Women’s basketball player Brittney Griner claims that she wasn’t calling Caitlin Clark a “f-cking white girl” in a video that recently went viral.

Griner was asked about the clip by Outkick at an Atlanta Dream vs. Washington Mystics game on Sunday.

The WNBA star appeared to mouth the phrase on camera during a game last month.

Despite going massively viral, no reporter had asked her what she was saying — until now.

“I asked Brittney Griner what she said after fouling out against the Indiana Fever three weeks ago (since no one else has asked since then), and she said she ‘can’t remember,’” Outkick reporter Dan Zaksheske wrote in a post with a video of the question. “I offered to show her the viral clip to jog her memory, but she said that ‘wouldn’t help.’”

Zaksheske pressed her again after the game, asking “if it was possible that she said ‘f***ing white girl’ after fouling out against the Indiana Fever, even though she couldn’t remember what she said.”

Griner denied the possibility.

“I know it wasn’t that because I wouldn’t use that type of language,” Griner said.

Outkick reports:

It seems strange that it took three weeks to finally get an answer straight from Griner, but that’s the current state of the sports media landscape, it seems.

Now, even though Griner denied it, the people who believe she said “f***ing white girl” probably still think that’s what she said and the people who don’t think she said that have their confirmation.

But at least Griner is finally on record answering for that moment in a viral clip seen by millions of people. It’s sad that it took over three weeks to get to this point, but at least we’re here now.

Federal Investigation Launched After Boy Wins Minnesota Girls’ Softball Title

Champlin Park Girls Softball team via the Minnesota State High School League.

Two federal Title IX investigations have been launched after a Minnesota girls’ softball team with a male player, who identifies as a “girl,” won the state championship.

The Champlin Park High School softball team defeated an all-female team for the win.

On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Education announced that it will be “elevating its Title IX investigations into the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) to the Title IX Special Investigations Team (Title IX SIT), which is comprised of both the Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice.”

In a press release about the investigations, the DOE said:

“In February, the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) opened a Title IX investigation into MSHSL over its stated intentions to flout federal law and instead follow state policies which allow student-athletes to compete in sports based on their ‘gender identity.’ On June 3, OCR opened a Title IX investigation into the Minnesota Department of Education after receiving a complaint alleging that MDE has policies which permit males to participate in female sports and occupy female-only intimate facilities. Both investigations are today being elevated to the Title IX SIT.”

The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights initially launched its investigation into MSHSL in February, after President Donald Trump announced his executive order titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.” The league responded that they would not be complying and will continue allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports.

“The Minnesota State High School League, similar to other youth sports organizations, is subject to state anti-discrimination laws, which prohibit discrimination based on gender identity,” MSHSL said in a statement at the time. “Therefore, students in Minnesota are allowed to participate consistent with their gender identity.”

U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon called the refusal to comply “completely unacceptable.”

“The Trump Administration has a duty to protect women and girls and uphold federal civil rights, and I am pleased to partner with Attorney General Pam Bondi to elevate the Department’s investigations in Minnesota to the Title IX Special Investigations Team,” said McMahon. “Minnesota’s continued indifference to females’ civil rights is completely unacceptable. We must ensure women and girls are not stripped of their hard-earned accolades or subjected to the danger and indignity of unfair competitions, and we will fight to restore antidiscrimination protections under Title IX to the fullest extent of the law.”

Senator Ted Cruz talks with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” 6/15/25

Senator Ted Cruz was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo and discussed Iran and the threat to the world they pose if they had a nuclear weapon. Senator Cruz clearly stated that he backs President Trump’s view that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

“Senator, thank you so much for being here. Your reaction on the US side?” Bartiromo asked.

“This week has been extraordinarily consequential, extraordinarily dangerous, and I will say this week was also, inevitable. The Ayatollah is a theocratic lunatic. He regularly chants ‘death to America, death to Israel,’” Cruz said.

“President Trump drew a very clear red line in the sand. He said on April 12th, he told Iran, you have 60 days to negotiate,” Cruz explained.

“President Trump has been clear that the standard for any deal must be complete dismantlement. No centrifuges, no enrichments,” Cruz said.

Senator Cruz explained that the Ayatollah was very defiant against President Trump’s terms and refused to comply with him.

“On the 61st day, the Ayatollah publicly said he would not shut down a single centrifuge. He said he would build more centrifuges. He would make more enriched uranium in order to make more nuclear weapons,” Cruz continued.

Senator Cruz explained that the strategic strikes that Israel had on Iran was to prevent them from building a nuclear weapon.

