Illegal Immigrant Gang Member from Honduras Kidnaps Texas Woman: Police Reveal Chilling Plot to Sell Her Organs or Force Her Into Prostitution

A 35-year-old Honduran national, identified as Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy, has been arrested following the abduction of a 22-year-old woman in Haltom City, Texas.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, when the victim was walking to her vehicle at the Acacia Apartments around 4:45 a.m., WFAA reported.

According to police reports, Godoy, who was previously deported back to Honduras for a similar crime, was armed and masked when he forced the woman into her car at gunpoint.

He forced her to withdraw money from a nearby bank and made disturbing threats, including selling her organs or forcing her into prostitution, according to charging documents obtained by Fox 4 News.

After driving her approximately 22 miles to an apartment complex in Grapevine, he restrained her by tying her hands to a tree with her shoelaces before fleeing in her vehicle. The victim managed to free herself and seek help.

Law enforcement agencies tracked the stolen vehicle, locating it in Oklahoma City on December 25.

According to the news release from the Haltom City Police Department:

On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at approximately 8:14 a.m., the Haltom City Police Department was notified by the Grapevine Police Department of a kidnapping and robbery incident that began at the Acacia Apartments, located at 5000 Denton Highway in Haltom City. The victim, a 22-year-old female resident, was abducted at gunpoint while walking to her vehicle around 4:45 a.m.

The suspect, later identified as Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy, a 35-year-old male from Honduras with no known local address, forced the victim into her vehicle. He made several threats and compelled her to withdraw money from a nearby bank.

The victim was then driven approximately 22 miles to the Camden Apartments at 3900 Grapevine Mills Parkway in Grapevine, where she was briefly restrained. She managed to escape and summon help, while the suspect fled in her vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was entered into law enforcement databases with a note of the violent nature of the offense. The victim was physically unharmed during the incident.

On the evening of December 25, 2024, an alert patrol officer with the Oklahoma City Police Department located the stolen vehicle in a parking lot in the 2100 block of SW 39th Street, Oklahoma City. The suspect was inside the vehicle and was taken into custody. Evidence connected to the reported offense was recovered at the scene.

Haltom City detectives traveled to Oklahoma City to interview the suspect. After being advised of the Miranda rights afforded to him, the suspect admitted to his involvement in the offense.

Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy is currently facing the following charges:

• Haltom City Police Department:

  • Aggravated Kidnapping (1st Degree Felony) – Recommended Bond: $100,000.
  • Aggravated Robbery (1st Degree Felony) – Recommended Bond: $100,000.

• Oklahoma City Police Department:

  • Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle (Felony).
  • Use of a Firearm While Committing a Felony (Felony).
  • Receiving, Possessing, or Concealing Stolen Property (Misdemeanor).
  • Carrying or Possessing a Firearm by an Illegal Alien (Misdemeanor).
  • Total Bond in Oklahoma: $3,000.

Ordonez Godoy is currently being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. Haltom City detectives obtained arrest warrants for Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery. He also has an active ICE detainer hold due to his immigration status.
