• Yadira Perez, who sits on the Coachella City Council, talks to reporters in this interview about her husband, Isidro Jimenez-Ibanez, being detained by ICE.

Isidro Jimenez-Ibanez was detained due to his status as an illegal alien with a history of criminal convictions and illegal re-entries into the United States.
His criminal record deemed him a threat to public safety:
• Convicted in Riverside County, California, for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) for sale. This led to his initial deportation in 1995.
• After illegally re-entering the U.S., he was convicted of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse in Riverside County.
• Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI).
• Convicted of assault with a deadly weapon in Riverside County.
Yadira Perez should be removed IMMEDIATELY from her position and charged with harboring an illegal alien criminal fugitive.
