“Let Me Finish!” – LA’s Incompetent Mayor Botches Emergency Website Again, Lashes Out at Reporter, Claims Slashing Fire Dept Funding Had NO IMPACT (VIDEO)

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass held a press conference on Thursday morning to brief the public on the ongoing wildfires raging out of control in her city and the greater LA area.

Several fires are currently burning in Los Angeles with near zero percent containment.

Gusty Santa Ana Winds and dry fire hydrants are making it nearly impossible for firefighters to contain the fire.

LA’s incompetent and corrupt Mayor, Karen Bass, was actually in Africa when the fires exploded in her city.

Karen Bass slashed Fire Department funding by $17.6 million a few months before the fires erupted on Tuesday.

Mayor Bass once again botched an emergency relief website while reading her prepared remarks.

A reporter pointed out to Karen Bass that he had watched homes burn down, and there were no firetrucks anywhere to be seen.

“My number one focus…is that we have to protect lives, we have to save lives, and we have to save homes. Rest assured —” Karen Bass said.

It’s a little too late for that. More than 1,000 homes burned down, several people are dead and 2,000 structures have been reduced to ashes.

The reporter interrupted Karen Bass: “But that did not happen!”

“Let me finish!” Karen Bass said lashing out at the reporter.

Karen Bass gaslighted the public and claimed her slashing millions in firefighting funding had no impact on this week’s wildfires.

“There were no reductions that would have impacted the situation that we have been dealing with,” Karen Bass said.

“It’s most important to understand that we were in tough budgetary times, [and] the impact of our budget really did not impact what we’ve been going through over the past few days,” she said.

This is next-level gaslighting.

Karen Bass refuses to take any responsibility for her failed policies that contributed to the most destructive fire in history.

On Wednesday a Sky News reporter cornered Karen Bass and absolutely torched her over her failed policies.

Karen Bass was stunned and hung her head in shame as the reporter lambasted her.
