Newly-confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel immediately got to work on Friday and ordered 1,000 agents into the field. He also transported another 500 employees from DC to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

Kash Patel was sworn in as the 9th FBI Director on Friday.

“I promise you the following… There will be accountability in the FBI and outside of the FBI, and we will do it through rigorous constitutional oversight starting this weekend,” Kash Patel said.

Kash Patel immediately shook up the Washington Field Office and transferred 500 employees to Huntsville, Alabama.

Kash Patel also sent a letter to subordinates at the FBI prior to being sworn in as FBI Director on Friday afternoon.

He stated that among his top priorities is to “rebuild the American people’s trust in the FBI.”

“I am honored to have been nominated and confirmed as your new Director,” the letter obtained by Fox News reads.

“While I’m new to the Bureau’s ranks, I’ve spent my career in government service and the past decade in national security, working shoulder to shoulder with the FBI and many of its partners throughout the law enforcement and intelligence communities. My commitment has always been — and always will be — to pursuing justice and upholding the rule of law, and I look forward to continuing that commitment alongside all of you.”

Patel reportedly described keeping Americans safe as a “no-fail mission.”

“As I take on this new role, my priorities for our organization are twofold. First is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to keep our communities safe. This will include streamlining our operations at Headquarters while bolstering the presence of field agents across the nation and collaborating even more closely with our essential partners in state and local law enforcement,” he told FBI employees.

“Second is to ensure we rebuild the American people’s trust in the FBI. We’ll do that by committing ourselves to full transparency with the people’s representatives in Congress and by upholding the highest standards in all that we do, ensuring rigorous obedience to the Constitution and a single standard of justice for all.”

Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) filed articles of impeachment Friday against Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer after his controversial decision to block the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing a crucial Treasury payment system.

The ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed by Trump-hating New York Attorney General Letitia James and 18 Democrat state attorneys general infuriated over Trump’s efforts to downsize government.

As The Gateway Pundit recently reported, Crane announced last week that he was drafting the articles against the far-left Judge, calling his decision a “threat to democracy.”

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) announced his intention to introduce articles of impeachment for U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer of the Southern District of New York.

Today, Rep. Crane fulfilled that promise by officially filing articles of impeachment against Judge Engelmayer for high crimes and misdemeanors.

“Activist judges cannot stop the President from executing his Article II powers. White House employees have every right to access the very systems they oversee. President Trump campaigned on rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal government, and the American people gave him a mandate to do so,” said Rep. Eli Crane. “This is obviously judicial overreach and a clear threat to democracy. If these partisan judges want to be politicians, they should resign and run for office.”

Background:

On February 8, 2025, U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer responded to an overtly political emergency request by 19 Democratic attorneys general aiming to prevent Trump administration officials from accessing a payment system within the Treasury Department.

Judge Engelmayer sided with the states’ assessment and blocked political appointees, including Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, from accessing these records.

Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution states that the President, “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” By restricting the Executive Branch from performing its duties, Judge Engelmayer unlawfully violated the separation of powers.

Here is text from the impeachment resolution:

ARTICLE I: ABUSE OF POWER

Judge Paul Engelmayer, in violation of his oath of office, did knowingly and willfully use his judicial position to advance personal interests and political gain.

The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives ‘‘shall have the sole Power of Impeachment’’ and that ‘‘civil Officers of the United States’’, including Federal judges, are subject to impeachment and removal.

Further, the separation of powers under the Constitution grants the President broad authority over the executive branch, including direct control and access to departments, as part of his role in ensuring the administration of laws and policies of the United States.

In his conduct of the office of United States District Court Judge, in which he violated his oath to the Constitution and duty of impartiality to the people of the United States, Paul A. Engelmayer has abused the powers of his judicial authority, having engaged in actions that prioritize personal and political affiliations over the duty of impartiality owed to the public and litigants as follows:

(1) Judge Engelmayer restrained President Trump and Secretary Bessent from granting access to any Department of the Treasury record, payment systems, or any other data systems maintained by the Department of the Treasury containing personally identifiable information or confidential financial information of payees; and

(2) Judge Engelmayer restrained President Trump and Secretary Bessent from granting granting access to all political appointees, special Government employees, and Government employees detailed from another Federal agency, to any Department of the Treasury payment record, payment systems, or any other data systems maintained by the Department of the Treasury containing personally identifiable information.

