Former NHL player Adam Johnson, 29, died from a massive injury to his neck during a game.
The former Pittsburg Penguins player took a skate blade to the neck on Saturday. He was playing in England for the Nottingham Panthers when an opposing player’s blade accidently cut his neck when they collided on the ice.
The two teams were playing in the Challenge Cup at Utilita Arena, home of the Sheffield Steelers, who was the opposing team.

Former NHL player Adam Johnson tragically died after a “freak accident” during a game in England on Saturday when he suffered a catastrophic cut to his neck, according to his club and reports.
The horrifying incident took place during the second period of the Challenge Cup game between the Nottingham Panthers and the Sheffield Steelers at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena.
According to multiple reports, the 29-year-old Johnson was slashed by the skate of an opposing player during a collision on the ice.
His team sent out condolences to his family and spoke very warmly of him. He was described as a great hockey player and teammate.

After the injury happened, he was tended to on the ice and then was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the injury sustained was too much to save him. The rest of the game was cancelled and the Sunday game was postponed as well.
Johnson was originally from Minnesota and played for the Pittsburgh Penguins for 13 games in 2019.
The team also gave condolences: “The Pittsburgh Penguins join the entire hockey world in mourning the life of Adam Johnson, whose life tragically ended far too soon. We offer our deepest condolences to Adam’s family and friends, as well as all of Adam’s past and present teammates and coaches. Adam will always be part of the Penguins family.”

Dr. Ben Carson who served as the 17th United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under the Trump administration has given his full endrosentment to Donald J. Trump.
In a post on X, Carson wrote “Our nation is in desperate need of strong leadership. A President who fights for the American people, our freedoms, our safety, and our future.”
Dr. Carson continued “Donald J. Trump is that leader and I am proud to give him my full endorsement for President of the United States today.”
He concluded his endorsement by writing “Join me in this fight to Make America Great Again!”

Dr. Carson also verbally endorsed Trump at Trump’s rally in Sioux Falls, Iowa.
Carson told a sea of Trump supporters “Benjamin Franklin was asked in 1787 after they finished the Constitutional Convention, “Sir, what do we have here a monarchy or a Republic?” Franklin responded a Republic if you can keep it.”
Dr. Carson continued “The way we can keep it is we can put Donald J. Trump back in office.”
He went on to say “As I stand here today, I’m going to offer my most confident and full endorsement of Donald J. Trump.

Vegas isn’t being too kind to DeSantis.
According to Election Betting Odds, DeSantis has sunken to a 7.9% chance of winning the Republican presidential race which lands him in third place among bettors and investors.
Surging past DeSantis this week was former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley who garnered a 11.2% chance of snagging the GOP nomination.
Way ahead of both DeSantis and Haley is President Trump who is currently sitting at a 73.7%.

Bettors and investors in the 2024 Republican presidential race are moving away from Ron DeSantis, at least for the moment.
Per the Election Betting Odds website, DeSantis has slumped to a 7.9% chance of winning the GOP nomination, good for third place in the field as of this writing Saturday morning.
DeSantis is down 0.2% in the last day; meanwhile, third place Nikki Haley has surged.
The former South Carolina Governor is at a high point in investor estimation, with an 11.2% chance of getting the Republican nomination.
When it comes to bets for winning the U.S. presidential election, bettors are leaning towards Trump who is leading all candidates with a 34.3% chance of becoming president.
Behind Trump sits Biden at 33.2%.
Coming in third is Democrat Governor of California Gavin Newsom despite not even being in the race.
Rounding out the top five are Haley at 5.6%, and RFK Jr. 3.5%.

