Gavin Newsom Gets Blown Up After Taking a Nasty Shot at President Trump While ‘Inviting’ Him to Visit California
January 11, 2025

California Governor Gavin Newsom remains utterly oblivious to his role in the worst wildfire disaster in American history and proceeded to humiliate himself on social media Friday afternoon while knocking President Trump.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a massive 3,000-acre wildfire raged out of control and engulfed homes in Pacific Palisades, California, on Tuesday afternoon. Shocking and heartbreaking footage has emerged showing people abandoning their cars and running for their lives as the fire closes in.

Tragically, several individuals have lost their homes, entire livelihoods, and even their lives over the past several days as fires have spread all across Southern California and show no signs of abating. Meanwhile, firefighters are having issues with water pressure thanks to politicians.

The fires would not have been so severe had California politicians led by Newsom utilized common-sense solutions such as clearing out the dead brush in the woods and filling the state’s depleted aquifers with water.

But Newsom is not letting facts get in the way of snarking at Trump, who called him out earlier this week. On Friday, Newsom sent a nasty message accusing Trump of politicizing the tragedy while also ‘inviting’ him to visit California.

Trump is almost certainly smart enough not to fall for this trap.

“Donald Trump, as you prepare to assume the presidency once more, I invite you to come to California,” Newsom wrote on X. “The hundreds of thousands of Americans – displaced from their homes and fearful for the future – deserve to see us all working together in their best interests, not politicizing a human tragedy and spreading disinformation from the sidelines.”

Social media users were livid over Newsom’s cheap shot and destroyed him in the comments.
