Disgraceful: EU’s Top Diplomat Calls for “New Leader of the Free World” After Ungrateful Zelensky Is Told to Leave the White House

Kaja Kallas wants a “new leader of the free world.”

The European Union’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas, a legend in international diplomacy (kidding), lashed out at President Trump after Volodymyr Zelensky’s disgraceful and rude display on Friday in the Trump White House.

Earlier today, ungrateful Ukrainian President Zelensky waltzed into the Trump White House and treated President Trump and the American people with total disdain.

President Trump ended the talks after several minutes due to Zelensky’s rude behavior.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and NSA advisor Michael Waltz then went into the Roosevelt Room to ask Zelenskyy to leave, Rubio made it clear that any further engagements today would be counterproductive. Waltz told Zelenskyy he had made a tremendous mistake, and it was a grave disservice to Ukraine and to Americans.

It is the first time a US President kicked out a world leader from the White House in recent memory.

Following this horrible display, the EU’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas tweeted out that we need “a new leader of the free world.”

Kaja wants the EU to take up this world leadership position – and if you disagree with her the EU will arrest you and threaten you at your home!

Or, was this just a direct threat against President Trump?

This isn’t the first time Kallas has attacked President Trump.

RT reported:

Kallas previously accused Trump of adopting “Russian narratives and talking points” about the Ukraine conflict, and expressed concern over what she described as Washington’s shift away from its longtime European allies.

She also pushed back against criticisms of democracy in the EU made by Vice President Vance at the Munich Security Conference – remarks that Trump praised as “brilliant.” “I refuse to accept that criticism, because it’s just simply not true,” Kallas said.

In recent weeks, Trump has made several critical statements about Ukraine’s leadership, describing Zelensky as a “dictator without elections” and suggesting that Kiev bears responsibility for allowing hostilities to escalate in 2022.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adam Mendoza has revealed the bodies of actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, have tested negative for carbon monoxide.

Sheriff Mendoza further revealed Hackman’s pacemaker recorded its last activity on February 17, which authorities now suspect was the day Hackman died.

A toxicology and autopsy report for the couple is still pending and is expected to take a month until results are revealed.

Mendoza also noted there is still “uncertainty” over the cause of Hackamn and Arakawa’s death and an investigation is still ongoing.

Per NBC News:

Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, tested negative for carbon monoxide poisoning officials said Friday as they continue to investigate what caused the couple’s deaths.

The pair were found dead at their Santa Fe, New Mexico, home Wednesday. Hackman likely died more than a week earlier — on Feb. 17, the last day his pacemaker recorded an “event,” Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said at a Friday news conference.

“I think that is a very good assumption, that that was his last day of life,” Mendoza said.

Both Hackman and Arakawa tested negative for carbon monoxide poisoning, Mendoza said, but added that the pathologist would be the one to rule out the poisonous gas as the cause of death.

He also said it was likely neither Hackman nor Arakawa had a fatal fall, because there was “no trauma indicated on the body,” he said Friday.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Hackman and his wife’s body were discovered in a mummified state upon discovery.

AI-generated image by Grok – President Trump between European Commissioner von der Leyen and top EU diplomat Kaja Kallas.

By now, most nations of the world have recalibrated their foreign policies to deal with the ‘Trump tornado.’

When it comes to the European Union, as much as they may engage in occasional bravado in front of the cameras, their officials are working intently to be on President Donald J. Trump’s good side – and so far, it’s not working.

Armed with the US military might and threatening to curtail access to the gigantic American consumers’ market, the President is advancing his Foreign Policy agenda without much regard to the opinion of the European Globalist-Liberal establishment – that nefarious entity that captured the group of Western nations that formerly were good US allies.

Watch Trump: ‘The European Union was formed in order to screw the United States’.

“Look, let’s be honest, the European Union was formed in order to screw the United States. That’s the purpose of it, and they’ve done a good job of it. But now I’m president.”

Yesterday (27), the European Commission was striving to paint its engagement with the Trump administration in the best light after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio canceled a meeting with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas at the last minute.

Euronews reported:

“Kallas was already in Washington DC when the news broke the encounter had been called off due to ‘scheduling issues’. The snub left Kallas without what was supposed to be the highest-level meeting of her two-day visit to the capital.”

Neither the EU nor the US side have explained the nature of the scheduling issue.

Add to that the fact that Trump has reaffirmed his intention of imposing 25% tariffs on EU-made goods, and we understand the picture not to be rosy at all for the Eurocrats.

“The back-to-back events – the cancellation of the Kallas-Rubio meeting and the announcement of steep tariffs – cast doubt over the Commission’s ability to develop a functioning relationship with the new White House and its mercurial tenant.”

Eurocrats want to keep the continent from moving right with censure, ‘firewalling’ right-wing parties and even canceling elections.

The Euronews report makes a puerile point of suggesting that relations are going badly because Trump is ‘mercurial’, oblivious to the fact that his popular mandate is to defy EU’s censorship, ‘firewalling’ of conservatives and even the canceling of elections and arrest of the favorite candidate, as in Romania.

“Despite the public setbacks, the Commission insists its engagement with the other side of the Atlantic has been so far ‘good’ and ‘positive’.

