Frank Pavone: Praying for the Most Important Transition Period in our Movement

The reaction of the Left to the re-election of President Donald Trump has been, in a word, unhinged.

Women are shaving their heads and swearing off men. Celebrities are vowing to move out of the country (though there is little evidence most of them intend to make good on that promise). A late-night talk show host even cried on the air.

The insane rhetoric has toned down, but as the president’s inauguration on Jan. 20 grows closer, many Conservatives, Christians and pro-lifers are concerned it could ratchet up again.

Just as this was the most important election in our lifetime so this is the most important transition and just as we prayed like crazy for the election we have to pray very hard for this transition as well.

With this in mind, I have written a prayer guide for this transition, asking God’s wisdom, guidance and protection on our government officials and all of us. I invite all people of faith to join this vitally important spiritual campaign. The prayers are designed to inspire and focus your prayer on the many and varied moving parts of this transition, from the many consequential decisions being made, to the need to protect the process from Democrat shenanigans.

Each day offers a prayer centered around a different theme. There is a prayer asking for the Holy Spirit’s guidance at President Trump continues to appoint his Cabinet and other advisors. Another asks the Spirit to fill U.S. senators with “a spirit of service and readiness to advance the policies the voters want.” Another prayer notes the importance of special elections to fill U.S. House, Senate and gubernatorial positions left vacant by Trump’s appointments and asks that those running to fill those posts are filled with “wisdom and humility” and “the capacity to serve us well.”

A prayer titled “The Right Side of Division” offers thanks for those who can “clearly distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong/common sense and insanity,” and asks God to ensure that His followers always remain on the right side of the issues dividing our nation.

We succeeded at the ballot box in November but our work is not done. We must continue to pray for our wounded nation, that we can get back on track, cast off the deranged woke ideology and get back to focusing on what’s really important.
