Senator Eric Schmitt on How H1-B Visa Abuses and Biden’s Border Disaster Impact Americans (VIDEO)

Republican Senator Eric Schmitt talked with “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream about H-1B Visa abuses and Joe Biden’s border disaster.

Senator Schmitt explained to Bream that the H-1 visa program is being abused and said that numerous Americans have had to be involved in training their replacements.

He explained that American workers have been neglected, and too many jobs have been shipped overseas.

Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., says H1-B visas are being “abused” in the U.S. and argues that many American workers are being forced to “train their replacements.”

Schmitt made the comments on Fox News Sunday with host Shannon Bream, cutting against a push for more migrant workers from Elon Musk.

“I think there’s an important, thoughtful debate that’s happening. But the context that we need to, I think, keep in mind here is that American workers have been left behind by this economy. Many factory jobs have been sent overseas,” Schmitt said.

“President Trump brought together a coalition of all kinds of groups and people and thinkers to win. How does he now manage them in the middle of a fight like this that’s gone very public?” Bream asked.

“First of all, I think it’s important to acknowledge this is a very important to debate to have and it’s happening on X right now,” Schmitt said.

“The context that we need I think to keep in mind here is that the American workers have been left behind by this economy. Many factory jobs have been sent overseas,” Schmitt continued.

“The big debate here and the big issue that’s coming is actually the border and we have 15 million people here Shannon that are here illegally that Joe Biden and the Democrats have let it through an open borders policy,” Schmitt said.

“The first order of business, I think, for the Trump administration is the deportations that are going to begin on day one. The executive orders that are coming. I do think President Trump has talked about reforming the system, the H-1B system, but the broader issue here is mass migration that has undercut jobs, wages and increased housing costs,” Schmitt said.
