Rep. Lauren Boebert has won the packed Republican primary in Colorado’s 4th after switching districts.

The seat previously belonged to Rep. Ken Buck, who announced his plans to retire earlier this year.

The district should be an easy win for the congresswoman in November as it leans heavily red.

“Since the first day I ran for public office I promised I would do whatever it takes to stop the socialists and communists from taking over our country,” Boebert said when announcing her plan to switch districts in December. “That means staying in the fight. But it also means not allowing Hollywood elites and progressive money groups to buy the 3rd District.”

The Associated Press reports:

Boebert entered her election night party in the evening toting a pair of reflective gold sneakers sold by former President Donald Trump and a white “Make America Great Again” hat with Trump’s signature etched across the bill.

Her opponents in the primary were more traditional rivals including former state Sen. Jerry Sonnenberg; current state Reps. Mike Lynch and Richard Holtorf; and parental rights advocate Deborah Flora.

While the theater incident and Boebert’s district jump rattled some Republicans, Gilbert Kendzior, 68, a voter in Boebert’s new district, shrugged them off, asking “who’s perfect?”

Kendzior told the outlet that he likes Rep. Boebert because she shakes things up.

“It’s gotten too staid. Same promises, nothing happens,” Kendzior said. “We need to get rid of the old farts.”

Far left ‘squad’ member and New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who has been in the national spotlight due to sympathizing with a terrorist group and controversial alarm-pulling incidents, has lost his bid for reelection for New York’s 16th Congressional District.

Recall, Radical Socialist Democrat and Insurrectionist Jamaal Bowman found himself in hot water after pulling a fire alarm in the US Capitol on Saturday, September 30, and shutting down Congress.

Bowman’s actions were aimed at obstructing a crucial vote that would have kept the government operational. So he pulled the fire alarm.

Jamaal Bowman said he struck a deal with Democrat DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb to have the fire alarm charges expunged from his record once he pays a measly fine. He will not be held in the DC Gulag like dozens of Trump supporters for their actions at the January 6, 2021 protests, many who did much less than this.

Bowman’s electoral fortunes started to decline back in April when his primary challenger, George Latimer, began to lead him in polls. To make matters even worse for Bowman, Hillary Clinton endorsed Latimer. For someone like Bowman, that has got to hurt.

A screaming AOC and Jamaal Bowman held a tiny rally in the Bronx on Saturday to save his sinking polls. They couldn’t even draw a comparable crowd to what Donald Trump brought in!

Police bodycam footage released late last week shows the moment a violent transgender person was gunned down by Denver police after ignoring several commands to surrender and threatening them with a knife.

The Denver Gazette revealed Tuesday that the shooting happened on June 16 at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Lawrence Street in Colorado’s capital city. Police officers responded to someone standing in the intersection, telling passing motorists to hit him.

The person killed in the shooting was 52-year-old Miguel Tapia. Police identified Tapia as transgender.

Denver cops previously mistakenly identified him as a woman.

In the bodycam footage released by the Denver Police Department (DPD), one of the officers can be heard telling Tapia to “put his stuff down and his hands on his head.” The perp defies the officer’s commands.

The cop and two of his fellow officers exit their vehicles with pointed tasers. Tapia responds to the officers by yelling at them in Spanish and marching toward them while holding a bag in each hand.

Another officer tells Tapia in Spanish to surrender, which he again ignores. Roughly 15 seconds later, the suspect puts his bookbag on his shoulder and pulls out a knife with an eight-inch blade from his waistband.

Tapia then approaches the cops. Two officers fire three Taser cartridges at the thug in self-defense, but this does not deter him.

With their options dwindling, the three cops pull out their handguns and unload 12 rounds at Tapia. He falls to the ground in a heap.

Police proceed to handcuff the lifeless suspect.

The Denver Gazette reports police called for an ambulance and began rendering aid after Tapia fell. He was pronounced dead on the scene and later identified by the Office of the Medical Examiner.

Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas told reporters that the perp’s ‘gender identity’ played no role in their actions. Instead, the police response was solely based on the suspect’s criminal behavior.

“We have discovered the person was transgendered, and there was a belief that the person was houseless, but that did not factor into our decision,” Thomas explained.

“What factored into our decision was the person had a knife and was moving aggressively toward the officers,” he added.

Denver 7 News reports two of the officers who fired weapons were patrol officers while the third was a sergeant who started with DPD in 2001.

