Far-Left MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Confirms Exit as Anchor After 17 Years of Pushing Liberal Agenda

It seems like every day is another victory for truth and accountability as yet another left-wing activist disguised as a journalist steps down.

Andrea Mitchell, one of the most recognizable faces of MSNBC’s Democrat propaganda machine, announced last fall that she would be leaving her daily MSNBC show after the presidential inauguration.

While she’s not disappearing completely—she’ll still cling to a role as NBC News’ chief Washington and foreign affairs correspondent—her daily influence over MSNBC’s propaganda machine is coming to an end.

Of course, Mitchell tried to spin her departure as some kind of noble decision, saying:

“After 16 years of being in the anchor chair every day, I want time to do more of what I love the most: more connecting, listening and reporting in the field, especially as whoever is elected next week is going to undertake the monumental task of handling two foreign wars and the political divisions here at home,” Mitchell said last October.

She continued, “So, after the inaugural next January — I’ve asked for the opportunity to continue covering those stories, but from a different vantage point — still with NBC News and at MSNBC and still as chief Washington and foreign affairs correspondent” she added. “Just not on the schedule of a daily show.”

For nearly two decades, Andrea Mitchell Reports functioned as an extension of the Democratic Party’s public relations department.

With Mitchell at the helm, the show peddled endless Russia collusion hoaxes, downplayed Biden’s cognitive decline, shielded Hillary Clinton’s scandals, and actively worked to smear President Trump at every opportunity.

Conservatives won’t shed a single tear over her departure. Mitchell was never a journalist—she was a Democratic Party operative with a press badge.

Her exit follows a growing trend of left-wing media figures either stepping down or getting pushed out as Americans increasingly reject their biased narratives.

Last week, far-left Jim Acosta announced his new career plans after dramatically leaving CNN after being demoted.

Acosta announced in a post on X that he will now be going independent and blogging on Substack.

“Hey guys! I’ve started something new. Go check it out!” Acosta wrote in his post, which included a video explaining his plan.

Todd, who has also been a figure of controversy and criticism, particularly from conservative viewers, for his overtly biased reporting, announced his departure from NBC News to pursue independent projects, including his podcast.

“There’s never a perfect time to leave a place that’s been a professional home for so long, but I’m pretty excited about a few new projects that are on the cusp of going from ‘pie in the sky’ to ‘near reality.’ So I’m grateful for the chance to get a jump start on my next chapter during this important moment,” Todd said in the memo obtained by USA TODAY.

Trump-hating crank Norah O’Donnell also concluded her tenure as anchor and managing editor of the “CBS Evening News” on Thursday, January 23, 2025, marking the end of a five-year period.

“After this year’s election, I’ve decided I will be leaving my role as anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News to take on a new position at the network,” she wrote.
