In a decisive move to advance public safety and accountability, Tennessee has enacted HB 1349/SB 1146, a landmark law mandating toxicology testing for psychotropic drugs in deceased mass shooters.

This legislation, championed by AbleChild a national nonprofit advocating for informed consent in mental health and co-drafted with Amy Miller, former director of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Reform Pharma initiative, positions Tennessee at the forefront of a national reckoning at the intersection of mental health, pharmaceutical practices, and mass violence.

Key Highlights:

  • Mandatory toxicology testing for psychotropic drugs in autopsies of deceased mass shooters who kill four or more individuals.
  • University of Tennessee Health Science Center to study interactions between psychotropic drugs and other substances in perpetrators’ systems.
  •  Bipartisan support: Passed 76-20 in the House and 27-5 in the Senate, reflecting broad legislative consensus.

This law directly challenges the longstanding secrecy surrounding the role of behavioral health treatments and pharmaceutical products in acts of mass violence.

By prioritizing transparency, Tennessee’s legislation seeks to ensure that the policymakers and researchers have access to critical information that could inform lawmakers regarding legislation to protect the public.

“This law isn’t just about Tennessee. It’s a blueprint for dismantling the wall of secrecy protecting industries that profit from ignorance,” said Sheila Matthews, AbleChild co-founder.

“When someone commits mass murder,” Matthews continued, “the public has a right to know if mind-altering drugs played a role.”

This important legislation could not have been possible without the grassroot efforts of the American people and the few on the front lines with AbleChild and Amy Miller in Tennessee for two legislative sessions to get this over the wall.

The AbleChild bill is about demanding rigorous oversight and accountability in the use of powerful psychiatric drugs-especially when public safety is at stake.

This also prevents the mental health industry from stigmatizing their own clients during police investigations, blaming the diagnosis instead of the powerful mind-altering drugs prescribed…often cocktails of drugs.

Tennessee affirms that the right to safety and truth in the wake of mass violence outweighs the privacy interests of perpetrators.

National Implications

AbleChild’s campaign for this legislation is part of a broader movement to examine HIPAA exceptions for mass violence perpetrators, expose potential conflicts of interest between mental health organizations and pharmaceutical funding, and combat unsafe prescribing practices-particularly among vulnerable populations like children in foster care.

Senator Rusty Crowe and Representative Mary Littleton should be acknowledged for their courage and leadership in spearheading the passage of this landmark bill.

Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor CUTS OFF Justice Jackson During Oral Arguments on Religious Charter School Case
April 30, 2025

Liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor interrupted and scolded fellow liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on Wednesday during oral arguments on a religious charter school case.

At issue is Oklahoma’s effort to create an online Catholic charter school.

If the Supreme Court rules in favor of St. Isadore of Seville Catholic Virtual School, taxpayer money will be used to fund ‘religious education.’

Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the case. The Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling this summer.

Solicitor General John Sauer argued in support of St. Isadore on Wednesday during oral arguments.

“U.S. Solicitor General John Sauer said if there were a requirement to teach evolution and a school rejected it, there would be no opt-out for the school. The state would argue a compelling interest in teaching the subject and the court would have to assess it, he said,” USA Today reported.

Oklahoma’s Attorney General Gentner Drummond argued against his state creating the country’s first taxpayer-funded religious public charter school.

Drummond argued that allowing St. Isadore school would threaten religious liberty.

“Gregory Garre, representing the Oklahoma attorney general, told the justices that St. Isidore is seeking a special status: the right to establish a religious charter school plus an exemption from non-discrimination requirements that apply to every other charter school and distinguish public schools from private schools,” USA Today reported.

During oral arguments on Wednesday, Justice Kavanaugh said excluding a Catholic charter school from Oklahoma’s state program seems like “rank discrimination against religion.”

Pete Hegseth Declares “Recruiting Renaissance” in Cabinet Meeting Update: “We’re Making the Military Great Again” (VIDEO)
April 30, 2025

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday, during a meeting with the President and the rest of the cabinet, cheered the Department of Defense’s “recruiting Renaissance” following their inheritance of Joe Biden’s “weak” and “demoralized” military.

“What we have seen since your election and the inauguration has been nothing short of a recruiting Renaissance,” Hegseth told the President. “It has been decades since we’ve seen this kind of recruiting in the Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force. The men and women of America want to join the United States military, led by President Donald Trump.”