According to Denver 7 News, the heroic cops have been placed on a modified duty status while they complete DPD’s reintegration program and the investigation unfolds. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Colorado State Patrol are investigating the matter.

The outlet notes their findings will be overseen by the Office of Independent Monitor which will then turn them over to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Trudeau’s popularity has cratered because of his failed Globalist policies bringing about a high cost of living, a lack of affordable housing, steadily declining living standards, and of course, his crippling carbon taxes pushing up petrol prices.

“Polling shows that most Canadians believe he should step aside. Mr. Poilievre has claimed that Mr. Trudeau is personally responsible for Canada’s high prices, which he has dubbed ‘Justinflation’.”

This by-election is thought by many Liberals as “Trudeau’s last stand”.

“According to projections by 338Canada, the Conservatives would take 209 seats if an election had been held on June 23 – substantially clear of the 172 seats needed for a majority – while the Liberals would topple to 70.”

The Fraser Institute held a study in May showing that ‘Canada was suffering one of its worst declines in living standards in 40 years’.

CNN is attempting to silence independent media and control the narrative surrounding the first 2024 Presidential debate on Thursday by not allowing the use of CNN’s live broadcast to report and comment on the debate in real time.

This revelation comes after CNN’s Kasie Hunt abruptly cut off Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, after she brought up Jake Tapper’s history of comparing Trump to Hitler and told people to “Google ‘Jake Tapper Donald Trump.’”

It’s not enough to turn off President Trump’s microphone or to cut off spokespersons in interviews.

Jesse Watters compared this move to slapping a gag order on the Trump campaign. “We knew Trump’s mic would be muted during the debate, but we didn’t know his campaign’s mic would be muted before it,” said Watters.

It appears they took a page or two out of the Democrat playbook regarding gag orders and reaching out to social media companies and YouTube to censor conservatives.

According to Tim Pool, the far-left YouTube contacted him, stating that CNN is not allowing live commentary on the debate and that "they are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions."

CNN alleges that its request has more to do with image rights than anything else. In the preceding presidential election, Fox also sought to sue those who used its live broadcast to comment on the debate on internet platforms, though it eventually dropped the legal battle.

Tim Pool assured this Monday that what the television network really wants is that "no one breaks its narrative." The commentator assures that preventing communicators like him from doing live monitoring of the debate with commentary and fact-checking is an attack against the basic principles of civic and democratic participation.

"Now, of course, as with all presidential debates," Pool assured in a video on his channel, "that is the epitome of civic responsibility, of civic participation. We will be doing live commentary and fact-checking in this presidential debate, as we have done in all the others since the program has existed," he added.

Tim Pool: I received a message from YouTube last week asking to hop on a phone call to discuss the RNC and the presidential cycle, and I said, sure. I briefly spoke with some individuals at YouTube earlier today who made it clear that CNN reached out expressing concern. I don't know the full extent, but making it known that YouTube better contact their news programs over the CNN debate.

Now of course, like all presidential debates, which is the epitome of civic responsibility—of civic participation, we will provide live commentary and fact checking on this presidential debate, as we have done for every other, so long as this show has been around. In a show of good faith, YouTube asked me to reach out to CNN to see if there was anything that they would be looking for in this regard because apparently, they are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions.

And I said, Okay, I'll reach out, to which the immediate response was something along the lines of confirming we will not allow anyone on YouTube to use this outside of, you know, CNN granting certain platforms-- basically saying, you can't do this. And my response immediately was commentary on Presidential Debates is the epitome of fair use. Hope that helps.

This Thursday will be particularly interesting. I think that news is big! I can't really put that succinctly in 80 characters for a YouTube headline, but this is massive that CNN is pulling this move. We saw something similar that Fox News had done; Fox had filed several takedowns on various shows, including ours, but they abandoned their copyright claims, because this is unquestionably fair use.

We have the two people running for the president of this country, one of them the current president, and we're going to fact check, and we're going to comment, and we're going to call them out in real time. If we can't do that, if no one else can, then that's severely limiting civic participation, and it's allowing a biased network that in the past has likened Trump to Hitler to control who can and cannot fact check this man. And as we know, with special rules for this debate, they are seeking to control that narrative. And I believe that is exactly why they reached out to YouTube and why YouTube reached out to me because they don't want anyone to break their narrative. That's the dirty game they're playing. It's going to be a fun Thursday.
