President Trump will issue several executive orders just hours after he is sworn into office on Monday, according to The Wall Street Journal.
- Trump will declare a national emergency on U.S.-Mexico border to unlock more funding
- Trump will eliminate DEI directives
- Trump will ending Biden’s limits on offshore drilling and on federal lands
“President-elect Donald Trump is readying a blitz of executive orders that he plans to issue just hours after he is sworn into office, wielding his executive authority on day one to push forward his top priorities related to the border, energy and government reform,” The Wall Street Journal reported.
“The breadth of the orders, which would make major changes to immigration, energy and government hiring policies, illustrates the urgency with which Trump and his team plan to launch into an ambitious agenda,” WSJ reported.

The Trump Admin will also carry out its first large-scale deportation operation in the ‘sanctuary city’ of Chicago on Tuesday, according to The Wall Street Journal.
President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan vowed to prioritize the deportation of criminal aliens.
“The raid is expected to begin on Tuesday morning, a day after Trump is inaugurated, and will last all week, the people said. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will send between 100 and 200 officers to carry out the operation,” The Wall Street Journal reported.