“The job is to prevent Iran from being able to acquire nuclear weapons. It’s not conquering Iran. It’s not turning them into a democracy. It’s taking away their capacity to commit mass murder and this week they’ve made enormous progress,” Senator Cruz said of Israel’s strategic strikes on Iran.

Senator Cruz also said that Iran is also a threat to the United States. He explained that the Ayatollah has murdered hundreds of our own military personnel.

“The Ayatollah has murdered over 600 service men and women. He’s the chief funder of terrorism across the globe, and he is trying to get weapons to be able to murder not hundreds of Americans, but millions of Americans,” Cruz warned.

“Israel is doing an enormous favor to America right now. They are taking out the capability of Iran to strike out at America,” Cruz said.

Cities in Spain, Portugal and Italy mobilized against excessive tourism.

For a while, now, the population from high-profile tourist centers have been feeling the pressure of mass arrivals of visitors.

This out-of-control influx has a detrimental effect on the locals’ quality of life, causing housing shortages, price hikes and pollution issues.

So a movement against this reality has taken hold of southern European countries, to the point where the activists have established an international coalition to tackle overtourism.

Today (16), thousands of people took to the streets of cities in southern European countries to demonstrate against overtourism, at times firing water pistols at shops and setting off smoke.

Reuters reported:

“’Your holidays, my misery’, protesters chanted in the streets of Barcelona while holding up banners emblazoned with slogans such as ‘mass tourism kills the city’ and ‘their greed brings us ruin’.

Under the umbrella of the SET alliance – Sud d’Europa contra la Turistització, or Catalan for ‘Southern Europe against Overtourism’ – protesters joined forces with groups in Portugal and Italy, arguing that uncontrolled tourism was sending housing prices soaring and forcing people out of their neighborhoods.”

Protest in the Spanish Canary Islands.

Take Barcelona, for example: a city of 1.6 million that draws 26 million tourists per year – not sustainable.

“Authorities in the north eastern Spanish city said around 600 people joined the demonstration there, some firing water pistols or setting off colored smoke and putting stickers saying ‘Neighborhood self-defense, tourist go home’ on shop windows and hotels.”

Overtourism in the Spanish beaches and in Netherland’s Amsterdam.

“There were similar demonstrations in other parts of Spain including Ibiza, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, San Sebastian and Granada. Protests in Italy took place in cities including Genoa, Naples, Palermo, Milan and Venice, where locals oppose the construction of two hotels that will add around 1,500 new beds to the city, the organizers told Reuters.”

“International travel spending in Europe is expected to rise by 11% to $838 billion this year, with Spain and France among the countries set to receive record numbers of tourists.”

‘Not Illegal to Be Undocumented’: Watch Sunny Hostin Flip Out Over ‘Misinformation’
June 15, 2025

On Monday, co-hosts from “The View” criticized President Donald Trump for sending the National Guard to Los Angeles in order to help quell the rioting.

As noted by Hanna Panreck with Fox News, one co-host, Sara Haines, suggested that President Trump intentionally amplified the rioting to bolster his approval ratings, which she said are “ … dropping like rocks.”

Haines continued, saying, “But there’s one catch here, current support right now, though, is that 66 percent of the American public actually thinks it’s crime enough to be undocumented and therefore deported.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin questioned Haines, asking, “That it’s criminal to be undocumented?”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin responded, “Even if it’s a civil offense.”

Referring back to Trump and the LA riots, Haines continued, “So what I’m saying is, a massive amount of this country actually agrees with, not how he’s doing it, but with what he’s doing.”

This prompted further discussion, with one co-host remarking, “So there’s misinformation out there.”

Haines said of President Trump, “I think the strategy here is, he’s leaning into a scene right now, creating a bigger thing, because it is the one thing that he remains supported in.”

This exchange visibly agitated co-host Sunny Hostin, who stuttered, “Well let’s, let’s let’s fix that right now, because it is not illegal to be undocumented.”

Turning to speak directly to the camera, Hostin said, “It is not a crime to be undocumented. People are not illegal … We need to put that information out there.”

In a final statement from Hostin’s thought thread, she regurgitated an earlier remark from her co-host Griffin about civil offenses.

Hostin said, “It is a civil infraction, not criminal.”

During the last part of Hostin’s statements, both co-hosts Haines and Griffin appeared restless and spoke over Hostin in a potential rescue attempt to interrupt or stop her from speaking further.

Co-host Griffin then gained the floor and attempted a redirect away from Hostin’s comments.

Griffin shifted the conversation, saying, “I don’t think it’s actually broadly a misunderstanding. I think that 60 percent of Americans believe that it’s a civil offense and that if you come here and you are undocumented, that you should be deported.”
