Menendez Stuns Reporters with Remarks About Trump After Being Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison (VIDEO)

Bob Menendez speaks to the press after judge sentences him to 11 years in prison
As reported earlier, former Democrat Senator Bob Menendez, 71, sobbed in court as he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for bribery and corruption.
A tearful Menendez sobbed as he begged SDNY Judge Sidney Stein to have mercy on him.
The judge showed no mercy to âGold Bar Bobâ and sentenced him to 11 years.
Judge Stein: Almost half a million dollars in your house, cash stuffed in shoes, gold bars⊠Hubris, youâll have to figure it out yourself. General deterrence is important. The sentence I intend to impose is 11 years
Last summer a jury convicted Senator Bob Menendez on all bribery and corruption charges.
The jury returned the verdict following a 9-week trial. Menendez did not testify.
In October 2023 Bob Menendez was charged with acting as a foreign agent in a superseding indictment.
The indictment filed by a federal grand jury in Manhattan claims Menendez âprovided sensitive U.S. Government information and took other steps that secretly aided the Government of Egypt.â
Menendez was previously hit with a second superseding indictment for praising Qatar in exchange for luxury watches.
Special agents discovered $500,000 of cash stuffed into envelopes in closets. âSome of the cash was stuffed in the Senatorâs jacket pockets. Menendezâs wife Nadine Menendez was given a âno-showâ or âlow-showâ job, a Mercedes Benz and other things of value, US Attorney Damian Williams said last year.
The judge told Menendez that the jury was right to convict him.
Following his brutal sentencing, Menendez stunned reporters as he praised President Trump.
âPresident Trump was right. This process is political, and itâs corrupted to the core. I hope President Trump cleans up the cesspool and restores the integrity to the system,â Menendez said.
This is rich coming from Menendez after he voted to convict President Trump during the scam impeachments.

