How do climate alarmists expect the rest of us to care about their cause when they can’t even distribute information from experts accurately?

Internationally known climate alarmist Greta Thunberg, the 21-year-old Swede with a penchant for leftist causes, warned the world in 2018 that mankind had five years to stop using fossil fuels or all of humanity will be wiped out.

The since-deleted social media post — a tweet on the platform then known as Twitter — can be found via a screenshot from another post below.

While Thunberg’s post did not say humanity would end in five years — we did make it past 2023 after all — there was one glaring problem with it. The article that Thunberg linked misquoted the scientist who made the relevant remarks.

In January 2018, James Anderson, a professor of atmospheric chemistry at Harvard, gave a speech that was covered by Forbes.

Anderson remarked in that speech on damage he claimed climate change is doing to the “permanent ice” at the Earth’s poles, and its implications for the globe, according to Forbes.

“The chance that there will be any permanent ice left in the Arctic after 2022 is essentially zero,” he said, according to Forbes. “Can we lose 75-80 percent of permanent ice and recover? The answer is no.”

The Forbes article was published Jan. 15, 2018.

On Feb. 19, 2018, Grit Post — a leftist online publication with the motto “real news for the working class” — used the Forbes piece as its source for a now-deleted article with the headline: “Top Climate Scientist: Humans Will Go Extinct if We Don’t Fix Climate Change by 2023.”

Its lede sentence declared: “A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.”

(The article has been deleted, but internet archives last forever.)

That was the report Thunberg quoted.

In a 2023 article, The Assocated Press took a look at the controversy surrounding Thunberg’s deleted post — and defended Thunberg, naturally, as a victim of bad sourcing and nasty attacks from conservative websites.

In remarks to the AP for that report, Anderson pushed back against Grit Post’s framing of his speech. He stated, “the ‘wiping out of humanity by 2022’ is a total distortion of what I said or meant at the University of Chicago colloquium in 2018. I would never make such a statement.”

The timeline above is enough to make anyone’s head spin. Here’s a summary:

Anderson gave a speech in January 2018 which Forbes reported on the same month.

Grit Post wrote its own piece in February 2018, quoting mostly from Forbes. Grit Post put the “extinction of humanity” and the “wipe out of all humanity” into the conversation as part of its article.

Thunberg — in June 2018, six years ago this month — posted a link to the Grit Post article and quoted its opening sentence.

Thunberg deleted the tweet in 2023 which is amusing, considering it was the five-year mark.

What is also amusing is that AP picked up Thunberg’s deletion of the tweet not to lambast her for sensationalism, but to defend her. AP took to guarding Thunberg against conservatives — obviously the real culprits — who ridiculed her for the post’s deletion.

Now six years removed from this conundrum, the real issue is how the left used a child to promote its agenda. Thunberg is a young woman now, but made herself a climate celebrity as a teenager with a gift for bombastic remarks.

The AP report did not chastise her for spreading an article that misquoted Anderson. The article instead criticized conservatives who went after her for deleting the tweet.

The establishment media are very quick to fact-check conservative voices who would dare go after Thunberg.

Now an adult, Thunberg was used as a pawn while still a child. Her cover was perfect — a young person who could say outrageous things, while also having the fallback of being a child. To the left, her reported mental and emotional problems, the fact that she had been diagnosed with Aspberger’s syndrome and had battled depression, just made her more untouchable.

It’s time we start holding her to a higher standard. Maybe then we will see most of what she says is nonsense — and sometimes dangerous nonsense.

Even more importantly, we need to understand the mindset of those who used her for political purposes.

The non-profit organization Catholics for Catholics (CforC) is calling on the Church’s laity to petition their priests to offer masses for President Trump.

The organization hopes to reach a goal of 2024 masses for Trump from the President’s recent birthday on June 14th until November 5th, 2024 – Election Day.

CforC shares, “The Church considers the Mass the greatest possible prayer of intercession because it is the perfect offering of Christ to the Father by making present the Paschal Mystery of His death and resurrection.”

In March, the organization hosted a dinner at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

President Trump has raised concerns about the persecution Catholics face under the Biden Regime many times, including during a recent keynote address at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s “2024 Road to Majority” conference.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Chris Wray’s FBI infiltrated Catholic parishes, and FBI agents engaged in outreach to Catholic leaders to spy on Americans practicing their Christian faith.

Biden’s FBI-DOJ was also targeting traditional Catholics.

Wray’s FBI sent out a memo warning agents of the dangerous ‘radical traditionalist Catholic ideology’ that was gaining popularity in the country. The memo was posted at UncoverDC.com by former FBI special agent Kyle Seraphin.

The call to prayer comes at a time when, according to a poll by the Pew Research Center, Cafeteria Catholic Joe is losing the Catholic vote.

The poll shares that if the election were held today, 55% of Catholic voters say they would vote for Donald Trump, or lean toward voting for him.

Only 43% say they support Biden.

A similar poll conducted by Pew before the 2020 election found that Catholics were almost evenly split between the two candidates, with 50% saying they’d support Trump and 49% reporting that they would vote for Biden.

New information released by the House Judiciary Committee shows CIA contractors colluded with the Biden campaign to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop.

In October of 2020 – just days before the presidential election – 51 former intelligence officials signed and published a letter that baselessly decried the contents of Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell’ had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

This was a lie.  They all knew it was a lie. The fake news media ran with the story anyway.

• High ranking CIA officials, up to and including then-CIA Director Gina Haspel, were made aware of the Hunter Biden statement prior to its approval and publication. Because several former senior intelligence officials signed the statement, the PCRB sent the draft statement to the CIA’s then-Chief Operating Officer (COO) Andrew Makridis, who said he subsequently informed then-Director Haspel or thenDeputy Director Vaughn Frederick Bishop that the statement would be published soon. Senior CIA leadership had an opportunity at that time to slow down the CIA’s process for reviewing publication submissions and ensure that such an extraordinary statement was properly vetted.

