A group of Colorado Republicans objected to the certification of the state’s 2024 election results.

The effort was supported by six Republicans and led by state Reps. Ken DeGraaf and Scott Bottoms of Colorado Springs who argued that the results may have been compromised by the posting of voting system passwords online.

“I have no proof that any of those passwords were used to do anything, nobody else has proof of that,” Bottoms said in a speech on the House floor Wednesday.

“But I think it would be naïve to assume that one person did not change at least one vote.”

They also demanded an investigation into Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, an ambitious Democrat who illegally tried to prevent Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s presidential ballot and who was ultimately responsible for the password leak.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit back in October, Griswold’s office leaked the passwords to voting systems in 63 out of the state’s 64 counties on a hidden tab of a spreadsheet on the Secretary of State’s website. The leaked passwords were posted online for several days.

Following the password breach, the Trump campaign requested a temporary halt in the processing of mail-in ballots in order to “guarantee that the election equipment in those counties is secure” and restore public trust.

However, these demands were unsuccessful, and the counting carried on regardless.

Democrats, meanwhile, denounced the objections as “unwarranted and unprecedented” and accused them of trying to undermine the election results.

“Opposition to this motion is quite frankly dangerous to our democracy,” said Democratic Rep. Andrew Boesenecker of Fort Collins.

“We’ve seen what happened when Congress went down this path four years ago and elected officials refused to certify results.”

According to the official election results, Kamala Harris outperformed Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign by nearly five points, winning 54 percent of the vote compared to 43 percent for Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, her vote tally was said to be down around 2.5 percent on Joe Biden’s performance in 2020.

Amid these seemingly comfortable margins, Colorado is now considered to be a reliably blue state, with Democrats holding the governorship, Secretary of State, and both Senate seats. This is all thanks to mail-in voting and far-left state leaders.

Colorado is one of four states, including California, Oregon, and Washington, that took weeks to finish their vote counting after Election Day. These states all use mail-in voting. And these states all have Democrats in charge for years now. Imagine that?

Its last statewide elected Republican was Senator Cory Gardner, who lost his seat in the 2020 election cycle.

The last Republican to win the state in a presidential election was George W. Bush in 2004, who defeated his opponent John Kerry by nearly a five point margin.

Remember when people were called ”crazy conspiracy theorists” for talking about climate lockdowns?

Well, we essentially have that happening now in Sweden.

The Church of Sweden has decided to SHUT DOWN 7 churches from the Middle Ages in order to meet climate goals.

The churches will be shut in the winter months between October to May.

Being very old, these churches are of course poorly insulated and they are being heated with oil.

However, they have now decided not to fill up any more oil to heat the churches – This to meet the climate goals of the Church of Sweden to be fossil free by the year 2027.

So instead of keeping the churches open, they are shutting them down in the name of climate change.

Do you think that is what Jesus would have done?

The Church of Sweden is very progressive. For example, some years ago the encouraged clergy to use gender neutral language when talking about God, despite the Bible being very clear that God is masculine.

Now they are essentially engaging in climate lockdowns.

Seems to me that the woke climate cult religion is more important for them now than Christianity.

Joe Biden has confirmed that he is considering preemptive pardons for Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Neither Fauci nor Cheney have been investigated or charged with crimes at this time, but the Biden administration is reportedly concerned that will change under the Trump administration.

Many of Trump’s supporters and lawmakers, including Sen. Rand Paul and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, have called for Fauci to be prosecuted.

Rumors had swirled that Biden was considering pardons for the controversial figures, and he confirmed them in a sit-down interview with USA Today published on Wednesday.

Only three presidents have ever used preemptive pardons. Biden has already issued a pardon for his son Hunter after previously claiming that he would not be pardoning him.

According to the USA Today report, “When Biden met with Trump in the Oval Office a week after the November election, he urged the president-elect not to go forward with threats to target those who have criticized him or, in Cheney’s case, helped lead efforts to impeach him.”

“I tried to make clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive for his interest to go back and try to settle scores,” Biden said. “He didn’t say, ‘No, I’m going to …’ You know. He didn’t reinforce it. He just basically listened.”

Biden said his pardon decisions will be based “a little bit” on who President-elect Donald Trump appoints to his administration.

Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has been nominated to lead the Justice Department, and former DOJ federal prosecutor Kash Patel has been nominated to head the FBI.

Layla Law-Gisiko (D), the president of the City Club of New York and a prominent advocate for New York City’s new congestion pricing policy, was the latest victim of a violent attack in the very subway system she promoted.

The incident occurred on Saturday when Law-Gisiko was confronted by an individual with a shopping cart who spat in her hair and pushed her into a wall, leaving her with a bruised ankle and sore shoulder.

“Today at around 3:30 PM, I entered the subway station at 23rd Street and 5th Avenue. At the bottom of the first flight of stairs, an individual with a shopping cart began screaming at me and spat in my hair,” Law-Gisiko wrote on X.

She added, “The individual followed me into the mezzanine corridor, struck me with the cart, and caused me to hit the wall. He threatened to push me down the next flight of stairs.”

“A group of passengers witnessed the assault. I retreated toward the exit while the individual continued down the stairs. A bystander kindly stayed with me as I called 911 to report the attack.”

“About 25 minutes later, four police officers arrived. After taking my statement, they went into the station, found the individual, and asked me to identify him. Police officers proceeded with arrest.”

