The FBI has just “stumbled upon” a whopping 2,400 previously undisclosed records tied to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

This revelation comes mere days after President Donald Trump signed an executive order mandating the release of all classified documents concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In 1963, America was rocked by the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, an event shrouded in mystery and controversy.

The assassination files have been tightly under wraps, with claims about potential cover-ups at the highest levels of government.

Recall that The Gateway Pundit interviewed former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in May 2023 about his campaign and vision for America.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spent a considerable amount of time discussing his uncle’s assassination in great detail. Robert believes the CIA was involved. He wants the US government to come clean on its role in JFK’s death. Robert then went on to detail his father’s assassination. Robert accused the CIA of being involved in both assassinations.

Three days after taking office, President Trump made a bold move to open up the archives by signing an executive order to release all classified files related to the assassinations of prominent figures including President Kennedy.

“I have now determined that the continued redaction and withholding of information from records pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not consistent with the public interest and the release of these records is long overdue,” Trump said in the EO.

The White House was informed on Friday about the new documents regarding the assassination, following the submission of a plan by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to release the assassination records, as per Trump’s directive.

The discovery, first reported by Axios and later confirmed by Fox News, just proves how corrupt the FBI is.

According to Axios, these documents, which add significant bulk to the already substantial JFK assassination file, were not handed over to the original review board tasked with investigating the case.

A source from the FBI, in a statement to Fox News, claimed that the discovery was made possible due to recent technological advancements and an extensive effort to digitize and inventory their records.

“In 2020, the FBI opened the Central Records Complex and began a multi-year effort to first ship and then electronically inventory and store closed case files from FBI field offices across the country,” the FBI told Fox News.

“The resulting, more comprehensive records inventory, coupled with the technologic advances in automating the FBI’s record keeping processes, allows us to more quickly search and locate records.

“The FBI conducted a new records search pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order issued on January 23, 2025, regarding the declassification of the assassination files of JFK, RFK, and MLK. The search resulted in approximately 2400 newly inventoried and digitized records that were previously unrecognized as related to the JFK assassination case file.

“The FBI has made the appropriate notifications of the newly discovered documents and is working to transfer them to the National Archives and Records Administration for inclusion in the ongoing declassification process.”
