Rumors the Obamas were headed for a divorce began in December after Michelle Obama skipped Jimmy Carter’s funeral and announced she wouldn’t be attending Trump’s inauguration.

Earlier this week Michelle Obama took another jab at Barack Obama amid divorce rumors.

“Would you be attracted to a guy who’s not financially sound when you meet him?” Craig Robinson asked Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama insulted Barack Obama.

“Uh, I married one,” Michelle Obama said.

During a speech at Hamilton College, Barack Obama said he ‘trying to dig himself out of a hole’ after two

“I was in a deep deficit with my wife,” Obama said, according to The Daily Beast.

“So I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things,” Obama said.

Obama also took a swipe at Trump during his remarks at Hamilton College.

“It is up to all of us to fix this,” Obama said during a speech at Hamilton College on . “It’s not going to be because somebody comes and saves you. The most important office in this democracy is the citizen, the ordinary person who says, no, that’s not right.”

On the one hand, Americans are not putting up with bravados like the one by French President Emmanuel Macron, who called for a freeze on European investment on the US as a response for the tariffs that Donald J. Trump slapped on the European Union.

On the other, some government agencies are still operating on a non-America First line, and US-taxpayers’ money is still wasted on people who hate America.

Daniel Turner, the Founder & Executive Director of the non-profit Power The Future, rightfully indignant with this situation, wrote on X:

As a proof of just how important social media communications have become, longtime foreign policy adviser and current Envoy for Special Missions Richard Grenell picked up on the post and sent it to Trump:

In a report from mid-March, we see that the US Export-Import Bank’s decision to bankroll was already being heavily criticized as detrimental to the American LNG industry.

Washington Free Beacon reported:

“A federal agency quietly approved a $5 billion loan on Thursday to fund a liquefied natural gas facility in Mozambique owned by TotalEnergies, a French company that has a history of working with foreign adversaries, including Iran, Russia, and China.

The U.S. Export-Import Bank’s decision to finance TotalEnergies’ LNG project is facing backlash from conservatives wary of foreign aid spending, as well as the U.S. LNG industry, which says the facility will compete with American businesses. Critics note that a long-awaited Alaska LNG pipeline proposal, which President Trump touted in his address to Congress this month, would face direct competition from the TotalEnergies facility.

[…] Rick Perry, Trump’s former energy secretary, told the Washington Free Beacon that the TotalEnergies Mozambique project ‘directly competes with the U.S. LNG industry, at a time when the President is looking to expand it’.

‘President Trump and his cabinet have been very clear that this administration will restore American energy dominance and protect the U.S. energy industry and the millions of people that support it’, said Perry. ‘The proposal for ExIm bank to send $5 billion in taxpayer dollars to fund a foreign owned project in Africa contradicts this priority’.”

For context, this is one of the biggest loans @EximBankUS has ever done.

Hardworking Americans face rising prices and a weaponized federal government, yet more than 1,500 federal programs are still receiving billions in taxpayer dollars despite their legal authorizations expiring years or even decades ago.

A federal program is separately authorized and funded by Congress. If a program is not authorized, or authorized at a specific level, it is not supposed to receive funding. But because of Congressional inaction, apathy, and inattention, these programs regularly receive such funding even though they lack legal authorization.

491 specifically-identified unauthorized programs and federal spending accounts for roughly 8% of the annual federal budget of $6.45 trillion, or $516 billion dollars. The DOGE effort to cut government fraud, waste, and abuse has so far saved taxpayers $140 billion by comparison.

The Congressional Budget Office couldn’t find or estimate the dollar amounts spent by the other 1,000 zombie programs they identified.

According to a recent investigation by RealClearInvestigations, the United States government is quietly funding what experts are calling “zombie programs” — agencies and initiatives that legally expired but are kept alive through backdoor budget tricks and annual appropriations.

In 2016, candidate Trump even mentioned this concept of refusing to pay for unauthorized programs as a way to get more funding to the military. The media ‘fact checked’ Trump’s claim as ‘false’ even though it was true, because, they said, Congress doesn’t have to follow the law.

One of the most egregious examples? The Legal Services Corporation (LSC), a taxpayer-funded outfit originally established to provide free legal assistance to low-income Americans. Congress let its authorization expire in 1980, yet the agency is still alive and well in 2025 — operating with 135 employees and a $560 million budget.

Republicans in 2011 tried to make modest cuts to the LSC, and the left-wing mainstream media said it would cause major social problems. Leftist media said it was going to “gut a crucial anti-poverty lifeline.” Left-wing non-profits rallied to protect this subsidy and corporate welfare to the nation’s attorneys.

The LSC has long been accused of funding politically motivated litigation, supporting left-leaning advocacy groups, and diverting taxpayer money into causes far beyond its original mandate. In past decades, LSC grantees have been caught assisting in lawsuits to block welfare reform, challenging voter ID laws, and filing environmental and immigration-related lawsuits aimed at advancing progressive policy goals rather than defending the poor in court. Some grantees have used federal funds to lobby state legislatures, coordinate with activist networks, and even sue landlords and small businesses en masse under dubious legal theories.

45 years after it was supposed to be shut down, the LSC is still spending hundreds of millions with zero legislative oversight.

This problem has been plaguing Congress for years, and many white papers and organizations have attempted to bring this problem to the legislature’s attention for many years.