In February, Hegseth’s first full month as Defense Secretary, every single branch of the military met or exceeded recruitment goals for that month. Notably, the army exceeded its goal by 15%!

Previously, as the Gateway Pundit reported, Hegseth and the Army announced that they achieved 15-year highs in recruitment levels in December and January. Trump didn’t even take office until January 20, and Americans were already signing up to serve under his administration.
“He’s my least controversial person,” the President joked as he introduced Hegseth to say a few words.

Hegseth opened his remarks, saying, “Well, Mr. President, I think we’re controversial because we’re over the target.”

Hegseth has faced countless attacks from the anti-Trump leftist media.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, after the firing of three former Pentagon officials — Dan Caldwell, Darin Selnick, and Colin Carroll—for unauthorized leaks, the New York Times published a story with four anonymous sources claiming that Hegseth shared sensitive information.

The Pentagon swiftly and forcefully denied these allegations, with Chief Spokesman Sean Parnell labeling the story as “fake news” driven by disgruntled former employees with clear motives to sabotage Hegseth and Trump’s agenda.

Fake News NPR also ran a hit piece on Hegseth and said the White House is looking to replace him as Defense Secretary.

“It’s just fake news,” President Trump told reporters last week. “You know, he was put there to get rid of a lot of bad people, and that’s what he’s doing. You don’t always have friends when you do that.”

Hegseth showed exactly why he’s under attack during the cabinet, championing his historic recruitment levels and expansion of the Department of Defense to assist in border security.

WATCH:

Hegseth: Well, Mr. President, I think we’re controversial because we’re over the target. And like so many things, Mr. President, you inherited a demoralized military that couldn’t recruit, that was perceived as weak after what happened in Afghanistan and elsewhere because of Joe Biden.

And what we have seen since your election and the inauguration has been nothing short of a recruiting Renaissance. It has been decades since we’ve seen this kind of recruiting in the Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force. The men and women of America want to join the United States military, led by President Donald Trump.

Trump: And the police, by the way, and fire, I always mention the fire, but the police and fire, but the police and fire, likewise are— I mean, they have waiting lists now, and six months ago was a disaster.

Hegseth: Truly historic. We can barely absorb the volume and retention as well– men and women in the military who don’t want to get out now that they have a real commander in chief. We’re reinforcing standards. We’re going to be fit, not fat, in our formations.

Welcome back all the COVID, the folks who were forced out because of the COVID mandate, ripped wokeness out of the military, Sir. DEI, trans, and it’s Fort Benning and Fort Bragg again at the DOD.

We’re rebuilding the military, Sir, the Golden Dome is well underway. The F-47, reassuring allies and deterring enemies. We found nearly 6 billion in DOGE savings that we’re going to reinvest, including $50 billion from the Biden administration focused on things like climate that have nothing to do with lethality and war fighting.

And we will have, as you said, Sir, the first trillion dollar budget that we plan to spend wisely on behalf of our war fighters. From day one, Sir, we’ve helped get 100% operational control of the border.

Coming alongside DHS and CBP, we’ve got 11,000 troops on the border, who now, because of the new national defense area, sir, can help detain illegals at the border and hand them over to CBP It used to be if you saw camouflage on the border, they could hold binoculars, and that’s it. Now we can detain and assist, and we are. We’re going to get 100% operational control that border.

Our NATO allies are know they have to step up. The Houthis in the Middle East are feeling the weight of American power, and we’re deterring Communist China. So, because of your leadership, sir, I believe we’re making the military great again. Thank you.

Content Warning: The following news article contains descriptions of graphic and disturbing content, including references to child sexual abuse, self-harm, and violent acts. This material may be distressing or triggering for some readers. Reader discretion is strongly advised.

The FBI has arrested two ringleaders of the international child exploitation network known as “764,” a nihilistic violent extremist (NVE) group bent on destroying civilized society.

Leonidas Varagiannis, 21, a U.S. citizen residing in Thessaloniki, Greece, and Prasan Nepal, 20, of North Carolina, face charges for orchestrating a heinous enterprise that targeted vulnerable children as young as 13.

Varagiannis was apprehended in Greece yesterday, while Nepal was arrested on April 22, 2025, in North Carolina, with court hearings pending in Washington, D.C.

If convicted, the defendants will face a maximum penalty of life in prison.

The group operated globally, including in Washington, D.C., using encrypted messaging platforms to coordinate their activities.

