SYRIAN GENOCIDE: EU Plans Donor Conference for Terrorists Monday – “They are Killing Entire Families”

The EU is set to receive the Syrian “Foreign Minister” in Brussels on Monday as even the UN has to acknowledge the brutal genocide against Alawites and Christians by Islamist militias in Syria. Syrian observer Kevork Almassian called Turkish President Erdogan the “mastermind behind the genocide against the Alawites.”

As the Syrian Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) forces claimed the killing has now stopped, jihadists in Damascus organized a demonstration calling for the extermination of the Alawites, Pamela Geller reports.

Author Ayaan Hirsi Ali slammed “human rights” organizations and the UN for their silence on Syria. Speaking to Sky News’ Peta Credlin, Hirsi Ali called the silence from Western media “shocking” but not surprising, noting that the persecution of Christians is not limited to Syria but is a widespread problem across Muslim-majority countries, including Iraq, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

“In a way, it’s not shocking because one in seven Christians is subjected to persecution across Muslim-majority countries,” Hirsi Ali said. “Human rights has become a joke now … where are these institutions? And the answer is that all of these institutions have been infiltrated by people who are beholden to the ideology of Islamism. They are the ones who pull the shots,” she said.

Even CNN had to report on the mass murders by the HTS militias: “Armed groups killed entire families, including women and children, during an outbreak of sectarian violence in Syria last week, the United Nations’ human rights office said on Tuesday. The bloodshed in the coastal heartland of former ruler Bashar al-Assad saw more than 800 people killed in clashes between armed groups loyal to the toppled dictator and forces loyal to the new Syrian regime, according to a war monitor.”

Other estimates of the death toll range from 7,000 and higher as The Gateway Pundit reported.

“Some survivors told us that many men were shot dead in front of their families,” Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCR) spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan told a press briefing in Geneva Tuesday.

Al-Kheetan said that “summary executions .. appear to have been carried out on a sectarian basis, in Tartus, Latakia, and Hama governorates – reportedly by unidentified armed individuals, members of armed groups allegedly supporting the caretaker authorities’ security forces.”

At the same time, Syria’s “foreign minister” Asaad al-Shibani, is set to attend an EU “donor summit” for his country in Brussels on March 17, a European Union official told Reuters. HTS terrorist leader and “interim president” Ahmed al-Sharaa, whose terrorist name is Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, was not expected to be at the donor meeting, Reuters reported, contradicting earlier reports.

The EU has been organizing the donor conference Titled ‘Standing with Syria: Meeting the Needs for a Successful Transition’, annually since 2017.

Germany has pledged €50 million, Switzerland €65 million and the UK £61 million to Syria since the radical Islamist militia HTS took over the country on December 5. On January 16, 2025, the European Commission pledged €235 million in humanitarian aid for 2025 to support Syria.

“Since the start of the Syrian war, USAID and the State Department’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) have spent more than $18 billion on “humanitarian assistance” in Syria and more than $1.2 billion in fiscal year 2024 alone, oftentimes employing notoriously corrupt NGO partners to do the dirty work”, Popular Resistance reported in December.

In a PBS interview with James Jeffrey, the United States Special Representative for Syria Engagement, Jeffrey admitted that “in 2018, my focus was — at the very center of everything I was doing was Idlib. And in Idlib, he [al-Jolani] was the strongest force.” Thus, USAID was confronted with a problem: how to deliver aid to a region ruled by a group they were legally prohibited from aiding. “We had to turn ourselves into like a pretzel to get [then-Secretary of State] Mike Pompeo to issue a waiver,” Jeffrey said, according to Popular Resistance.

Speaking to GB News’ Neil Oliver, Syrian YouTuber Kevork Almassian said, “On the first day, when the insurgency started, the militants were shouting in public, ‘The Christians to Beirut and the Alawites to the Grave.’ This was a very famous slogan, which means the Christians should go to Lebanon and the Alawites should be killed. This is the prophecy they are trying to implement.”

Almassian, who is an Armenian Christian from Syria, said, “They are on a killing spree. They are taking people out of their homes, humiliating them, and killing them. If you watch the footage, it seems they are enjoying the killing. This is not only about killing, but also pleasure, because in their mind they are getting revenge” on the Alawites, the ethnic group to which former dictator Bashar al-Assad belonged. “They are killing entire families and wiping them out.”

“It seems Russia and the US are on the same side on this. Trump and Putin are coordinating on this”, Almassian said. “According to Russian sources, they are preparing a mini-state in the coastal area for the Alawites in order to separate them from the rest of the country.”

“Israel and Turkey didn’t like the idea that Trump would withdraw American forces from Syria, so they accelerated the regime change and collaborated to knock Assad from power,” Almassian believes.

However, former allies Turkey and Israel have been increasingly at odds since Islamist President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took power in Turkey. Erdogan has taken in Hamas, supported the Oct. 7 massacre, and threatened military action against Israel. Endangered Syrian Alawites have appealed to Israel for help in recent days, as Almassian acknowledged.

Israel has offered to take in Syrian Druze, as Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Tuesday. “We will strengthen ties with the residents of the region, and soon, on the 16th of the month, the Druze will start working in the Golan Heights communities,” Katz said in remarks published by his office following an official visit to the buffer zone on the Syrian side of Mount Hermon, JNS reported. “The plan was reportedly initiated by Israeli Druze, who asked security officials to come to the aid of their people across the northern border.”

Israel confirmed on Thursday that the Israeli Air Force IAF conducted a strike on a terrorist command center belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization in Damascus, Minister of Defense Israel Katz said: “The anti-Israel Islamic terrorism will not be immune, not in Damascus, and not anywhere else. Anywhere terror activities are organized against Israel, the radical Islamic leader Jolani will find the Air Forces’ planes flying over and attacking terror targets. We will not allow Syria to become a threat to the State of Israel.”

Almassian called Erdogan a “Neo-Ottoman” ruler who is “the main mastermind behind this genocide against the Alawites. Not even Erdogan – If the most junior official in Turkey picks up the phone now and calls (Syrian ruler) Al-Jolani, all these massacres stop. But they won’t do it because the Alawites on the Syrian coast reject this Ottoman rule in Syrian.”

Almassian called the European Union statement on the massacre “disgusting beyond belief” because “the European Union said the atrocities in Syria happened due to what is called ‘Assad Regime remnants.’ They are blaming the victims for getting killed… Every man (in Syria) served in the military, so every fighting-age male in the coastal part is called an Assad Regime remnants. But I assure you, if Assad returns to Syrian tomorrow, he would get killed by the same people they are calling Assad Regime remnants, because he fled the country and betrayed his soldiers.”

Almassian noted that Syrian terrorist leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani “went to Iraq in 2003 and joined Al-Qaida and sent car-bombs to Shia neighborhoods. in order to start a civil war. Even the head of Al-Qaida Abu Musab al-Zarqawi used to tell him, ‘What are you doing? Why are you killing Iraqi Shias? There are American occupation  forces in Iraq, but you are sending car bombs into civilian neighborhoods and killing people’.”

“He ended up in a CIA-operated prison in Iraq alongside Abu Bakr al Bahghdadi, and in 2011 they were released. (Al Bahghdadi) formed ISIS, and al-Jolani was his partner” until becoming “the leader of the al-Qaida offshoot in Syria, al-Nusra front. We are talking about someone who is a Takfiri (a radical Muslim terroist who targets other Muslims for being apostates). He is very radical, he cannot build a state. He can destroy a state. The people in Syria know this. They are very scared.”
