Biden DOJ Says New York Mayor Eric Adams Committed Additional Crimes – Already Facing Bribery Charges
January 8, 2025
The Biden Department of Justice is not letting up on New York Mayor Eric Adams.
According to Politico, federal prosecutors said in a recent court filing that Adams engaged in crimes beyond the bribery charges he is already facing.
“Although the indictment and discovery provide Adams with more than sufficient information as to his alleged co-conspirators and aiders and abettors, law enforcement has continued to identify additional individuals involved in Adams’s conduct, and to uncover additional criminal conduct by Adams,” Edward Kim, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District in New York, wrote.
The filing was intended to push back on a request from Adams’ attorney, Alex Spiro, for prosecutors to produce a comprehensive evidence list, referred to as a bill of particulars, ahead of the trial.
According to Kim, such disclosure could limit the prosecution’s flexibility during the trial, and they warned that providing the names of other co-conspirators in advance might facilitate witness tampering by Adams.
“The Indictment provides ample cause to believe that as potential witnesses became known to Adams and his allies, measures were taken to influence their testimony,” Kim wrote.
“And even without a likelihood of physical violence, the threat of witness tampering further supports denial of a bill of particulars in a white-collar case.”
Adams, a Democrat who was elected mayor in 2021, was first indicted back in September on charges of accepting $10 million in illegal “straw” campaign contributions.
These contributions are alleged to have amounted to bribes from foreign countries, including Turkey, Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea, and Uzbekistan, over the past decade.
Some commentators have speculated that the charges may have been brought as a political intimidation tactic by the Biden regime because of his criticism of the administration's refusal to secure the southern border.
This view is shared by Adams himself, who maintains his innocence and has claimed he is being punished for putting the "people of New York before party and politics" as the city was overwhelmed by illegal aliens demanding free hospitality.
Now that Donald Trump is returning to the Oval Office, Adams has also made it clear that he will cooperate with the administration's efforts to deport millions of people residing in the U.S. illegally.

He will face trial in April and intends to plead not guilty to all charges.