• Some of the statement’s signatories, including Michael Morell, were on active contract with the CIA at the time of the Hunter Biden statement’s publication. Throughout the course of the Committees’ investigation, the signatories claimed to not have had access to any classified information when asserting that the allegations surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the hallmarks” of Russian disinformation. However, at the time of the statement’s publication, at least two signatories—Morell and former CIA Inspector General David Buckley—were on the CIA’s payroll as contractors. Due to purported operational concerns, the CIA declined to declassify the entire universe of signatories who were on active contract. In addition, some signatories to the Hunter Biden statement also had special “Green Card” access to the CIA at the time of the statement’s publication, allowing them to gain entry to secure CIA facilities.

• After publication of the Hunter Biden statement, CIA employees internally expressed concern about the statement’s politicized content, acknowledging it was not “helpful to the Agency in the long run.” At least one employee found it “[i]nteresting to see what was submitted and approved” when discussing media talking points that the statement’s co author, former Senior Intelligence Service Officer Marc Polymeropoulos, submitted related to the statement. When discussing Polymeropoulos’s talking points, another CIA official stated, “It appears [Polymeropoulos] is actively involved in a pro-Biden campaign and may be disclosing classified information in his efforts.” The CIA’s internal review board, known as the Prepublication Classification Review Board (PCRB), determined that Polymeropoulos’s talking points contained classified information that had to be removed prior to publication.

“The new information included in this report, based on new testimony and declassified documents, shows the potential dangers of a politicized intelligence community. In the waning days before the 2020 presidential election, 51 intelligence community officials rushed to draft and release a statement using their official titles, presumably to convey access to specialized information unavailable to other Americans. The statement was conceived following a conversation with a senior Biden campaign official and designed explicitly to provide talking points to the Biden campaign to discredit politically damaging allegations. Some of the signatories of the statement were on the CIA payroll at the time as contractors and others had special access to CIA facilities. Even Michael Morell—before the Committees learned of his contract with the CIA—acknowledged, “It’s inappropriate for a currently serving staff officer or contractor to be involved in the political process,” the House Judiciary Committee said.

Dramatic images show Drag race legend John Force’s car suffering an engine failure and exploding, subsequently hitting the wall at 300 mph in a fiery ball.

The veteran pilot was rushed to the ICU after the grave accident.

New York Post reported:

“Force, 75, was competing in the first round of Funny Car eliminations at the PlayNHRA Virginia Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park on Sunday when his car exploded, causing his vehicle to slam into a “concrete guard wall” at 302 mph, John Force Racing revealed in a statement on X Monday.”

The Hall of Fame team says the crash happened during the crossing of the finish line, and it would have been caused caused by a ‘catastrophic engine failure’.

Force’s blue Chevrolet Camaro SS burst in flames right after crossing the finish line of the quarter-mile drag strip.

The burning vehicle rushed across the strip’s centerline, slamming into the concrete wall, bolting back across the track and colliding with the other wall.

“’After NHRA Safety Safari personnel extricated and stabilized the 16-time champion, he was transported by medical helicopter to a trauma hospital where he still was being observed and evaluated on Monday’, his team shared.

Doctors caring for the Southern California native have been “moving slowly in assessing the extent” of his injuries due to the ‘intensity of the impact’ the crash caused. ‘Medical staff will not provide a treatment and recovery timetable until a total evaluation is completed’.”

His daughter, drag race car driver champion Britanny Force, who was also competing at the event, is by his side at the hospital.

Force’s team will provide updates on the condition of the racing star in the coming days, while Virginia Motorsports Park officials are investigating what caused the horrendous wreck.

Force is a pillar in the NHRA circuit since 1978.

He has since won 157 titles and 16 season championships, and has been seriously injured before, in 2007 in a crash in Ennis, Texas.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the outrageous interview where CNN’s Kasie Hunt cut off Leavitt after she brought up Jake Tapper’s years of comparing Trump to Hitler.

“First of all, it takes someone five minutes to Google Jake Tapper and Donald Trump to see that Jake Tapper has consistently compared Trump to Adolf Hitler,” Karoline Leavitt said before the interview ended abruptly.

These people are insane! There is no reason to believe this debate will be any fairer than Chris Wallace’s moderation of the 2020 debate, which he rigged against Trump.

Leavitt: Well, it was a little bit shocking, I'll be honest with you, to have my microphone cut off and dumped from the program after less than two minutes. And all I was doing was repeating statements that Jake Tapper has said on air himself about President Trump. So, Jake Tapper can go on the air, he can lie about President Trump, he could say his presidency was an American nightmare, he could push the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in an effort to help Joe Biden's campaign, and he can compare President Trump to Hitler, which is disgusting and egregious. But, when I try to breach that subject on the network, they cut me off, they can me again. It's because they still want Americans to believe, laughably, that they're the most trusted name in news. They are not. They are an anti-Trump institution, just like basically every other main institution in this great country, and the American people are waking up to that Sean. And that's why regardless of the lies that CNN and the mainstream media have been spewing about President Trump for years, he continues to win. He has the momentum in this race. Recent Emerson College poll shows him winning and every battleground state. He's winning with independents. He's picking up a historic margin of the black vote. He's winning with Hispanics. He's winning with women. He's winning with young people because all Americans realize that the Democrat Party is corrupt. They've been lying about him for years, and people remember just how much better their lives were under his leadership. And Thursday is going to be a great reminder of that.
