Breaking: North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson in Hospital With Burns After “Incident” at Campaign Stop
September 28, 2024
North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) was burned in an “incident” at a campaign stop Friday night and is in the hospital in “good spirits”, according to a campaign spokesman.
Robinson, the Republican nominee for governor, was reportedly campaigning in Mt. Airy when the burn “incident” occurred. There are no reports as to whether Robinson’s injuries are from an accident or an attack of some sort. Robinson’s campaign was thrown into chaos last week following a CNN report that accused him of having a past profile on a porn website where he allegedly made shocking comments.

New Poll Finds Donald Trump Leading Kamala Harris in Nevada, Closing in on Minnesota
September 27, 2024
New polling from Rasmussen and American Thinker finds Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris in Nevada and even looking good in Minnesota, the home state of Kamala’s running mate Tim Walz.
Nevada has not voted Republican in a presidential election since the election of George W. Bush in 2004. Trump has a lot of support in the state, especially since announcing his idea of no taxes on tips.
If ever there was a year for Nevada to flip back to red, this is it.
Poll: Trump Leading Harris in Nevada, Within Striking Distance in Minnesota, New Mexico
Former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris in Nevada and is down in Minnesota and New Mexico by less than 10 points, according to a recent poll.
A Rasmussen Reports and American Thinker poll conducted between September 19-22, 2024, found that 49 percent of likely voters in Nevada would vote for Trump, while 48 percent would vote for Harris.
The poll surveyed 738 likely voters in Nevada, 993 likely voters in Minnesota, and 708 likely voters in New Mexico.
In Minnesota, Harris leads with likely voters with 49 percent, while Trump received 46 percent of support.
Winning Nevada would be great for Trump. Trump winning Minnesota would be a political earthquake. Harris losing Minnesota despite the fact that her running mate is the sitting governor of the state would set off a meltdown from the left that would make their tantrums in 2016 seem quaint by comparison.
IT BEGINS: Democrat Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon Pushes Bill to Pack the U.S. Supreme Court
September 27, 2024
Democrat Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon has introduced legislation to pack the U.S. Supreme Court. His bill would add six judges to the court over the course of a few years.
Wyden claims his bill is necessary to fix the supposedly tarnished image of the court. He fails to mention that it is the Democrats who have done everything they can in recent years to smear the court and all of the conservative justices.
This has nothing to do with fixing the court’s image, it’s about fixing the politics of the court to favor the progressive left.
Sweeping bill to overhaul Supreme Court would add six justices
A sweeping bill introduced by a Democratic senator Wednesday would greatly increase the size of the Supreme Court, make it harder for the justices to overturn laws, require justices to undergo audits and remove roadblocks for high court nominations.
The legislation by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is one of the most ambitious proposals to remake a high court that has suffered a sharp decline in its public approval after a string of contentious decisions and ethics scandals in recent years. It has little chance of passing at the moment, since Republicans have generally opposed efforts to overhaul the court.
Wyden, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, said the goal of the bill is to restore public confidence in a battered institution. He said he hopes to get parts of the bill passed, even if the whole package is not embraced by lawmakers…
The bill’s most significant measure would increase the number of justices from nine to 15 over the course of 12 years. The staggered format over two or three administrations is aimed at diminishing the chance that one political party would pack the courts with its nominees.
In the tweet below, Carrie Severino of Judicial Network outlines the worst parts of the bill:
With 40 days until Election Day, Democrats just rolled out the most radical and dangerous legislation to date aimed at destroying the Supreme Court as we know it.
The new radical bill put forward by Senate Democrats is the worst attack on the Court since FDR. It will:
– Pack the Supreme Court with 6 more justices.
– Harass the justices with mandatory yearly IRS audits.
– Require a ruling by two-thirds of the Supreme Court and the circuit courts of appeals to overturn a law passed by Congress rather than a simple Court majority.
– Expand the number of federal judicial circuits from 13 to 15 — adding more than 100 district court judges and more than 60 appellate-level judges — so Democrats can stack the federal bench with more unfit radicals.

Democrats despise the U.S. Supreme Court because they don’t control it. If Hillary Clinton had won in 2016 and appointed three left wing judges, there would be no complaints from them about the court.
De Niro was recently at a Q and A session about the new Francis Ford Coppola film Megalopolis. De Niro couldn’t stay on topic and just talk about the movie. He had to bring up Trump and the election.
This is a classic symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome. People who suffer from it find it impossible not to bring it up, no matter what is being discussed at the time.
Robert De Niro Repeatedly Derails ‘Megalopolis’ Q&A With Anti-Trump Tirades
Even as legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola tried to keep the panel event for his new film, Megalopolis, on track, the rabidly anti-Trump actor Robert De Niro insisted on going off the rails to attack the former president…
During Monday’s Q&A session that was part of the New York Film Festival, Coppola spoke of the theme in his film of cities falling and being rebuilt, but De Niro used the discussion as an excuse to jump right into the 2024 election.
“I’m worried. I see the things in Francis’ film about that, parallels and so on,” the Raging Bull star railed. “To me, it’s not over until it’s over, and we have to go at this wholeheartedly to beat the Republicans — those Republicans, they’re not real Republicans. Beat Trump. It’s that simple. We cannot have that type of person running this country. Everybody has to get out there and vote, and we have to make it very clear what America is.”
The video below is cued to start at the 27:00 mark where De Niro makes the comments. You’ll notice that he gets a smattering of applause from the audience but remember, these people are fans so it’s not surprising that they would agree with him.
They better have a padded cell ready for De Niro in November if Trump wins the election.
