EXCLUSIVE: Trump Senior Advisor Jason Miller Speaks to The Gateway Pundit During Trump’s Inauguration Eve Rally, Says Trump to Sign Many Executive Orders “Within a Matter of Minutes and Hours” (VIDEO)

Trump Senior Advisor Jason Miller spoke to The Gateway Pundit on Sunday at Trump’s pre-inaugural Victory Rally in Washington DC. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump is poised to sign over 200 Executive Orders after he is sworn in today.

Additionally, the administration intends to pardon individuals prosecuted in connection with the January 6 Capitol events, promoting national healing and unity.

Miller said that “we're going to see literally, not in days, but in a matter of minutes and hours, President Trump start signing EO’s.” We also discussed Trump’s top Cabinet Nominees, including Pete Hegseth and Pam Bondi, and their confirmation hearings.

Conradson: What can we expect Trump to do on his first day in office?

Miller: Great to be with you. In fact, I love Gateway Pundit so much. I put on a tux for you just so I could look good for the team. But on day one, we're going to see literally, not in days, but in a matter of minutes and hours, President Trump start signing EO’s to finally secure our border, get those policies back in place: remain in Mexico, ending catch and release ,disastrous policies that Joe Biden's had in place. Also energy, we're going to get energy deregulation going. Obviously, that was the thing that initially sparked a lot of the inflation, when Joe Biden flipped the switch and cut off a whole bunch of the energy production. We're also going to see ending a lot of the wokeism and DEI the other nonsense that’s infected our government. Those will be some of the early points of focus. Obviously, we've got things such as a tax bill that will take a little bit longer, certain aspects of the trade deal will take a little bit longer. But the other thing too, we've already seen the President hasn't even been sworn in yet; we already have a peace deal in the Middle East. So, he is moving quick, and guess what? We're not going to stop there.

Conradson: I know there's a number. I know maybe you guys have spoken about it. How many executive orders are you guys planning to sign on day one?

Miller: Somewhere between many and very many. But keep in mind, in addition to the executive orders are also executive actions, and so it'd be a combination of those. Some can be simple rule changes, things that you don't necessarily need a full executive order. But I don't have the exact number, but I know over the first couple of days, it's a lot.

Conradson: Another thing, you know, Trump's nominees, they've been faring very well in their Senate confirmation hearings. I know that I saw you with Pam Bondi in the Senate on Wednesday. What did you guys talk about? What are your takeaways from her confirmation hearing?

Miller: Pam Bondi is going to be a rock star, and I think, once we get Kash Patel confirmed in a couple of weeks, that he's going to be a rock star as well to run the FBI. But President Trump picked the right people, and going in front of that Senate hearing, it's a little bit of a media circus from the Democrat side. But the thing, if you noticed, and particularly with Scott Bessent, in his hearing, when he went around the room, our people have met with so many of these senators, even the Democrats, that they realize— even the Democrats realize that President Trump's picks are very impressive. So, once we get the people to the hearings, they do very, very well. It's just a matter of getting there, cutting through the media noise. But I'm looking forward to Pam Bondi getting in quick. And by the way we need to get her confirmed really quick.

Conradson: Do you expect the Republican side to be unified around everyone, including Pete Hegseth? I know we've had some holdouts among Republican senators. Do you expect Republicans to vote unanimously for Trump's agenda?

Miller: I think we're going to have great unity. Obviously, I’d never go and say what the exact vote count or something like that will be, but Pete Hegseth really did well in his hearing, and I think it's gonna be really tough for any senator to look at that hearing, see his command of the issues, the way he's able to fire back and attack the false Democrat narratives that have been pushed against him, the anonymous smear attacks, things of that nature. You cannot have watched that hearing and vote against Pete Hegseth. If you're a Republican, you can't. He's just too good. And by the way, Trump needs a Secretary of Defense in place. This isn't something that we can mess around with. The world is way too dangerous. Let's get him in there.