The Gateway Pundit recently reported on Old Joe being under investigation by the House Oversight Committee for stolen classified documents that were used for potential monetary gain.
The House Oversight Committee earlier this month launched an investigation into whether Joe Biden’s stolen classified documents were used to make his family millions of dollars.
“We are investigating whether classified documents President Biden was caught mishandling included sensitive information related to specific countries involved in his family’s foreign business schemes that brought in millions for the Bidens,” the Oversight Committee said earlier this month.
Earlier this month, House Oversight Chairman James Comer sent a letter to Special Counsel Robert Hur demanding more information about Joe Biden’s stolen classified documents.
House Republicans also launched an impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden.
Former Speaker McCarthy last month announced he is directing House committees to open an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden.
“I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Over the past several months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct—a culture of corruption,” McCarthy said in September.
Here is just some of the evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption and bribery schemes:
House Republicans recently announced they now have reviewed 170 suspicious activity reports linked to the Biden Crime Family.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer identified the NINE Bidens who are implicated in the corruption.
“Bank records show the Biden family, their associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals and their companies,” Comer said.
Senator Chuck Grassley recently released the FBI document showing Joe Biden was involved in a $10 million bribery scheme with Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky.
Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business associate, appeared before the House Oversight Committee over the summer to testify on the Biden Crime Family.
Here are some key takeaways from Devon Archer’s testimony per the House Oversight Committee:
When Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, he joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times.
Devon Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma’s board was “the brand” and confirmed that then-Vice President Joe Biden was “the brand” and that the 20 phone calls were to sell “the brand.”
Devon Archer admitted that “Burisma would have gone out of business if ‘the brand’ had not been attached to it.” Because of the Bidens’ involvement, people would have been intimidated to mess with Burisma legally.
In December 2015, Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of Burisma, placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C. regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. Shokin was investigating Burisma for corruption.
Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, “called D.C.” to discuss the matter. Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski stepped away to make the call. This raises concerns that Hunter Biden was in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
Joe Biden was dialed into a dinner in Paris with a French energy company and in China with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR. Then-VP Biden also had coffee with Li in Beijing and even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li’s daughter.
Archer confirmed Joe Biden was referred to as “my guy” by Hunter Biden.
In 2014, then-VP Biden attended a business dinner with Hunter & his associates at Café Milano in D.C. Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow, was an attendee. Notably, the Biden Admin’s public sanctions do not contain Baturina.
It should also be noted the Burisma founder held 17 audio tapes, 15 with Hunter and 2 with Joe Biden, he kept as an insurance policy.

Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to discuss Joe Biden’s criminal money laundering operation and the FBI’s role in covering for the Biden Crime Family.
Last Wednesday, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that the FBI received ‘criminal information’ from over 40 confidential human sources on Joe, Hunter, and James Biden – dating back to Joe Biden’s time as Vice President.
According to Grassley’s letter which was obtained by Fox News, the task force in the Washington Field Office shut down the reporting from the sources which eventually halted investigative activity.
“Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family,” Grassley wrote in a letter to US Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray. “Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors.”
Grassley wrote: “Our Republic cannot survive such a political infection and you have an obligation to this country to clear the air.”
Donalds discussed Grassley’s letter and the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe Biden.
The House Oversight Committee has no IRS records or loan documents confirming the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe Biden in 2018 was a ‘loan repayment.’
A couple of weeks ago, Comer uncovered a $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden.
In 2018, Jim Biden received $600,000 in ‘loans’ from Americore Health LLC, a failing/bankrupt rural hospital operator. According to bankruptcy documents, Jim Biden received the loans “based upon representations that his last name Biden could open doors and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”
On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC wired a $200,000 payment to Jim and Sara Biden’s personal bank account. On that very same day, Jim Biden then wrote a $200,000 check to Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy.”
Jim Biden defrauded Americore with false claims he could save the company with the Biden name – and Joe Biden benefited from the fraud.
Congressman Donalds said Oversight Committee is actively finding new evidence of Biden corruption every day.
“Now we’re starting to see the transactions that went to Joe Biden – money actually going into his hands,” Rep. Donalds told Maria Bartiromo. “One of the things that I believe we’re gonna uncover is that there were payments made on behalf of Joe Biden where they didn’t give the money to him, but the money was spent on his behalf.”
