CENSORSHIP KINGDOM: Retired Constable to Sue UK Police After Arrest Over a Social Media Post Denouncing Anti-Semitism

Julian Foulkes will sue UK police for his wrongful imprisonment.

The United Kingdom continues its decent into authoritarianism and censorship of social media content.

Now, a retired constable is getting ready to sue Kent Police after being arrested back in 2023 for posting a social media reply warning about rising anti-Semitism.

The Telegraph reported:

“Julian Foulkes, from Gillingham in Kent, was handcuffed at his home by six officers from the force he had served for a decade after replying to a pro-Palestinian activist on X.

The 71-year-old was detained for eight hours, interrogated and ultimately issued with a caution after officers visited his home on November 2 2023.”

Last week, Kent Police sent out a statement saying that the caution was a mistake and has been deleted from Foulkes’s record.

The local law enforcement agency admitted that it was ‘not appropriate in the circumstances and should not have been issued’.

“On Sunday, Mr. Foulkes accepted an offer from the Free Speech Union (FSU) to fund a legal challenge against the force for wrongful arrest and detention.

‘The FSU and Lord [Toby] Young have generously agreed to fully fund a lawsuit against Kent Police’, he said. ‘I’m extremely grateful for such excellent support and would urge anyone concerned about the sustained attack on free speech to please join the FSU. They’re fighting hard every day for all of us’.”

UK’s censorship push is worsening.

The Chief Constable phoned Foulkes yesterday (12) to offer a ‘personal apology’ for the ordeal’ and to tell him the incident would be ‘thoroughly’ investigated.

“Though he had committed no offence, he accepted the caution in a state of shock, fearing that any further escalation could affect his ability to visit his surviving daughter in Australia. ‘I didn’t agree, but I felt I had no choice’, he said. ‘In hindsight, it would never have gone to court. The CPS wouldn’t touch it with no evidence. But I wasn’t thinking logically at the time’.”

Foulkes was left with ‘post-traumatic stress-type’ symptoms.

“’It’s like PTSD. You push it to the back of your mind, but it comes back and you relive it’, he said.

The Royal Navy suspended its leader after he faced accusations of having an affair with a subordinate officer.

Admiral Sir Ben Key, first sea lord of the Royal Navy, was ordered to step back from his role while the investigation was underway, the U.K.’s The Times reported Friday.

Key, a 59-year-old husband and a father of three, was appointed to the top position in 2021, but he has served in the fleet for 40 years.

The first sea lord is the professional head of the Royal Navy and a member of the Defence Council, according to Gov.UK.

In the five centuries of the navy’s history, a first sea lord has never undergone a misconduct inquiry.

“It is shocking, really shocking because of who he is,” a top navy source said, according to the U.K.’s The Sun. “Not just because he is First Sea Lord, but his reputation is a man of principles and morals.

“He is a popular First Sea Lord,” the source said.

Key declined to comment during the ongoing investigation, according to The Times.

Vice-Admiral Sir Martin Connell — the second sea lord — will take Key’s place temporarily, until General Sir Gwyn Jenkins is expected to permanently take his place.

This marks another historic moment because Jenkins is a Royal Marine, making him the first amphibious troop member to become first sea lord, rather than a sailor, according to The Times.

The woman involved in the alleged affair was reportedly a senior military officer, according to The Sun.

“I wouldn’t have called him a swordsman or a sniffer. He wasn’t known as a player, and nothing stays secret in the Navy,” a navy source said about Key.

Key likely won’t be court-martialed because the alleged affair isn’t a crime, but he would have broken the “service test,” which forbids sexual interactions between superiors and their subordinates, according to The Times.

“In theory Ben could still be court martialed for bringing the Navy into disrepute, but that seems very unlikely at this point,” an unnamed source told The Sun. “He has served his commendably for over 40 years. The investigation is still ongoing. There is no whiff of anything criminal.”

The controversy forced the Royal Navy to cancel its annual Sea Power Conference this upcoming Monday. Military guests from across the globe were supposed to attend.

“I am completely surprised,” a friend of Key’s said. “In terms of integrity, operational record and the genuine affection and respect he has from the navy, he is the best first sea lord in years. If he has made a mistake then it’s tragic but he deserves to be remembered for his operational record and not for this.”

