GULF OF AMERICA: Apple Maps Acknowledges Gulf of America, Formerly Gulf of Mexico
February 12, 2025

Apple Maps has officially changed the name of the waters between Florida and Mexico, touching Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, to the “Gulf of America” after President Trump signed an executive order renaming the gulf.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the president floated the idea of renaming the Gulf before he took office on January 20.

While holding his first press conference after being certified the winner of the 2024 presidential election by Congress on January 6, 2025, the President vowed to rename the Gulf of Mexico.

The president followed through on January 20, 2025 with his “Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness” executive order.

The President also signed a proclamation this week on February 9, designating that day as “the first ever Gulf of America Day.”

Surprisingly, as The Gateway Pundit reported, far-left Google agreed to change the name on their map services last month, almost immediately after the President officially declared the new “Gulf of America.”

Apple held out until today.

The White House cheered on the change this morning on X. Apple Maps now displays “Gulf of America” over the formerly named “Gulf of Mexico.”

What an upgrade?
