WAYNE ROOT: HERE IS THE LETTER I JUST SENT PRESIDENT TRUMP ON BEHALF OF JAKE LANG AND ALL THE J6 PRISONERS/HOSTAGES
January 13, 2025
By Wayne Allyn Root
With all the controversy over Vice President-elect JD Vance’s words about J6ers over the weekend, I thought this was the perfect time to urge President Trump to pardon ALL J6ers.
I just sent this cover letter below to President Trump urging him to pardon all the J6ers (with special emphasis on the plight of Jake Lang), care of his top assistants (who sit next to Trump at all times).
Below my cover letter you’ll find a moving letter from Ned Lang, a patriot and the loving father of political prisoner/hostage Jake Lang. Here is my cover letter sent directly to President Trump’s top assistants to share with President Trump…
Please be sure President Trump sees this heartfelt letter below from J6 dad Ned Lang about his son, political prisoner Jake Lang.
Jake has become a dear friend of mine…from his prison cells at 17 different prisons.
Jake is a J6 political hostage.
He has been in prison for 4 YEARS, 4 birthdays, and 4 Christmases without a trial.
This is a combination of persecution…torture…and cruel & unusual punishment.
I can testify what a great young man he is.
He is a fine gentleman…a man of faith in God…and never lost faith or his positive attitude through 4 years in prison without a trial…much of it in solitary confinement (over 900 days- almost 3 years).
He deserves freedom- as do all the J6ers.
This is clearly a case of “fruit of the poison tree.” They’ve all been entrapped by the DOJ/FBI…then treated unfairly…persecuted…and tortured.
But no one has endured worse than my friend Jake.
Please have President Trump read the letter below from Jake’s father.
It is so moving….and true.
I’m a witness to what has been done to this fine young man. It’s a disgrace to our country and our Constitution. I know the Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves.
Please ask my friend President Trump to free ALL the J6ers. But pay special attention to the tragic plight of Jake Lang.
What he has accomplished from a prison cell in 17 different prisons over 4 long years is truly unimaginable- all the leadership he has shown, and all the good deeds (in Judaism we call these “mitzvahs”) he has so selflessly done for all the other J6ers.
Jake deserves his freedom.
Mr. President,
Thank you and God bless,
I’ll see you at the Inauguration.

Here is the letter from Ned Lang, father of J6 political prisoner/hostage Jake Lang…
Dear President Trump,
For over 1,450 agonizing days, my 29-year-old son, Edward Jacob (Jake) Lang, has endured the horrors of incarceration in what can only be described as the purgatory of the Washington, D.C., jail system. Jake has suffered nearly four years behind bars without trial—isolated, punished, and treated in ways no American should ever endure. As a father, I write to you not just as a parent pleading for the life of his son but also as a fellow American imploring for justice and mercy.
Jake faces the unbearable prospect of a 15-20 year sentence as a result of the Biden administration’s relentless pursuit of those who dared to protest the integrity of the 2020 election. This is not just a miscarriage of justice but a deliberate weaponization of our judicial system against patriotic Americans. I am asking for your help, President Trump—not just for Jake but for every January 6 political prisoner and their families. Day one of your administration must bring relief, redemption, and justice to these Americans who have already suffered beyond measure.
Jake has no criminal history. He is not a danger to society but a man of character and conviction who has spent his time behind bars serving others. On January 6, Jake courageously saved two lives—Phillip Anderson and Tommy Tatum—by pulling them from a deadly crush of bodies caused by excessive police force. Tragically, he could not save Roseanne Boyland, who died in his arms that day. Witnesses and affidavits confirm Jake’s selfless acts, yet he has been vilified, stripped of his rights, and subjected to inhumane treatment.
The conditions Jake has endured are harrowing: over 900 days in solitary confinement, 17 different prison transfers through “diesel therapy,” being sprayed with bear mace, denied basic hygiene, and suffering physical abuse—all because he stood up for what he believed in. Despite these hardships, Jake has channeled his pain into action, organizing and raising millions of dollars for other January 6 prisoners and their families through his nonprofit, J6Truth.org. Jake has provided legal assistance, paid for commissary accounts, and even supported families with rent and travel expenses. From behind bars, he has baptized dozens of fellow inmates, offering hope and faith where none existed.
Jake is a remarkable young man who has been guided by strong mentors like Wayne Allyn Root, with whom he has collaborated to advocate for justice and truth about January 6. He has appeared on Mr. Root’s show over 30 times, tirelessly raising awareness for the plight of all January 6 prisoners. Jake’s leadership and compassion demonstrate his unyielding dedication to his country and his fellow patriots.
Our family has always been deeply committed to the values you represent, Mr. President. I have contributed significantly to Republican causes, including hosting a campaign event for Eric Trump in Pennsylvania during the 2016 election. Jake, then just 20 years old, looked up to Eric and was actively involved in the Young Republicans Club, even earning the Future Business Leadership Award in high school. These experiences shaped Jake into the passionate and patriotic man he is today.
Mr. President, the January 6 defendants, including my son, were entrapped by a corrupt system that denies them impartial trials in Washington, D.C. The FBI’s involvement in inciting violence on that day has been exposed, and the truth of what happened must not be ignored. These men and women are not insurrectionists; they are Americans who answered the call to stand for democracy and fairness. Jake stood in defense of others that day and has continued to do so from his cell. His spirit remains unbroken, but his suffering must end.
Please, as a father to a father, I implore you to grant Jake and all January 6 political prisoners a full pardon. My son has paid a price no one should ever have to pay, and he deserves the chance to live his life as the honorable, patriotic man he has always been. This is not just about Jake—it is about the soul of our nation and the justice we owe to every American.
Thank you, President Trump, for your unwavering courage and commitment to the American people. We trust in your leadership to bring justice to those who have been wronged.

Sincerely,
Ned Lang
I pray this letter moves President Trump to pardon and free all the J6ers and end this sad and tragic stain on America’s history.