This conduct has resulted in apparent bias and favoritism, representing an abuse of judicial power and is detrimental to the orderly functioning of the judiciary. Using the powers of his high office, Judge Engelmayer interfered with the will of the people.

In so doing, Judge Engelmayer used the powers of his position to engage in actions that overstep is judicial authority. By making a political decision outside the scope of his legal duties, he compromised the impartiality of our judicial system.

Wherefore, Judge Engelmayer is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors and should be removed from office.

President Donald Trump delivered remarks to the National Governor’s Association on Friday night in Washington DC.

According to The Hill, the assembled governors included Democratic Govs. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Wes Moore of Maryland, Andy Beshear of Kentucky, Jared Polis of Colorado, and Kathy Hochul of New York, as well as Republican Govs. Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Mike Braun of Indiana and DeSantis.

During his speech to the governors President Trump told the gathered leaders that they must switch to paper ballots and same-day voting.

President Donald Trump: One other thing, just before we leave, I think you should do this. For safety and security and for the good of our nation, you should do it anyway, regardless, even if it costs 10 times more, but it actually costs you just a tiny fraction.

If you went to paper ballots in you’re voting, and I would hope that every Republican would. So it costs exactly 8% of what the machines cost. These machines, they got something going. They They get business. It’s amazing. So paper ballots, and paper is very sophisticated today. Paper, it’s called watermark. It’s impossible to copy, impossible to cheat. It’s actually hard to believe that a piece of paper is highly sophisticated, but it’s watermark, and it’s amazing, actually, when you see it. You can’t cheat.

But if you went to paper ballots and same-day voting, and if you went to voter ID, and also one other thing, you want a proof of citizenship. Those four things, proof of citizenship, voter ID, paper ballots, one-day voting. And if you went to two-day voting or three-day voting. But some of these states, you had 64 days. California just finished up just a short while ago.

They were voting a week and a half ago. They’re trying to finish them up. And other states, too. They were weeks after the election. I mean, if that were a close election, you’d have to wait for weeks and weeks and weeks. You got to finish fast, Brian. Thank you for your help. We did very well in Georgia. It was very nice. But some of these states, if you had a close election, you wouldn’t know who won. And then once that happens, then you really never know who won.

But you would save tens of millions of dollars, forgetting about right, wrong, and security, safety, our country, our Constitution, and all of this. Number one, you’d have a much safer election. Number two everybody. You know the results of your election by 10: 00. Everybody. It’s a beautiful system. It’s boxes of 5,000. Boom, boom. And you can go and examine each box. It’s so simple and so good.

I did ask Elon because he knows more about computers than anybody. And I said, What do you think of the voting system? He said, Computers are not meant for voting. It’s just not a good… It’s too many transactions taking place too quickly.

It’s just not… He said, Honestly… And I’ve gone to the best people, the smartest computer minds from MIT from others. My uncle was a professor for 41 years at MIT and a brilliant guy. And I got to know a lot of the people up there, and they will tell you that the most secure way that you can secure the election, and probably the fastest way, because there can be very little hanky panky, is paper ballots. Can you believe So I hope, Sarah, that certainly the Republican governors. But if you want to save a lot of money, you go to paper ballots. It’ll cost you 8% of what the costs are now. And that’s based on a good deal for machines.

And then when you go through the days and weeks and months of waiting,

France had mail-in ballots. Any time you have mail-in ballots, you’re going to have fraud without question. And France had it, and they went back to paper ballots. And I saw their election, and their election was over at nine o’clock, and their numbers came in at 10: 05. There were no complaints. They had a winner, they had a loser.

39 million votes, and it was done. We’re one of the only people that has now mail-in voting, one of the only countries that has mail-in voting.

Just when you thought the world had learned its lesson from the COVID-19 catastrophe, Chinese scientists have been busy in their labs—again—studying yet another bat coronavirus capable of infecting humans.

And guess who’s leading the charge? None other than Shi Zhengli, the infamous “Batwoman” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the same institution at the center of the lab-leak theory that global elites have tried to bury.

According to a report from the South China Morning Post, the virus—dubbed HKU5-CoV-2—was identified by none other than Shi Zhengli, the infamous “Batwoman” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). Shi, whose lab has been at the center of theories regarding the origins of COVID-19, led a study alongside researchers from the Guangzhou Laboratory, the Guangzhou Academy of Sciences, and Wuhan University.

The newly discovered virus, a variant of the HKU5 coronavirus first found in Japanese pipistrelle bats in Hong Kong, reportedly has the ability to bind to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor—the same receptor that SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, uses to enter human cells.

