A hero in Inglewood, CA, attempted to stop the theft of a catalytic converter by two illegal aliens.
When Juan Sanchez confronted the two men, at least one of them fired a gun at him, hitting Sanchez fatally in the chest. He left behind a wife and two kids.
After identifying the two suspects, Wilver Alberto Rabanales and Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez, officers were able to arrest them. After getting a search warrant, the police arrested both of them in a motel in the city of Cudahy on Thursday night.
Police arrested two men suspected of killing a good Samaritan who tried to stop them from stealing his neighbor’s catalytic converter in Inglewood, officials announced Friday.
The Inglewood Police Department said it was with “invaluable” help from the community that homicide detectives successfully identified the two suspects, Wilver Alberto Rabanales and Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez.
Officers executed a search warrant on Thursday night at a motel in Cudahy, where they found and arrested Wilver and Jose.
“The fundraiser, raising money for his funeral, called Sanchez a “devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a cherished friend to so many.” His family told KTLA that he’d recently received a promotion at work after helping out Los Angeles fire victims.” KTLA 5 Reported.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin posted the surveillance video from a nearby Ring camera that shows Juan Sanchez attempting to flag down a fire truck passing by to help him deal with the two men. The fire truck did not stop. After that, Sanchez decided to confront the two men and was shot in the chest and killed.
Not only are both men illegal aliens, but they also have an extensive criminal background.
Wilber Alberto Rabanales, who is from Guatemala, has a rap sheet 11 pages long that shows numerous arrests in Los Angeles County for gun charges, burglary, drugs, and grand theft.
Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez, who is from El Salvador, also has a long rap sheet that is six pages. He has also been arrested numerous times in Los Angeles County for kidnapping, concealed firearm, grand theft, drug possession, and burglary tools.

This is surveillance video of the confrontation and shooting. The victim can be seen in the navy sweater. He initially tries to wave down a passing fire truck for help, before confronting the two men. I cut the video off right as the shot goes off, as the rest is very upsetting. pic.twitter.com/8yhrekpsRW