Key joined the Royal Navy in 1984, according to Gov.UK.

Since that time, he has commanded four ships: the mine hunter HMS Sandown, the frigates HMS Iron Duke and HMS Lancaster, and the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious.

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa has intensified his international agenda with a tour across Europe in April and May 2025, focused on strengthening security cooperation and attracting investments to boost his country’s economy.

His itinerary, which includes visits to Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom, reflects his commitment to diplomacy in addressing the security and economic challenges Ecuador is currently facing.

Noboa’s tour began in late April 2025, when he arrived in Spain after attending the Pope’s funeral at the Vatican—an event that marked the beginning of his journey through Europe and the Middle East.

In Madrid, Noboa had scheduled a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to discuss bilateral cooperation and propose the creation of a joint investment fund for infrastructure projects in Ecuador, particularly in renewable energy—a sector he considers key to diversifying the country’s economy.

However, the meeting was canceled due to a massive blackout in Ecuador, which forced Noboa to prioritize managing the energy crisis remotely. Despite the cancellation, Noboa met with business leaders from the energy and technology sectors in Madrid, where he promoted incentives to invest in solar and wind energy projects in Ecuador.

The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, between Pedro Sánchez and Ecuador’s President-elect Daniel Noboa was canceled. The reason? The Spanish leader decided to focus on managing the consequences of the power outage that affected Spain and Portugal.

The final leg of his tour brought him to the United Kingdom, where he arrived in early May 2025 and was received with military honors—a gesture that underscored the significance of his visit.

In London, Noboa met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to seek support for his anti-crime strategy, proposing a training program for Ecuadorian police with British experts in intelligence and anti-drug operations. He also negotiated with representatives from the UK financial sector to encourage investments in Ecuador’s oil and mining industries, offering tax incentives to promote local job creation.

A central theme of Noboa’s tour was his call for international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, a problem that has escalated in Ecuador in recent years.

Noboa expressed his desire for countries like the United States, Brazil, and European powers to join his efforts against criminal gangs, emphasizing that 70% of the world’s cocaine passes through Ecuadorian ports.

As part of his international tour, President Daniel Noboa met with Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament.

In the United Kingdom, he reiterated this request, proposing a multinational force to patrol maritime routes in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans—an idea aimed at bolstering regional security.

President Daniel Noboa also held a meeting with Ecuadorian youth living in the United Kingdom and presented an award to footballer Moisés Caicedo, highlighting his career as a symbol of perseverance and talent for the nation’s youth.

This event, held in London, sought to inspire the Ecuadorian diaspora and strengthen cultural ties, while Noboa emphasized the importance of supporting the younger generation to build a better future for Ecuador.

Due to its geographic location, Ecuador has become a strategic point for drug trafficking, serving as a transit route between Colombia, Peru, and markets such as the United States and Europe.

Beyond security, Noboa has worked to position Ecuador as an attractive destination for foreign investment.

In Europe, Noboa held talks with Spanish and British companies to explore joint ventures, especially in technology and energy, with the goal of diversifying Ecuador’s economy and reducing its dependence on raw material exports.

Throughout his tour, Noboa has demonstrated a pragmatic approach, seeking concrete solutions to Ecuador’s structural problems.

His ability to negotiate with European leaders and propose initiatives such as the multinational anti-drug force and investment funds reflects a strategic vision that integrates security and economic development.

The impact of these proposals will depend on effective implementation, but his effort to position Ecuador on the global stage marks a step forward.

If these initiatives translate into concrete actions, Noboa could be laying the groundwork for a more prosperous future—one where security and economic progress become a reality for all Ecuadorians.

A McDonald’s restaurant in the progressive Washington, D.C. suburb of Fairfax County, Virginia has banned under 21-year-olds from indoor dining after “repeated incidents of student violence.” Adults must ring a doorbell to be let in by staff.

The McDonald’s is located just outside the Beltway in the Franconia neighborhood between Alexandria and Springfield. It has been a popular hangout for students of several nearby schools, including Thomas A. Edison High School.

