Rep. Wasserman Schultz Lanuches DIsgusting Attack on Tulsi Gabbard, Calls Her a ‘Russian Asset’ (Video)

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) has been relatively quiet in recent years after a scandal involving an IT aide in her office, Imran Awan.

Imran and his two Pakistani brothers were paid millions of dollars for managing the IT affairs of several Democratic government officials, including Wasserman Schultz. They were relieved of their duties in February 2017 on suspicion that they accessed specific computer networks without permission.

Wasserman Schultz faced criticism over her defense of Imran, who made a sweetheart deal with the Justice Department, 

Despite her own checkered past, Wasserman Schultz has now reemerged in the press long enough to launch a disgusting attack on President Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, calling her a “Russian asset.”

Gabbard is a veteran who served in Iraq and is an Army reservist. Three years ago, she was promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.

President Trump shared the following when he announced her nomination, “I am pleased to announce that former Congresswoman, Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard, will serve as Director of National Intelligence (DNI). For over two decades, Tulsi has fought for our Country and the Freedoms of all Americans. As a former Candidate for the Democrat Presidential Nomination, she has broad support in both Parties – She is now a proud Republican! I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength. Tulsi will make us proud!”

On Friday, Wasserman Schultz shared the claims, without evidence, on MSNBC.

Wasserman Schultz said, “She is considered to be essentially, by most assessments, a Russian asset and would be the most dangerous.”

She was then pressed by the host,”Is that what you consider her?”

She replied, “Yes. There’s no question. I consider her someone who is likely a Russian asset who would be as the DNI, responsible for managing our entire intelligence community, hold all of our most significant intelligence information and secrets, and essentially would be a direct line to our enemies.”