“The officers left the scene without further comment. I am shaken, with a bruised ankle and a sore shoulder from being pushed into the wall. This has been a distressing and painful experience,” she concluded.

The assailant, identified as 45-year-old Timothy Elliot, was apprehended and charged with assault and harassment. He was subsequently released on a desk appearance ticket, according to the New York Post.

Hours after the attack, the $9 congestion toll on vehicles entering Manhattan, a measure championed by Law-Gisiko and the City Club to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging the use of public transportation, was implemented.

Effective January 5, 2025, this toll applies to vehicles entering Manhattan south of 60th Street during peak hours—5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Off-peak hours see a reduced toll of $2.25.

The toll is collected electronically via E-ZPass or by billing vehicles based on license plate recognition. Certain routes, such as the FDR Drive and West Side Highway, are exempt from the toll, provided vehicles remain on these roads and do not enter the city street grid.

Law-Gisiko had co-signed a statement celebrating the launch of the congestion pricing initiative. However, her personal experience on the subway paints a starkly different picture from the rosy outlook she has publicly supported.

New York Post reported:

Law-Gisiko, a native Parisian who has lived in the Big Apple for three decades, has long been a rabble-rouser on transit issues in the five boroughs.

The group she heads, the City Club, has been a strong proponent for the congestion pricing plan, arguing it will “incentivize the use of public transportation” to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.

Last year, the club was one of two groups that sued Hochul to implement an earlier version of the congestion pricing plan after the governor’s office temporarily paused its rollout amid concerns it would put an unfair financial burden on many working-class New Yorkers.

The current version has caused massive headaches and gridlock since going into effect on Sunday.

Critics, including the head of the Transport Workers Union, has complained that the city subway system is too dangerous for New Yorkers to be forced to use the underground.

Think that President-elect Donald Trump talking about acquiring Greenland is just that — idle talk?

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman doesn’t — and surprisingly, he’s not freaking out about it.

Fetterman, in an appearance on Fox News Tuesday night, said that he thought there might be a “responsible conversation” to have about the idea of acquiring the sparsely populated Danish possession.

Trump has said on social media that “control of Greenland is an absolute necessity” for the United States in the run-up to his inauguration. On Tuesday, Donald Trump Jr. made a visit to the island, adding to speculation regarding what the Trump administration might be cooking up in regards to the country.

And, at least in Fetterman’s case, he’s willing to listen.

“There’s a lot of talk about Greenland, for example, and there’s a lot of freak-outs, and of course, I would never support taking it by force,” Fetterman said.

“But, I do think it’s a responsible conversation if they were open to acquiring it, you know, whether just buying it outright.

“If anyone thinks that’s bonkers, it’s like, well, remember the Louisiana Purchase,” Fetterman added.

“I think Alaska was a pretty great deal, too, $50 million I think it was. It was referred to as Seward’s Folly.”

“Some things might work out; some may not,” Fetterman added.

The reaction to this on social media was that Fetterman was playing conservatives to get GOP votes in a state that’s turning increasingly Republican:

Fetterman knows he needs center-right votes in next Senate election so he’s playing the game.

He will continue to vote with Democrats 95%+ of the time.

However, for those who think that this is all an act, consider the fact that — unlike with his talk about Canada being the “51st state” — Trump’s talk on Greenland is being taken seriously in conservative quarters, too.

Nobody wants to be responsible for America’s dysfunctional hat, after all. Consider that this comes as Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute Egede has been talking about independence from Denmark and a rethink in terms of who its allies will be.

“It is about time that we ourselves take a step and shape our future, also with regard to who we will cooperate closely with, and who our trading partners will be,” Egede said during his New Year’s Day remarks, according to Reuters. “It is about time that we ourselves take a step and shape our future, also with regard to who we will cooperate closely with and who our trading partners will be.”

“The history and current conditions have shown that our cooperation with the Kingdom of Denmark has not succeeded in creating full equality,” he added.

“It is now time for our country to take the next step. Like other countries in the world, we must work to remove the obstacles to cooperation — which we can describe as the shackles of colonialism — and move forward.”

Furthermore, as Dan McLaughlin noted at National Review, the United States has been discussing the acquisition of Greenland since 1868, one year after “Seward’s folly.”

“In considering the future of Greenland, we cannot confine ourselves entirely to materialistic considerations. Nations have other resources besides those which figures can express to us by statistical tables. If a country has in it the means of developing man in any way, physically or mentally, it may be said to be rich to that extent,” a report by the State Department, commissioned by Seward, read.

“Even if we had no hope of finding there a place for settlement or new roads to profit, there are still strong reasons why civilization should strive to reach and explore them. They possess, as it were, the key to many problems of science, and the answer to many questions which are at present discussed by geographers.

“Certainly, new truths are as precious acquisitions as new mines or new fishing grounds, and a country which has supplied them has enriched the world as much as one which sends us the means of indulging our tastes or satisfying our appetites.”

While this all might not mean that Greenland is for sale, keep in mind that it’s a far more natural fit for an alliance with those geographically close to it in North America — and considering that Canada and Mexico both have problems of their own to sort out, the United States would seem like the most obvious choice, particularly with a president willing to pursue it.

Even Fetterman can see that’s not “bonkers” to have a discussion about. We’ve done it before; we can do it again — and it could be mutually beneficial, particularly for a country looking to shake off its colonial past and which would get a far better deal from the United States and the Trump administration than it’s getting from Denmark. Perhaps it doesn’t involve a straight-up buyout, but it’s something America ought to be talking about.