The arrests were announced by Interim Attorney Ed Martin, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, and FBI Assistant Directors Steven Jensen and Christopher Raia.

“The allegations in this case are not only disturbing, they are also every parent’s nightmare” said U.S. Attorney Martin. “The number of victims allegedly exploited by these defendants, and the depths of depravity are staggering. Justice demands that our response be swift in order to ensure public safety, hold the wrongdoers accountable, and bring the victims some sense of closure so they can heal.”

“These defendants are accused of orchestrating one of the most heinous online child exploitation enterprises we have ever encountered – a network built on terror, abuse, and the deliberate targeting of children,” said Attorney General Bondi. “We will find those who exploit and abuse children, prosecute them, and dismantle every part of their operation.”

The 764 network allegedly targeted vulnerable minors, often girls with mental health challenges, grooming them to produce and share sexually explicit content and engage in self-harm.

This material was compiled into “Lorebooks,” which were shared within the group’s private channels, such as “764 Inferno,” to gain notoriety and recruit new members.

The affidavit details horrific acts, including coercing victims to cut the names of 764 members into their bodies, set themselves on fire, or harm their pets and siblings.

Nepal, a resident of High Point, North Carolina, has been involved with 764 since its inception around 2020 or 2021, emerging as a leader after the arrest of the group’s founder in August 2021.

Varagiannis, a U.S. citizen residing in Thessaloniki, Greece, joined in December 2023 and quickly rose to a leadership role. Both defendants are accused of directing group members to produce and distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and providing instructions on grooming and extorting victims.

The complaint highlights several minor victims, ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers, who were subjected to sexual exploitation and abuse.

For instance, one victim, a 13-year-old girl, was allegedly coerced by Varagiannis into performing sexually explicit acts over a live video feed.

Other victims were manipulated into producing videos and images of self-harm and sexual acts, which were then shared within the 764 network.

The FBI’s investigation revealed the defendants’ use of multiple online aliases and platforms to evade detection.

Nepal used monikers like “Leather Jacket,” “Rebirth,” and “KingKrampus,” while Varagiannis operated under names like “mercyisweak” and “sinisterfuck.”

Digital evidence, including IP addresses, subscriber records, and seized devices, linked the defendants to their online activities.

The 764 network’s tactics also extended to real-world violence, including property destruction, animal abuse, and physical assaults.

The group frequently changed names and platforms to avoid law enforcement, but its core methods and goals remained consistent.

Serial Loser Beto O’Rourke Teases Another Texas Senate Run — Because Three Losses Weren’t Enough?

Beto O’Rourke / Town Hall

Beto O’Rourke is teasing another run for Senate in Texas.

O’Rourke was asked at a recent town hall event whether he would consider running in 2026 for the seat currently held by John Cornyn.

“If it comes to pass that this is what the people of Texas want, that it’s the highest and best use of what I can give to you, then yes, I will,” O’Rourke responded.

O’Rourke, whose real first name is Robert but has styled himself as the Hispanic sounding “Beto,” is somewhat of a laughingstock for his numerous failed campaigns.

A former Texas congressman who served from 2013 to 2019, O’Rourke has since embarked on three unsuccessful bids for high office.

During the 2018 midterms, O’Rourke lost by a narrow but decisive margin against Senator Ted Cruz, despite receiving an enormous amount of funding from wealthy Democratic donors.

After that bruising defeat, O’Rourke launched an ambitious bid for the Democratic nomination in 2020. However, he dropped out months before the primaries are failing to poll above a few percentage points.

Undeterred by his past setbacks, O’Rourke then ran for the Texas governorship in 2022, where he was crushed by incumbent Governor Greg Abbott by over 10 percentage points.

Whatever O’Rourke decides, the 2026 Texas Senate race is shaping up to be interesting.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced his intention to run against incumbent RINO Senator John Cornyn, with polls suggesting that he has a strong chance of unseating him.

POLL: Texas AG Ken Paxton Would Crush RINO Senator John Cornyn in GOP Primary

Announcing his campaign earlier this month, Paxton said that he would fight for President Trump’s America First agenda.

“John Cornyn has been in Washington for over two decades, and he has turned his back on President Trump and the America First agenda time after time,” Paxton said.

“I’m a battle-tested attorney general and conservative warrior who’s secured major victories against the establishment, the corrupt Biden Administration, and woke corporations,” he continued.

”Now, I’m ready to take that same toughness to the U.S. Senate.”