‘High-level political contacts between the Commission and the US counterpart have been ongoing since the Trump administration, even in the weeks before’, Arianna Podestà, the Commission’s deputy chief spokesperson, said on Thursday. ‘The important aspect is that these contacts are taking place and are focusing on what matters most for the European citizens (and) European businesses’, Podestà added.

‘The reasons to be in contact are numerous, be it economical, be it geopolitical, and we continue to engage on all. And this is positive itself’.”

Zelensky gets humiliated by President Trump and Vice President JD Vance

During what was supposed to be a cordial meeting, followed by a lunch and a joint press conference between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, fireworks erupted when Vice President JD Vance urged diplomacy and called Zelenskyy out for “trying to litigate this in front of the American media” and pointed out that he is “going around forcing conscripts to the frontlines because [he] has manpower problems.”

After making a veiled threat to the United States, claiming we don’t “feel it” now because we have a “nice ocean” around us but “will feel it in the future,” President Trump inserted himself telling Zelenskyy not to “tell us what we’re going to feel.”

“Don’t tell us what to feel.  We are trying to solve a problem.  Don’t tell us what to feel because you’re in no position to dictate that.  Remember that.  You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel,” President Trump said.  “You don’t have the cards right now.  With us, you start having cards…you’re gambling with the lives of millions of people.   You’re gambling with World War III.”

Zelenskyy ended up being removed from the White House before lunch and with no deal from President Trump.

Shortly after leaving the White House, Zelenskyy put out a statement on X:

Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you POTUS, Congress, and the American people. Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.

Within an hour, European leaders began echoing the same exact message in a coordinated response to today’s meltdown from the Ukraine President in the Oval Office.  Ursula von der Leyen, President of the EU Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, EU Commission, Roberta Metsola, President of EU Parliament, Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, and Manfred Weber, President of the European People’s Party all posted to X:

“Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukranian people.

Be strong, be brave, be fearless.  You are never alone, dear President Zelenskyy.

We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.”

Zelenskyy’s account on X went on its own “gratitude” campaign, reposting more than two dozen messages to Ukraine with the response, “Thank you for your support.”

Among those thanked were Andrej Plenkovic, the Prime Minister of Croatia, Finland Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal, Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland Simon Harris, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, President Luc Frieden of the Netherlands, French President Emmanuel Macron, Portugese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro, the Swedish Prime Minister’s account, German Chancellor-elect Friedrich Merz and Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Czech President Petr Pavel, and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, among other NATO leaders.

Notably absent was Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Slovakian President Robert Fico.

Are the United States’ days in NATO numbered?  Before the meeting took place, disgraced former NSA director John Bolton was on CNN saying that “we are now as close to Russia as an ally as we’ve ever been” and that “we are on the path out of NATO.”

President Trump spoke to reporters on the White House South Lawn following a heated exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday.

Before departing the White House to return to his Florida home for the weekend, the President spoke to reporters wearing his signature red MAGA hat.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the fireworks that erupted in the Oval Office on Friday, leading to Zelensky being kicked out of the White House.

Vance called Zelensky out for being disrespectful to the President, and President Trump blasted him for “gambling with World War III.”

WATCH:

A scheduled press conference with President Trump and Zelensky was abruptly canceled, and Zelensky was kicked to the curb after he disrespected President Trump in the Oval Office.

Ukraine had previously agreed to Trump’s requested mineral rights deal with the US to compensate Americans for the hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money Joe Biden gave them over the last four years, but the agreement was not officialized Friday.

A White House spokesperson confirmed on background that the deal was not signed.

BREAKING: Zelensky to Skip Press Conference with Trump After He’s Kicked Out of The White House – Trump Says “Zelensky is Not Ready for Peace”

President Trump began his press gaggle before boarding the Marine One helicopter by touting his accomplishments and several world leaders flocking to the White House. However, his meeting with Zelensky earlier "didn't work out exactly great," the President said.

When asked by a reporter what Zelensky needs to do to restart talks, President Trump said, "He's got to say, I want to make peace. He doesn't have to stand there and say about Putin this, Putin that, all negative things. He's got to say, I want to make peace. I don't want to fight a war any longer. His people are dying. He doesn't have the cards, just so you understand that."

"He wants to come back right now, but I can't do that," the President added. He further called for an "immediate ceasefire," noting that "if he fights it out, it's not going to be pretty."

Watch below:

Trump: We had a meeting today, as you know, with President Zelensky, and I would say it didn't work out exactly great. From his standpoint, I think he very much overplayed his hand. We're looking for peace. We're not looking for somebody that's going to sign up a strong power and then not make peace because they feel emboldened, and that's what I saw happening. I'm looking for peace. We're not looking to go into a 10 year war and play games. We want peace.

It was just my impression that if we do that, if we sign up, he's looking for something that I'm not looking for. He's looking to go on and fight, fight, fight. We're looking to end the death. 2,000, approximately, people died this week, young Ukrainians and Russians and somebody would say, Why do you care about Ukraine and Russian soldiers? I care about them. I Care about everybody. We're not doing that. Now, if we don't do anything, he's going to have to make peace, but he's dealing with a very weak set of cards. If we sign, he's dealing with a very strong set of cards, and then he doesn't want to make peace. So, that's where we are. It's very simple. I'm not looking to get into anything protracted. I want immediate peace. President Putin is going to want to make, and he wants to make— he wants to end it. And you saw what I saw today. This is a man that wants to get us signed up and keep fighting. And we're not doing that, not for this country.
