months ago, nearly to the day, officials said. The fire, dubbed the North Fork Fire, comes a day after the Crooked Creek Fire suddenly arose in the county’s town of Old Fort, a town of just 800 people.

McDowell County Emergency Services said Thursday morning that they are actively monitoring the North Fork Fire, which has so far grown to 60 acres and is 0% contained. At this time, the department said, “there is no imminent threat to structures.”

“Local fire departments are on scene and working in coordination with the U.S. Forest Service to provide structure protection and monitor fire behavior,” the department said. “Crews will continue containment efforts throughout the day.”

The North Fork Fire, which is in the town of Marion, arose just hours after the Crooked Creek Fire developed in Old Fort. Originally, McDowell emergency officials described Crooked Creek as “out of control.” In their latest update just before 7 a.m. local time on Thursday, they said that the fire had grown to an estimated 250 acres and was 55% contained and that “significant progress” had been made overnight.

“Winds diminished and relative humidity increased leading to lower fire activity,” officials said, adding that the progress meant that evacuation orders for affected areas would be lifted at 8 a.m. local time. “Emergency personnel will continue to remain on-site throughout the day to monitor the situation and ensure further containment of the fire.”