WATCH: Trump Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller Explains What Role Military and Insurrection Act Will Play in Deporting Illegals and Countering Cartels Amid Gunfight Incident at Southern Border
January 29, 2025
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller
President Trumpâs deputy chief of staff for policy, Stephen Miller, joined CNNâs Jake Tapper on Tuesday and discussed the administrationâs plans to use US Military troops to eradicate cartel presence on the Southern Border.Â
President Trump, immediately after taking office on day one, signed an executive order designating cartel groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). He further signed an executive order, declaring a national emergency on the Southern Border.
President Trump has already sent US troops to the southern border, and military cargo planes are being used for the first time in history to deport planeloads of illegal aliens from Arizona and Texas.
Miller on Tuesday hinted that Trump may also invoke the Insurrection Act to combat the cartels in line with the ânational objective of eradicating their physical presence on US soil.â This law allows the President to deploy the military domestically. President Trumpâs executive order to declare a national emergency at the border references the Insurrection Act as âadditional actions that may be necessary to obtain complete operational control of the southern border.â
This comes after recent incidents of cartel violence on the Southern Border. As The Gateway Pundit reported, on Monday, Border Patrol agents exchanged gunfire with Mexican drug cartel members who tried to bring a group of illegals over the border in Fronton, Texas.
Border Czar Tom Homan also responded to these developments Wednesday, saying, "the whole of government is going to dismantle these people and wipe them off the face of the earth." Homan continued, âThe Trump administration is going to take them on, just like he did the Caliphate, and weâre going to destroy them.â
Miller says that invoking the Insurrection Act "is still being considered based on operational needs on the southern border" and would be used "specifically in the context of countering that cartel threat." However, it does not appear that the military will be used to conduct raids on illegal aliens in American cities. "In the interior, it's going to be about enrolling state and local law enforcement to massively increase the supply of guns and badges to conduct these immigration raids," Miller says.
The White House deferred to Miller's comments when we asked how the Trump Administration plans to address the violence from Cartels at the southern border and whether they plan to use military force to combat the Foreign Terrorist Organizations on the border.
Watch below:
Miller: ICE is absolutely prioritizing terrorists, public safety threats, and national security threats. It is also true that Joe Biden admitted some unknowably large number of millions of illegal immigrants into this country, all of whom are ineligible for asylum, ineligible for any form of immigration relief, are ineligible to remain in the country.
So, if you look at public polling on this issue, about 70% of Americans think that everybody that Joe Biden let in should be removed. About 80% of Americans agree that all criminal aliens should be removed. That's the baseline of public opinion support.
Tapper: So you are going to prioritize the violent criminals, though?
Miller: Yes, but we're not going to immunize everybody that Joe Biden let in. I mean, let me just, let me ask you a hypothetical and you can treat as a rhetorical question, not answer it if you don't want to, Jake.
Let's say that an illegal alien arrived in the last three months of the Biden administration from, say, Peru. He was released. He failed to appear in immigration court.
He was issued a final removal order, showed up, got released, didn't appear, wasn't deported, been here for six months. Is it your position, Jake, that that guy should get to stay till the end of his life? I mean, what kind of country can run that way? I mean, no country in the world runs that way.
Tapper: So, let me ask you: President Trump has left the door open to invoking the Insurrection Act, which would allow him to use military forces, US military forces, inside the United States for law enforcement. What would that look like? Are we going to see US troops in American cities arresting undocumented immigrants? Tell us what this is about.
Miller:Â So, the insurrection act in this context mostly applies to considerations related to the border and the cartel threat. So, we've already seen two shooting incidences in the last two days of suspected cartel violence against Border Patrol agents.
President Trump's clampdown and closure of the southern border has disrupted the flow of funds to the most ruthless and dangerous organizations on planet Earth, like the Sinaloa Cartel, like the Mexican Mafia.
These are organizations that are being designated as foreign terrorist organizations, and the President has set the national objective of eradicating their physical presence on US soil. So, you should understand considerations about the insurrection act in that context.
Tapper: With respect to interior enforcement, that's where a program known as 287G comes into play, that you're probably familiar with, and that's where we're going to be enrolling state police, local police, local sheriffs, and law enforcement across the nation into federal immigration programs, and that's how we're going to significantly increase the arrest numbers.
But is the insurrection act going to possibly be used to use the US military to go after undocumented immigrants in American cities and American towns? Is the door open for that?
Miller: Right now, the Insurrection Act, which is still being considered based on operational needs on the southern border until a decision has been made, is specifically in the context of countering that cartel threat. In the interior, it's going to be about enrolling state and local law enforcement to massively increase the supply of guns and badges to conduct these immigration raids.
New York Magazine Hit Piece Whitewashes Photo, Crops Out Black Conservatives Including Party Co-Host CJ Pearson

In an article meant to smear conservatives as racists, New York Magazine revealed their own disturbing agenda.
Conservative political commentator CJ Pearson co-hosted a party to celebrate social media creators who helped propel President Trump to victory in November.
Pearson and his guests were joined by Rappers Lil Pump and Waka Flocka Flame and hundreds of guests at Sax Lounge in DC on January 19, the night before the inauguration.
New York Magazineâs Brock Coylar, however, chose a different angle, seeming to imply that the event was a homogenous âWhiteâ event.
On Monday, NY Mag published Coylarâs article, The Cruel Kidsâ Table, featuring a cover photo that edited out any Black guests, including co-host Pearson, from the image.
Coylar even claimed a fellow party guest said, âHave you noticed the entire room is white?â to underscore the narrative.
Pearson told The New York Post, âIt would have undermined this entire narrative that they wanted to perpetuate, which is that MAGA is some racially homogenous movement of people.â
He added, âIt took willful ignorance to ignore the diversity that was present at the event as New York Magazine so clearly did, by ⊠not even reaching out to me.â
Pearson remarked on X, âI hosted this event and @NYMag intentionally left me out of their story because it would have undermined their narrative that MAGA is some racist cult.â
âThey also didnât include the fact that @WakaFlocka and @Gervontaa were also there.â
âYou donât hate the liberal media enough.â
This is insane.
I hosted this event and @NYMag intentionally left me out of their story because it would have undermined their narrative that MAGA is some racist cult. They also didnât include the fact that @WakaFlocka and @Gervontaa were also there.
Rob Smith, who also attended the party, echoed Pearsonâs criticism saying, âI was at this party as were MANY other Conservative media influencers who are Black, Latino, Asian, etc.â
â@NYMag used a whites only photo to push the media narrative that diverse Republicans donât exist and werenât welcome.â