A sign posted at the door says, “RING THE DOORBELL SAFETY NOTICE: Effective immediately. Due to repeated incidents of student violence, this McDonald’s location is temporarily closed for dine-in service to anyone under 21 years of age. The decision was made to protect our staff, our guests, and our community. Adults — we are still here to serve you! Please ring the doorbell, and a member of our team will assist you. We thank you for understanding as we work to keep our restaurant a safe and welcoming place for all. Management.”

Under 21s can still use the drive-thru and pick up meals ordered on the app.

A video report by WRC-TV shows young people involved in massive fights inside the McDonald’s:

A report by WTOP-FM states students were allegedly involved in an incident where a gun was fired in the Franconia Road McDonald’s in 2023 (excerpt):

One recent incident in 2023 involved a gunshot heard in the bathroom of the McDonald’s. Police reported that the teens seen leaving the premises shortly after the gun discharged were students at nearby Edison High School.

In a statement to WTOP on Friday, McDonald’s said: “We love being part of the Edison community and we value each and every customer. We’ve enhanced our Franconia Road McDonald’s security measures in an effort to promote a safe environment for our customers and staff. This policy was developed in partnership with local school officials with oversight from local law enforcement. This serves as a temporary fix as we work towards a long-term solution for all.”

WJLA-TV spoke to a customer who has dined at that McDonalds for nearly fifty years who said the problems with the students have been building for about ten years (excerpt):

“When I used to come here I was only 16 maybe 15,” said longtime, loyal customer Robert Hancasky.

Hancasky says for nearly 50 years he’s been frequenting this McDonalds.

“I come here every morning, get my sausage biscuit and my hash brown. This has been slowing manifesting probably over 10 years,” he added.

Hancasky says high school students routinely trash the bathrooms, start fights in dining area, and generally provide an unpleasant experience for everyone.

“The fighting is a problem and they’re pretty brazen. The management tries to step in and these kids are pretty violent. And let’s be honest, they’re young adults.. They’re just trying to stop the violence because it’s not fair to any other customer who comes in for the sandwich, a hard-working person, they got to put up with a bunch of idiots,” concluded Hancasky.

WJLA also reported a statement from Fairfax County Schools:

“Edison High School’s attendance policy makes it clear that students who leave campus during the school day without a parent check-out will receive an unexcused absence. In a recent school community newsletter, Edison High School shared a statement from the owner of the McDonald’s on Franconia Road detailing the restaurant’s new security policy. FCPS encourages families to talk to their students about appropriate conduct, including in the community.”

Fairfax County used to be a safe place to raise a family with excellent schools. Since being taken over by Democrat progressives, it no longer is.

TOTALLY WORTHLESS: GOP Controlled House and Senate Sent Fewer Bills to GOP President Than Any Congress in 70 Years
May 11, 2025

President Trump won the 2024 election in a landslide, winning the US Presidency with 312 electoral votes, all of the battleground states, the popular vote, the US House of Representatives, The US Senate and 2750 counties across the country.

Americans overwhelmingly voted for President Donald Trump and his agenda.

Unfortunately, this means nothing to the US GOP-controlled House and US GOP-controlled Senate.

According to Amuse and Leading Report on X the current GOP-controlled Congress sent fewer bills to President Trump to sign into law than any Congress in 70 years!

That is quite a record!

According to Punchbowl News, Trump has actually signed fewer bills into law at this point than any new president for seven decades.

At the same time President Trump has signed 124 executive orders.

Consider this:

By this point in 2017, Trump had signed 24 bills into law.

By this point in Biden’s presidency, he’d signed seven bills into law.

In 2009, Barack Obama had signed 11 bills into law by now.

In 2001, George W. Bush had signed seven bills into law.

In 1993, Bill Clinton had signed 21 bills into law.

At this point in 1989, George H.W. Bush had signed 13 bills into law.

In 1981, Ronald Reagan had signed nine bills into law by now.

Jimmy Carter had signed 19 bills into law by now in 1977.

Richard Nixon had signed eight bills into law by this time in 1969.

John F. Kennedy signed 20 bills into law by the end of March 1961.

Dwight D. Eisenhower had also signed 20 bills into law by this time in 1953.

There are many reasons this Congress has been historically unproductive on the legislative front.

If Republicans lose the US House in 2026, it won’t be because of President Trump or his agenda. It will be because of the do-nothing Congress who cannot be trusted. Enough is enough.