Here are a few of the worst offenders:

  • Continues receiving annual appropriations

• Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB)

  • Authorization expired: 1992

  • FY2024 Spending: $525 million

• Dozens of Department of Justice (DOJ) grant programs

  • Authorization expired: early 2000s

  • Still being funded through omnibus bills

According to the Congressional Budget Office, 491 of these programs account for $516 billion in federal spending — nearly 8% of the entire U.S. budget — despite having no active authorization from Congress.

Even left-leaning policy analysts admit there’s a problem — though they try to spin it. Sarah Binder of the Brookings Institution told RealClear: “If Congress is still appropriating money to the programs, they’re not Zombies. They’re living, breathing agencies.”

Translation: Congress keeps funding the swamp, and no one stops them.

President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), helmed by Elon Musk, is already saving taxpayer funds by shutting down USAID and the Department of Education, along with cutting Marxist DEI grants throughout the government.

The ‘DOGE Tracker’ reports up to $140 Billion saved as of today by President Trump’s cost-cutting efforts across the federal government, which is 7% of its stated $2 trillion goal.

DOGE executive Antonio Gracias, the founder of Valor Equity Partners, joined the All In podcast on X.

During their discussion, Antonio revealed shocking information on how illegal aliens and even violent illegal aliens are accessing government benefits and even voting.

Antonio Gracias:  We mapped it through to the benefit programs. We found in the benefit programs that every benefit program that was being accessed by these people, 1. 3 million of them are on Medicaid right now, today. And by the way, it’s just ramping. It’s just starting. Just to give you a point. And then out of curiosity, I woke up at 2: 00 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep. My mind was running on this. I sent the individual note saying, Hey, guys, let’s just look at the public voter rolls who we find in some friendly states. And we looked at the voter rolls, and we found that thousands of them were registered to vote in a handful of states. And then we went in further with those friendly states and found that many of those people had actually voted. It was shocking to us.

If I hadn’t seen it in my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it. And so now the question we’re asking ourselves is, what do we do? We refer to some to prosecution that’s ongoing right now. We’re thinking through how to do it. And the reality is they have various kinds of status, and it’s a very detailed analysis, legally, they’re working through right now about how to deal with it.

Jason Calacanis:  So thousands of those people registered to vote?

Antonio Gracias:  Yes.

Jason Calacanis:  In the election.

Antonio Gracias:  Which is a federal crime, by the way…

…Oh, no. Jason, it’s more than a thousand. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen the data myself, and it’s more than a thousand in just a couple of states. I mean, it is shockingly bad. And this is the tip of the iceberg, guys. It’s the tip of the iceberg. It doesn’t include the 7. 8 million people that ICE has that have come in illegally that know we’re here, and all the people that came illegally we don’t know are here. I mean, this is not a political issue. I want to be really clear about this. This is about America.

Chamath Palihapitiya:  Antonio, let’s just take one step back because I just want you to repeat this because I think it’s important and we may have just run over it a little too quickly. When you get a social security number, what you’re saying is there’s all of these important downstream consequences. One of downstream consequences is you could show up, register to vote, and that’s an illegitimate action that’s breaking federal law. That’s one. But the second is that without knowing who this person is, they can start to absorb resources that could have otherwise gone to an American. I guess that’s a fundamental part of this.

For months, media organizations in the UK have been fighting in court for the release of all documents in the immigration case that expelled suspected Chinese Spy Yang Tengbo from the Kingdom.

And the released documents show, for the first time, that King Charles has also been dragged into the Duke of York’s espionage scandal.

The Telegraph reported:

“A witness statement provided to an immigration tribunal by Dominic Hampshire, a senior adviser to Prince Andrew, claims that the King was aware of an investment fund in which Yang Tengbo, an alleged spy, was directly involved.

Mr. Hampshire states that he and the Duke were twice smuggled into Windsor Castle for clandestine meetings with the King during which the Eurasia Fund was discussed.”

The Eurasia fund was formed to tap into Chinese investment for ‘renewable energy projects’ in Africa.

It was designed to provide an income for the Duke following his public disgrace, but in the end, Yang ended up banned from the UK on national security grounds.

The witness statement has Hampshire saying: “I have had two meetings with The Duke and His Majesty to discuss what The Duke can do moving forwards in a way that is acceptable to His Majesty. It is also of note that, amongst other topics, the Eurasia Fund and Aidan Heavey were discussed on both occasions with His Majesty. (For both these meetings with His Majesty, despite less media interest in The Duke, we took all precautions to get in and out of Windsor Castle without being seen.)”

At no point, says Prince Andrew’s aide, did anyone in the Royal household suggest they sever ties with Yang or the fund – even after Yang’s arrest.

Security services officials eventually told him there was a concern about Yang’s level of influence and the Eurasia Fund was cited.

“Mr. Hampshire tried to block the release of his statement because it contained ‘embarrassing’ and ‘indiscreet’ information which he said was private and ‘commercially sensitive’.

However, the Special Immigration Appeals Commission approved an application by publications including The Telegraph for a secrecy order preventing the release of the statement and other documents to be lifted in the public interest.

[…] The Home Office banned Yang from the UK after MI5 deemed him to be an agent who had engaged in ‘covert and deceptive activity’ on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party and who posed a threat to national security.”
