Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is another expert in the art of political survival. Any premier with less of a Globalist pedigree and the same dismal legacy would have been ousted a long time ago.
But lately, Trudeau seems in the worst shape of his whole premiership, and the Canadian Federal Court has just delivered a long-awaited ruling that certainly is not going to make things any easier, as it deems his actions and measures when invoking the Emergencies Act against the Canadian truckers were āunreasonable and unconstitutionalā.
True North reported:
āThe decision follows an application for judicial review launched by the Canadian Constitution Foundation, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and several other applicants in 2022 after the emergency measures were used to end the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa.
The measures controversially allowed the government to freeze the bank accounts of protesters, conscript tow truck drivers, and arrest people for participating in assemblies the government deemed illegal.ā
The decision to issue the Proclamation was āunreasonable and beyond the scope of the Emergencies Actā.
BREAKING: Judge rules Trudeau broke the highest law in the land with the Emergencies Act.
He caused the crisis by dividing people. Then he violated Charter rights to illegally suppress citizens. As PM, I will unite our country for freedom.

Trudeau āviolated Charter rightsā, encroached upon freedom of thought, opinion, and expression, and āinfringed on the right to security against unreasonable search or seizureā.
āāIt is declared that the decision to issue the Proclamation and the association Regulations and Order was unreasonable and ultra vires [beyond the authority of] the Emergencies Actā, the Federal Court ruled.ā
In short, the legal threshold to use the law was clearly not met.
āIn his ruling Justice Richard Mosley argued emphasized that the Emergencies Act should be viewed as a last resort, deployed only when all other options have been exhausted. He found that the evidence indicated most provinces were capable of managing the situation using existing laws, such as the Criminal Code, as argued by Alberta.ā
The government failed to demonstrate the absolute necessity of invoking the Emergencies Act, and the Court emphasized the importance of exhausting other available tools before resorting to this last resort move.

Ā Kari Lake confronts AZGOP Chair Jeff Dewit for refusing to support her stolen election lawsuit on May 19, 2023.
The Gateway Pundit reported last March, before Kari Lake announced her bid for U.S. Senate, she revealed that a person sent by āpowerful people back Eastā attempted to bribe her āwith a huge salary and a position on a boardā to stay out of politics.
Lake, however, told the individual to pound sand and then later announced her campaign for Senate with President Trumpās endorsement.
Now, Tucson radio host Garrett Lewis reports that two sources close to the matter confirmed to him that it was Arizona GOP Chairman Jeff DeWit.
Two sources confirmed to me that AZGOP Chairman @JeffDeWitAZ was sent to @karilakeās home (last year) on behalf of powerful people, to try to bribe her to leave politics. Kari obviously said no. DeWit must resign now. You canāt run the AZGOP and want Kari Lake to be gone.

We have it on good authority that this is true, and more information is likely coming out shortly.
Still, DeWit has denied the claim to multiple sources:
Multiple sources are reporting @JeffDeWitAZ has denied allegations. We are waiting for an official statement from @JeffDeWitAZ . Perhaps one of the āsourcesā wants to weigh in?https://t.co/VOvmbX1kJO pic.twitter.com/jmqX5fLu1I

DeWit has not responded to The Gateway Punditās request for commentā¦
Based on DeWitās previous remarks, it is probable that he would try to get a pro-Trump candidate to stay out of politics, as he apparently did with Kari Lake.
In early 2023, DeWit, a close friend of billionaire donor and former DeSantis surrogate Jim Lamon, was caught on a recorded phone call making anti-Trump statements and declaring that he is āoff the Trump train.ā However, he denied the legitimacy of the tapes and lied about the context, calling the tape āchopped up,ā āfake,ā and a dirty campaign tactic, when asked by reporters.
Washington Post reported:
And in leaked audio circulated on social media in recent weeks, DeWit can be heard saying people urged him to run to stop Daniels and distancing himself from Trump.
āIām off the Trump train, Iām DeSantis,ā DeWit says in the undated tape. āI worked for Trump and everything. Iām not good with those people because I didnāt support their idiot Blake Masters,ā he added, referring to the U.S. Senate candidate who had Trumpās endorsement but lost in November.
DeWit said in an interview with The Post Saturday that the audio is āa fake tape chopped upā from a private conversation he had last year with a Daniels backer.
āThe part he cut is the very beginning, where I said, āPeople are saying that I am off the Trump train because I wouldnāt support Blake Masters,āā DeWit said. āIāve never seen a dirtier campaign tactic than recording a private phone conversation and creatively editing it to try to win an election. Itās despicable.ā
A longer portion of the audio, provided to The Gateway Pundit, adds more context toĀ the audio recording of Jeff DeWit and does not appear to be āfakeā or āchopped up,ā as DeWit told the Washington Post. In the audio below, DeWit refutes claims that he is affiliated with the Trump campaign, saying, āMan, Iām off the Trump Train. Iām Desantis. Iām not good with the Trump people because I didnāt support their idiot, Blake Masters, FYI.ā
DeWit is also heard saying, āI donāt mind Trump,ā when asked why he made these statements, but he does not appear to change his position. Still, DeWit continues to deny the legitimacy of his statements and even told The Gateway Pundit that he was lying to the person in the recording below, seemingly in an attempt to cover for himself.
According to sources, DeWit traveled on Jim Lamonās private jet to Iowa last July to support Ron DeSantisā failed campaign. Additionally,Ā Dewit was listed as chief investment officer of Jim Lamonās solar energy company, Depcom Power, in May 2021 and chaired Lamonās failed Senate campaign in 2022, according to Arizona Central.
Many inĀ the Arizona Republican Party have long speculated that DeWit is a āpuppetā for Lamon, who lost his U.S. Senate Primary after Trump endorsed Blake Masters for the seat. This raises the question: is an unelected billionaire controlling the Arizona Republican Party chairman?
Based on the information we have, it would appear likely that RINO Jeff DeWit may now support Nikki Haley after Ron DeSantis suspended his campaign for President. However, it is unclear who Dewit and Lamon are backing.