The study, published in Cell Press, details how HKU5-CoV-2, part of the merbecovirus subgenus that includes the deadly Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), has an alarming ability to infect human cells. Structural and functional analyses indicate that HKU5-CoV-2 binds to human ACE2 more efficiently than its predecessor, HKU5-CoV-1.

The virus was successfully isolated and confirmed to infect human ACE2-expressing cells, as well as human respiratory and enteric organoids. In layman’s terms: this virus, which originated in bats, is now proven capable of infecting human tissues.

The new HKU5-CoV-2 is a coronavirus belonging to the merbecovirus family of pathogens.

Merbecoviruses have been detected in minks and pangolins – the animal believed to be the intermediary for Covid between bats and humans.

This, the scientists wrote, ‘suggests frequent cross-species transmission of these viruses between bats and other animal species.’

They added: ‘This study reveals a distinct lineage of HKU5-CoVs in bats that efficiently use human [cells] and underscores their potential zoonotic risk.’

HKU5-CoV viruses were first detected in bats in 2006, but the new data suggests HKU5-CoV-2 has a ‘higher potential for interspecies infection’ than others.

However, the potential for HKU5-CoV-2 to spill over to humans ‘remains to be investigated.’

Who is Shi Zhengli?

The Gateway Pundit extensively covered Shi Zhengli. TGP first mentioned China’s Dr. Shi Zhengli on April 9, 2020, long before other news publications. About a week after our first post, Dr. Shi’s name was finally breaking into the mainstream media reports.

Chinese doctor Shi Zhengli was part of a team was working on a coronavirus project jointly with US doctors in 2014 before it was shut down by the DHS for being too risky.

After the US research project was shut down, Dr. Shi continued her coronavirus research in Wuhan, China.

After the work stopped in the US, the Chinese moved forward with the project and ran research and development in Wuhan at the Wuhan Virology Center. From Shi Zhengli’s papers and resume, it is clear that they successfully isolated the virus in the lab and were actively experimenting with species <-> species transmission.

The Gateway Pundit has obtained an article from Wuhan Institute of Virology, CAS, in which Dr. Shi was interviewed about her work on the coronavirus obtained from bats.

The article was in Chinese but has been translated. In the article from December 2017, Dr. Shi was interviewed and shared the following:

1. Shi Zhengli and others are called “virus hunters.” They search the world for viruses that have not yet infected humans. Before they wreak havoc, they study them clearly to prevent new infectious diseases.
2. The bat is the source for SARS
3. Viruses from bats generally require an intermediate host, such as the SARS virus.
4. The SARS virus in 2002-2003 was detected in civets (wild cats) sold to the Guangdong market.
5. From 2011 to 2015, Shi Zhengli’s research team took continuous samples from a small cave in Kunming, Yunnan.
6. All the genetic components of the SARS virus strain that caused human outbreaks were found in the bats in this cave.
7. Over the past five years [through 2017], the viruses they received were collected into a large “reservoir”.
8. The prevention and treatment of SARS epidemic is mainly through the direct report system of infectious diseases in hospitals: once the patients suspected of SARS are reported, they will report it. There are already diagnostic techniques and vaccine reserves. If the diagnosis is a case of SARS virus infection, isolate it immediately.
9. For these viruses that are easy to infect humans, we developed diagnostic techniques and even developed some vaccines for storage.

This will be a huge step up from Biden’s highly politicized FBI and FBI Director Chris Wray’s targeting of innocent Trump supporters, pro-lifers, Christians, and concerned parents at school board meetings. This is perhaps President Trump’s most consequential nomination to be confirmed by the Senate.

Patel made similar remarks during his swearing-in ceremony on Friday.

The unidentified suspect(s) fled in a vehicle and are still at large.

Authorities said the killing was a “deliberate act.”

One man was found dead in the parking lot and two other female victims were transported to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Fox News reported:

Three people on Friday were shot and killed outside a Louisville, Kentucky motor vehicle office, in what authorities are calling a “deliberate act.”

The shooting took place at a driver’s license branch in the 6200 block of Willismore at around noon, the Louisville Metro Police Department (MPD) said.

When police arrived on the scene, they found one man shot dead in the parking lot.

Two women, who were also found with gunshot wounds, were taken to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to their injuries, the MPD said in a statement.

Louisville Metro Police Department Maj. Donald Boeckman told reporters that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
