White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ripped Biden White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for comparing the new briefing room, which allows previously barred outlets to ask unscripted questions, to North Korea and Russia.

The controversy surrounds a recent decision by the White House to open the press pool to new outlets and allow a wide range of voices to ask the President questions in events only the pool could access. For years, the far-left White House Correspondents’ Association held an iron grip over deciding which outlets get a seat in the coveted White House press pool.

In 2020, the far-left garbage website Washington Post wrote a hit piece on The Gateway Pundit, The Epoch Times, and OANN for crashing their White House party. The far-left media STILL believes they are entitled to promote the news narrative in America today.

In the same year, the White House Correspondents Association removed One America News Network from the rotation of press outlets granted seats at the daily White House coronavirus task force briefings after OANN reporter Chanel Rion allegedly violated in-house rules by twice showing up at the briefings without an assigned seat. This organization also refused to grant The Gateway Pundit official credentials during the Biden regime.

Leavitt recently announced that this “select group of DC-based journalists should no longer have a monopoly over the privilege of press access at the White House,” and the White House would now dictate pool access to allow previously excluded outlets into the room.

Recently, on The View, KJP, who is known for censoring conservative voices in the briefing room and hiding Biden’s cognitive decline, criticized the Trump Administration for barring the dishonest far-left Associated Press from pool events with limited capacity and stripping the White House Correspondents’ Association of the power to control the briefing room. This move is intended to open the press room and the Oval Office to new media outlets that were prevented from covering the full White House under Biden.

However, KJP claimed that stripping the state-run legacy media’s monopoly on the press room is the Trump Administration’s push for “state TV.”

“What we’re looking at is what Russia is doing. What we’re looking at is what North Korea is doing, and we are doing that,” she said. Ignoring that Biden was known for his refusal to speak to the press, she cheered on the Biden regime’s so-called transparency.

KJP: If you look at the Associated Press, they are the oldest wire in the press briefing room. And you think about journalists, you think about the reason they’re in the press briefing room, you think about the reason they’re in the pool, it’s called the protective pool. There are 13 members of the pool—trying not to get too wonky here—and their job is to provide unbiased information to the American people, because the American people deserve that. And when the White House press team decides to step in and override the White House Correspondents Association, who they have the job of doing that, then what we’re looking at is state TV.

What we’re looking at is what Russia is doing. What we’re looking at is what North Korea is doing, and we are doing that. They are attacking the fiber of the freedom of the press. They are destroying it because they want to be covered in a friendly way. And look, I was in that position for two and a half years. It is an exercise. What we did in the press briefing room, what the President did when he took questions from the press, it is an exercise of a democracy.

When asked to respond to these comments, Leavitt shredded Biden’s incompetent DEI press secretary, calling her out for lying about Biden’s mental capabilities and setting the record straight.

“when it comes to truth and transparency, this administration, this White House, is setting the example, Leavitt said. “This President is taking FAR more questions than his predecessor, Joe Biden, did on a daily basis, and that will continue.”

In another scathing rebuke, Leavitt admonished the entire Democratic Party for their psychotic behavior at President Trump’s Joint Session Address. “Democrats exposed themselves as the party of insanity and hate, the party that wants to put America last,” she said in response to their outrageous and divisive behavior during the President’s speech.

DOGE made another noticeable move saving U.S. taxpayers money and perhaps striking a blow against Barack Obama’s massive ego in the process.

As Fox News reported, Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has terminated the lease at the Obama Presidential Library site. This was one of many federal leases and contracts recently terminated.

This library is located at the Hoffman Estates in northwestern Chicago and is not the same as the Obama Presidential Center near Jackson Park on The Windy City’s southside, which is scheduled for completion next year. The Chicago Tribune reports the lease was scheduled to end this year and move to a new location.

Fox News notes the Hoffman Estates site and all presidential libraries are run by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The Obama Presidential Center, however, is overseen by the Obama Foundation.

DOGE says its decision on the Hoffman Estates property saved almost $1.5 million.

However, some leftist critics speculated that this move was partially about shading the former two-term White House occupant.

“It’s possible (DOGE) has some particular malice toward the real estate holding the archives for the last really popular two-term president,” said Charles Tiefer, a retired University of Baltimore law professor, told the Tribune. “But it’s more likely that it’s fakery about unrealized savings, the same as in hundreds of other contracts.”

There are millions of unclassified documents, which are currently being digitized, and thousands of physical artifacts. The latter includes gifts given to the Obama family, dresses worn by Michelle Obama, and a fancy sword from Saudi Arabia.

According to a National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) estimate, the Hoffman Estate building has approximately 25 million unclassified paper documents. These documents are currently being digitized and will be available in digital format at the Obama Presidential Center when it opens.

Currently at the Hoffman Estates are also 35,000 physical artifacts, including gifts given to the Obamas. The library, a converted former furniture showroom, also houses former President Barack Obama’s silver BlackBerry, the draft of Obama’s first inaugural speech he wrote on a paper pad, a signed Pittsburgh Steelers football, a jeweled sword from Saudi Arabia and dresses worn by former first lady Michelle Obama.

Those artifacts will also be sent to Maryland and occasionally lent to the Obama Presidential Center.
